I was recommended to Bliss by a friend of mine who hired them for their wedding. Ryan was very responsive at the beginning but once contracts were signed responsiveness was at a minimal. We got Uplights, Fog Machine, Photobooth and Marquee Letters from them. Everything was decent except for the Photobooth. The lighting was so horrible and dark that you could not see the faces in some of the photos. The guy working at the Photobooth seemed like he didn't want to be there either. We booked our DJ and Photo Booth with Bliss for our wedding in October of 2018, they were one of the few event companies that our hotel worked with. I would have given Bliss 5 stars had it not been for the photo booth. I had the most amazing wedding, from ceremony to reception to after party. The DJ that bliss sent was AMAZING. Literally the only thing that bothered me that evening and after (still to this day) was the photo booth. The person working the photo booth packed up an hour before the wedding was over, even after I had explained that we we paid for an additional hour (I was reimbursed by bliss for the last hour, so thank you for that) but the pictures came out so bad that the minimal compensation received still left me bothered. The reason you book a photo booth at a wedding is to capture fun memories and it's not something you can relive. Their saving grace was the DJ. I would totally book a DJ through them again and again and again, but I don't recommend using their services for a photo booth. read more

I hired them for a wedding being held on 4/4/20. That date should be an indication that the wedding was canceled because of COVID-19. Despite having no control over the cancelation of my wedding, Bliss Entertainment has claimed I cannot be refunded. They are claiming this because of their contract. For your reference, this is in the contract that I signed. "Events By Bliss, LLC is not responsible for any delays in regards to establishment (i.e.: venue opening late or any acts of God (weather). " Our 4/4/20 wedding was not canceled because of weather. Our 4/4/20 wedding was cancelled because the entire state AND country was locked down. What further confuses me is that under the reality of COVID, Bliss could not perform the contract. So, if performance is just impossible, it should be inequitable for them to keep my money. It isn't my fault or the fault of the establishment that Nevada shut down the venue. Their "solution" was to offer me a credit towards a future event. I am only getting married once so that was useless. I also don't have tens of thousands of dollars to just throw around on other parties. We hired Bliss Entertainment Event Group for an event in Las Vegas a year ago. They double charged our credit card for more that $5,000 and despite admitting the mistake, never returned the money. Do NOT use them under any circumstance. Email from owner: "I apologize for delay. I did some investigating and it looks like we received an email from you that said something was wrong with the initial card payment and to re run card again. We did not know that the initial payment did actually capture. I will tell accounting to process a refund tomorrow. It could take up to 10-14 business days for the credit to appear back to your card. Don't get me wrong, I thoroughly enjoyed my wedding and did not let poor performances by Ryan/Bliss dampen the vibe...but gotta be real. 1) MC - Avoid Tony. Dude was whackkkk. So many awkward silences after a dance, the slideshow, speech, anything. Brother needs to talk it up a bit. I almost MCed myself after the first few but just reminded myself to chill and have a good time 2) Communication - Usually poor. Sometimes exceptionally good almost like we were in bed together. Initially good communication, then tapered off during the most critical times (like the wedding week). Don't read the contract too carefully upon payment because they don't adhere to the services listed 3) Planning - Poor. Mother/son dance had wrong song despite me giving him the link. Intro dances DJ used a cut version of Uptown funk which was "nice" (as in not nice) since we had choreography going. Approving our slideshow the day before our wedding could've been avoided. 4) Slideshow - Can you at least full screen that shit? I'm not paying to stare at a windows media player bar. 5) Photobooth - Can I get an extra LED light? No one wants to see massive shadowy faces. If your wedding is outdoors or at night hit SKIP. Also photobooth attendant made little effort to inform guests of the video option which was what we were looking forward to watching. 6) Unfulfilled promises - Like another user on here, Ryan promised to send me a photobook after the wedding after conveniently "forgetting" to set it up. MMMhmmmm. Never happened after many months of me contacting him. He probably got annoyed because a responsible person was contacting him. Also promised to be at the event and do a planning session prior but didn't think it was needed to tell us he was gonna say I'm NAHt going to make it. 7) Lighting was actually good. We had market lights and were really pleased by Bliss with regards to this aspect. Unfortunately overshadowed, so it's at the bottom of the list 8) Music - Everything played was appropriate and fun . We hired bliss to do our dj, lights & wall draping for our wedding 3/30/19. The staff was professional and thorough, they did a great job and made every effort to give us the most personal service. Our dj, Vinh was awesome and listened to almost all our requests. My family loved him and remarked how he remembered peoples names, danced and made people more comfortable during reception. So, this will be my final update on my experience with Bliss Entertainment - assuming they'll never respond to any of my e-mails texts and phone calls, which wouldn't surprise me at this point. I sent a number of emails - no response. I sent texts - no response. Phone calls? Don't count on it. Both phone numbers have an automated message saying that both mailboxes are full. I'm not even sure how a business can even operate like this. I have demanded a refund of a portion of what I paid since Bliss could not keep their word and have breached their contract. Given their track record for responding, the only way I could probably get their attention at this point is through legal action. This could have been avoidable so my advice to all of you looking for services with Bliss, please start looking elsewhere. Ryan tried to patch things up with me & said he sent over the pictures he promised but that was a long time ago and I still haven't received anything. I honestly have nothing bad to say about them! Bliss provided lighting, marquee letters, draping, & videography for my wedding. Absolutely loved the marquee letters such a great touch! And the draping with the twinkle lights behind it was so beautiful!! The way they set it up was perfect and have such a beautiful backdrop for my head table. The videographers were very discreet and did not distract or get in anyone's way and they worked well with my photographer which was amazing! I have not seen the video yet but of course I have high hopes it will be great. I loved that they were just going around and made it comfortable with us! If I could give 0 stars, I would. Bliss did our lighting and the photobooth for our wedding at the Skirball Cultural Center in Los Angeles, CA (july 2015). Let's just say that he did NOT follow through on any of the things he said that was going to do for us, which was WRITTEN IN THE CONTRACT. 1) Ryan initially tried hard to get our business. He called us so often and gave us a deal with the lighting and photobooth so we gave in. But after we paid the deposit, he completely disappeared. This is similar to the other Yelp reviewers. He was not responsive at all with emails or phone calls and did not answer any of our questions. We had to constantly contact him about questions we had (designs for our photos, the lighting color, and the GOBO design). He only responded a week before the wedding and even when he did, he wasn't very helpful. There was a clear difference in how he treated us before we paid the deposit and afterwards. 2) The day of our wedding: The photobooth team came and at first glance it was clear they hired teenagers to do the job. He DID NOT EVEN COME to the venue as he promised. More importantly, the device did NOT WORK the ENTIRE night. Again he had promised that he would be there the whole day to help his team out. But, he was no where to be found. 3) Our wedding coordinator called him nearly 13 times and again no response. Our wedding coordinator called him continuously throughout the night and he did not respond at all. His team was no help- couldn't fix anything. Instead of trying to fix the photobooth his team was outside smoking cigarettes and making jokes with each other as I escorted guests out of the venue. To quote our coordinator said "Ryan and Bliss was the worst vendor he's ever worked with throughout his wedding career." 4) To make matters worst, we tried reaching him after the wedding to inquire about getting a refund or allow him to give any explanation but again, he wasn't even professional enough to respond. Weddings are a sacred, once in a lifetime event. Ryan what you did was completely unprofessional, heartless, inconsiderate and my wish is that no other couple has to go thru what we went thru. Picking you as a vendor was the worst decision we ever made. The photobooth is something we looked forward to and we could not take one picture. read more

We have been trying to get a hold of Ryan multiple times via email and by phone and he forwards the call or does not reply at all. We had to cancel our wedding due to covid and we NEVER used his services and still charged us the full amount. I know times are tough but at least be a little more understanding especially with couples who had to cancel their special day. I hired Bliss for my wedding two weeks ago. I bought the package with 16 up lights, a GOBO, wedding cake spot light and also used their lighted backdrop and photo booth service. Ryan and his team at Bliss did an amazing job at our wedding reception. They provided the photo booth, DJ, lighting and photographer. The photo booth worked out well as it gave guests something fun to do as they waited for the Bridal party to arrive. Our photographer was very easy to work with. For both the ceremony and reception he was where he needed to be to get the shot but also stay unobtrusive at the same time. We have received all of our photos and are very pleased with the quality. Our DJ kept the reception on track and worked with me as we made a few changes to the itinerary. I hadn't planned a way to end the reception but he came up with the perfect song to end the evening. The vibe at the reception and the lighting was great. The MC was very entertaining and got everyone involved. I really don't like focusing on negatives but for the purpose of an accurate review....... I wanted an instrumental version of a song to play as I walked down the aisle but they played the regular version. When the officiant began to speak the microphone was not working properly so none of my guests got to hear the ceremony. After the wedding we were suppose to meet up with Ryan to get all copies of our photo booth pictures but he avoided my texts and would say he was free on a certain day but when that day arrived we'd never hear back from him. We knew we wanted a big party and just wanted our guests to have a good time and he delivered exactly that. He was excellent at directing the night and working with my coordinator (plus my other vendors) to make sure the timeline went smoothly. And his set was more than we could have asked for! All 170 of our guest were out on the dance floor the entire time and we got more than a few compliments about how great our DJ was. LIGHTS - We didn't go crazy with the lighting setup but it definitely punched above its weight class. I've read the very few poor reviews given by other customers and my experience was total opposite. Ryan was extremely responsive to all of my texts and calls, no matter what time of night (I would often thing of things to add/ask while I was getting ready for bed and he would always respond right away). I let him know everything I needed and wanted for my wedding reception and he was able to work with my budget. The uplighting provided made a 100% difference. The ugly decor of the hotel was unnoticeable after the lights went up. Only complaint about the lights was there wasn't anything to cover them so they were a trip hazard to those walking against the walls (...but who does that?)... the photo booth was a big hit as well. My husband and I got married on 4/27/19. I did a lot of research on different entertainment groups and thank goodness I found Bliss - your one stop shop for EVERYTHING. I initially spoke requested a quote only for uplighting and a photo booth, in which they gave me an extremely reasonable quote compared to other vendors. A few months later, we needed an MC, then a few months after that, we wanted to change the look of the venue and we went straight to Ryan to help us add more lighting, a dance floor, and drapes. He was extremely responsive to all of my questions and literally helped me with everything from the time we booked with them to the day of the wedding. Bliss transformed our venue into exactly what Andrew and I were looking for all around. The MC Joseph Canilao was absolutely amazing. He knew exactly how to get the crowd going, he got along so well with my family members, and everyone enjoyed his presence. We hired Bliss entertainment for our daughters Sweet 16, this May and we were extremely excited with the uplighting and backdrop draping with lighting behind it and under all tables. It really made our daughter feel like the princess she was that night. She walked in and was in awe. All the pink lighting and with her dress she said she felt like it was a fairy tale. We even had lighting on the cake. Thanks to Ryan for the suggestions and being patient with all of my questions. Also thanks to Marvin for the great photo layout, everyone loved them. Our Dj Troy was great, with a couple of oops but not noticeable I believe to a ballroom full of teenagers. Lol. Bliss Entertainment just did my wedding and I can't say enough good things about them. They handed the DJ, the 2 photographers, the videographer, and the photo booth for much much less than other places wanted to do have the work. The staff was amazing and friendly. They made everyone feel great and ensured we were having a great event. The photographer got everything, even the crazy requests we came up with on the spot. It was amazing. The DJ and MC were so great they play all the music on our list and kept everyone dancing all night. The music for our ceremony was perfect as well. The Lighting they used for both the ceremony and reception was so great really help set the mood for each event. The Photo booth was perfect. The attendant was so sweet and helpful. She did such a great job with our guests. All of our guests loved the photo booth and the props they provided. So much fun! Ryan and his team were absolutely amazing!! I can't gush enough about not only their work but their sense of care and concern for me and what I needed as a bride on my wedding day. I think of all the vendors who helped me for my wedding, Ryan and Bliss Ent. was by far the most helpful in keeping me sane and confident that everything would go well-- and it went above and beyond my expectations! Ryan was available by email and cell/text message at any given hour and he was always quick to answer questions and I felt like he put my concerns over anything else. He's absolutely selfless with this commitment to his friends and clients... honestly, he made me feel like I was more a friend than just a client. We had so many compliments about our lighting and our photobooth was a huge hit with everyone. I don't usually consider myself a needy, dramatic, panicky person under pressure, so it's hard for me to think I was a bridezilla-- but seriously, I totally was... especially in the days before my wedding. My wedding was a few weeks ago in Anaheim Hills, CA, during SoCal's busy wedding season and even busier summer brush fire season. Just across the San Bernardino Mtns from Anaheim Hills was the Blue Cut fire burning out of control. The day before my wedding the 15 fwy and Cajon Pass were shut down, so traffic going into CA was impossibly delayed. I had lots of family and friends coming from Las Vegas so was terrified that the fire would make everyone late-- even worse, I knew Ryan and his crew were coming from Vegas and I was worried our equipment would not arrive in time for rehearsal or for the wedding-- omg, no, no,no :( !!!! But before I could go freakout ballistic crazy, Ryan texted me to let me know he was leaving earlier than planned, he was taking the longer route to avoid the fire closure and would have all our equipment with him! He, in fact, arrived before my family and friends from the same area! He alone gave me so much peace-of-mind through the planning process that I honestly think he should have charged for the mental health therapy he provided. The day of the wedding was as perfect and seamless as I could ever hoped for. Our lighting was gorgeous, Bliss did an incredible job setting up an elegant and uplifting mood for our ballroom. All our guests had a wonderful time and i just remember being amazed at how the space was so dramatically transformed because of the uplights. The best part was how little planning was required of me. I basically gave Ryan my vision and color preferences and he just took it from there. He checked out my venue and coordinated everything so perfectly, it seemed effortless. What he created was beyond what I could have imagined the space to be! Our photobooth was truly the jewel of the wedding. Our guests had such a great time and the photo quality was outstanding. Bliss provided me with an online gallery, day-of photobook, and all our guests were given photo keepsake favors too. I've been to and hogged-up many photobooths at parties, cruises, arcades, festivals, etc., so, I've had lots of experience to critique photobooth quality-- and have to say, Bliss' photobooth quality is phenomenal. Our photos were bright and made for completely flawless and good-looking shots. They made everyone look like photogenic actors from like a beer commercial, just enjoying their carefree good looks, seriously, I'm not kidding, absolutely magical. I'm not sure how many characters I'm allowed in a yelp review, but I honestly can't begin to write enough about how wonderful Ryan and Bliss were for my wedding. From the time I first contacted them where I received a lightning speed response and reassurance, to Ryan's proactive communication with me to keep me on target and task, to when I called him hours before my wedding in a panic that our decision to have our DJ friend DJ meant I we didn't have enough dance music to play into the night due to an inopportune laptop meltdown at the last minute-- oh yeah, that happened. With just hours until the wedding, Ryan stepped up and hooked me up with his dance music library!! There were so many things that he did for us, that I truly can't even describe. He worked tirelessly and gave me so much of his time and took on so much of my stress that I can't ever thank him enough. Ever. Thank you Bliss. Events By Bliss was the best thing I did for my wedding. They are top notch and very professional. I would definitely recommend them. Ryan walked me through everything and he had it all under control. He showed up at my wedding venue, Aliante hotel, and set it all up. Weddings are stressful but he made it run so smooth. Okay, so this is probably a premature review since my wedding isn't until 2014, but these guys really impressed me with their professionalism. I already booked them for up lighting and instead of simply asking what color I want the lights, these guys came out with their equipment and showed me all the different purples possible in up lights to help me customize the color for my big day. They also have layouts and designs of the venues and meet with venues they are unfamiliar with to get a layout before the day. They have intelligent lighting as well to add even more elements to the decor, they have the ability to do cake lighting, centerpiece lighting, gobos (monograms), pretty much anything you want to light up they can do it. Besides up lighting, Ryan, Ren, and Troy also provide DJ/MC services...this being their primary passion. They also brought sample mixes of their music. They even joked that they thought about bringing out the turn tables to the meeting :p. The other services they provide include: videography, event decor, planning, photo booth through iflick, photography. With Vegas being a wedding city, there are endless choices for vendors. Lighting options are a little more limited and I probably researched all the companies in Vegas and some in the LA area as well, including DIY up lighting and these guys have extremely reasonable prices for their services and they came at the recommendation of our venue who has seen their work in the flesh. I would definitely recommend setting up a meeting with these guys to check out their services. I never felt like they trying to pressure me into adding additional services and Ryan took the time to answer my endless questions even prior to the meeting. Great communication and easy to work with so far....looking forward to seeing their work on my wedding day and be on the look out for an update to this review. read more

AMAZING! It's a bliss to work with Ryan and his staff, (Jose and D), all the photo booth people. From the second we got in contact with Ryan he was energetic, fun and full of ideas. He made our vision a reality and only him and his team could do this. We are indian and a 4 days wedding that was completely done by Bliss at Aliante and it was beyond anything we could think of.
