This review is so long overdue but LET ME TELL YOU! You need a Dana when it comes to wedding/reception planning. My husband and I first met her when she was planning a friend's wedding. We heard nothing but amazing things, so we knew when we started planning, we definitely wanted to reach out to her. We first tried to plan on our own, but after 4-5 months of getting nowhere, we pulled the trigger and hired her. We're so so happy that we did. Dana is incredible to work with, so kind and sweet, organized, thoughtful, and just overall amazing. Throughout the process (which was mostly virtual given that my husband and I were up in Nor Cal) she helped us with vendors, reassured us when we were stressed, and supported us through all our ideas. She has great communication skills, and we felt like we could talk/text her whenever needed. She is also very patient and willing to reach out to various vendors and provide feedback. She'll even talk through ways to identify cost savings so that you can meet your budget which was really important to us. My husband and I were indecisive regarding a couple vendors, but she made sure we went with who we felt comfortable with, knew would do a great job, and was cost effective. Dana also went the extra mile to do vendor tours on behalf of us and was always willing to meet us up when we came down to LA. During the wedding day, Dana and her team were so freaking great! They were prompt, encouraging, very well prepared, organized, and so much more. She came and met up my husband the day before to pick up items from him so she can set up things herself at the reception like our engagement photos and candy bar. She was kind enough to even let us use her candles and seating chart templates. Everything ran smooth, and even if there was hiccup, no one else besides us knew because of how well the team handled anything and everything. We had such a great time at our wedding/reception, and I know there is no way we would have been able to pull together this event or have as much fun as we had without her help. We were very very impressed and satisfied especially since most of the events were planned virtually over zoom and phone calls. Dana, we cannot thank you enough! Dana planned and organized my nautical themed baby shower. Every detail, large to small was beautiful and meaningful to me! For example, my husband is a veteran in the navy, and Dana asked to borrow some of his gear. His officer's sword, navy flags, and various hats were displayed throughout, and they really beautiful, personal touches . I wouldn't have thought of it! My husband stopped by the shower to greet friends, and he enjoyed how part of his history was being used to help celebrate our baby boy. The food and dessert tables were as delicious as they were elegantly displayed. I felt special and happy when I saw how beautiful the party was, and I was delighted my guests felt the same! Stop thinking about it and hire Dana!! You won't regret it. She recently planned and coordinated my gender reveal in October for 55 guests and I couldn't be happier. She handled all of the linens, flowers, centerpieces, games, bar menu, dessert table, dinner menu, photographer, videographer, party favors and signage etc (her attention to detail is impeccable). She had great vendor referrals for everything that I wanted and the pricing was perfect and within my budget. I didn't think I had the budget for a videographer but really wanted to get drone footage and Dana saved the day with a personal vendor/friend who gave me the best deal I could've asked for.
