The cafe area is welcoming with seating and sunlight. But the shop has some rotten apples working behind the counter. It's too bad that the girls working here are just not nice. At all. Now, L.A. is hardly short on coffee joints, but this place was in a league of its own: cozy yet airy, beautifully decorated, with smiling faces behind the counter, a genuinely happy staff, and the delightful bonus of an attached antique store. For the past eight months, I've found myself dreaming of it--every time I step into a Starbucks back home, my mind drifts straight back to that little Tyrone haven: the inviting outdoor area, the peaceful hush as you walk in, the comfortable seating, the quiet hum of contentment. There's something almost ineffable about it. I'm now seriously planning to move down there, and if I do, this place will absolutely become a mainstay of my daily routine. Is it odd to be this fixated on a coffee shop? I honestly don't know--but I am, and in my dreams it looks just as beautiful as it did in person ..
