I just want to thank Charley for making this experience so special. As I'm sure every bride feels very overwhelmed when they first enter the boutique, but Charley made me feel very welcome and comfortable enough to choose my own dresses. From what I've heard about bridal boutiques is that the stylists pick out the dresses and don't let the bride or family select them themselves. This was not the case whatsoever. Charley actually encouraged us to find what we thought I should try on and for family members to select dresses they wanted to see me in. Charley was very knowledgeable about what may be paired nice with in terms of my veil or if I wanted to try the dresses with sleeves. After being torn between to beautiful dresses, Charley had me stand in front of the mirror by the light away from the mini pedestal for a change in perspective. Once I did that, I absolutely fell in love with the dress and knew it was the one. After that, the ordering process was simple and was surprised at how affordable the dress was for how detailed it was. You do have to put a 75% deposit which was reasonable for me. The boutique itself is lovely, but my fitting experience was not what I hoped for. When I went back for my dress fitting, the person assigned to me seemed rushed and had a bit of an attitude. I didn't feel listened to or welcomed, which was disappointing considering this is such an important moment for brides. Maybe because she was expecting ? Idk At one point, I asked another staff member where the restroom was, and she told me -- in a very rude tone -- not to walk in front of the mirror because another bride was looking at her dress. It was common sense that I wouldn't interrupt her moment, but the way it was said made me feel embarrassed and unwelcome. After the sh*t show that happened with Bella Bridal Boutique in Thousand Oaks (purchasing a dress, it never being sent, only to discover the shop permanently closed and took a bunch of customer's money), Taylor truly saved the day. She helped me get in contact with my designer and I repurchased the dress through Ever Bridal boutique. The day I went to pick it up, I was able to try it on again and the staff was very accommodating and kind. They even let me arrive a few hours earlier than scheduled! Since I now live in New York and was only visiting CA for a short time, I was appreciative of their attentiveness and communication. I loved this boutique. Wedding dress shopping scared me a little and Charley took all of that away. My group picked a bit too many dresses and Charley laid them out for me by style. She explained how each fit and which ones she thinks I should try first. She asked if I wanted her in the changing room or just right outside which made it even more comfortable. As soon as I'd get in one she'd come in and help me zip up and close the back with clips. I never felt like a burden or that I was too big. I believe I ended up around a wedding dress size 16ish? Maybe? They never said the dress size which made it feel even better. I ended up saying yes to the dress and now I wait for it to come in. If you're a little self conscience and nervous. Don't be. Where do I start?? The shop is very easy to find, parking is great, and it is so cute inside! They have a Cinderella carriage! I kept noticing how great the music was. Their online appointment booking system was the easiest of everywhere I shopped. Cheyenne is the queen of stylists. She has the art form down-- encouraging, fun, genuine, zero pressure, made me feel amazing in everything, was great at explaining everything, she knows how to make the experience special, and she clearly enjoys helping you find the dress. From my first phone call to the shop she was so friendly and chill and understood exactly what I was looking for, and I felt so relaxed going in. She had so many good ideas for which dresses to pull based on what I liked that I ended up falling in love with a dress that was different from what I originally thought I wanted. The whole experience was so comfortable and fun. I went to several more stores but was excited to come back, had an amazing experience all over again, and I said yes to the dress! I had the best experience trying on dresses at this location. It was recommended by so many people so I decided to give it a try. This is the first and only place I went to try on wedding dresses and I found my dress here! Charlie was absolutely amazing and really listened to what I wanted and gave amazing options to choose from. On the site it said only 4 people were allowed to come with but they allowed us to have another 2 people join plus a one year old. 1.5 hours is the perfect amount of time and this space is huge. I have been to many wedding dresses shopping occasions for friends and every boutique felt very small but Ever After Bridal felt very spacious and relaxing. Wonderful customer service and top quality wedding dresses! I felt a bit lost looking at all the wedding dresses online and did not know where to begin, so I decided to go to a boutique to try on some dresses in person. I decided to try Ever After Bridal as my first stop due to its glowing Yelp review, and I am very happy to have taken the plunge. Located in Moorkpark on one of the side streets, the boutique has limited parking at the store front but other on-street parking is readily available. The store carries a lot of brand name designer wedding dresses like Justin Alexander, Rebecca Ingram and Rosa Clara. When I first arrived, Talyor greeted me warmly and asked me briefly about my preference. She then explained to me the different silhouettes and the dresses that were in sample sale, which were about 2/3 off the standard full price. I picked out a dozen dresses and Taylor was very patient in helping me fitting in all the dresses. While I tend to shop online 99% of the time, I found it extremely helpful to try on the different silhouettes in person, as I discovered I am not a huge fan of ball gowns even though they looked magical online. I also discovered fitted gowns work better with my body type while still feel comfortable for movement. My appointment was for 1.5 hour but I needed an additional 20 minutes to decide between the top 2 dresses. Taylor was very understanding and did not push any hard sales. At the end, I picked a Rosa Clara fitted gown that was on sample sale at 2/3 off. Taylor explained to me about the three rounds of alterations within 3 months of the wedding date and I am grateful she took the time to walk me through all the details. Overall, it was a wonderful experience shopping at Ever After. Taylor was super patient and extremely informative. The only things I would recommend are a) Install a mirror inside a fitting room so I do not need to walk out each time to see myself b) Keep the photo tag on how each wedding dress look on a model so customers can quickly determine train length and dress volume without trying on the dresses. My time at Ever After Bridal was nothing short of perfect. I was there over 3 weeks ago and I still think about it almost every day. Aside from the perfect dresses, Megan and Cheyenne (I think?) made the experience for me and my best friend who joined me. We laughed, cried, danced, hugged, dreamed, and reminisced together and we had just met. It truly felt like being with friends and was such a wholesome experience. Something any bride dreams of. Not only were their vibes amazing, but they both were pulling dresses for me that were so perfect it is so hard to choose. Even dresses I didn't imagine I'd like, they had a feeling and once I tried them on they each felt like they could be "the one".
