This 'artsy' foyer ( entrance ) with 30 ft black ceilings and 90s painted over black plastic plumbing was empty when I arrived for the 1 hour $89 plus tax massage, which began with having both my swollen left and bulging bluish purple veins of my right foot squeezed into a small plastic bowl lined with a plastic bag of warm water and ' Meghan ' suddenly Telling me , " you are very loud ! Stop Talking " I am not a ' loud ' person and I didn't notice that another ' Cu$tomer' was seated 15 ft away from me behind one of their Arabian Nights Veil 'curtains' Most professional massage clinics have seperate rooms not thin black veils as 'walls' I 'should have left at that moment, but as ' Meghan's already took my credit card number over the phone 2 hours before my appointment and not after it, and as Jackie is a kind caring person and lightened her massage when I said that my neck felt too much. This 'oasis' foot website isn't working properly either and it didn't accept the happyhour20 discount I will not return to this place of 'bu$ine$S' that overcharges $200 - $300 for ' Swedish massages' that are apparently light touch 'massages' with clothes on.

Most of our go-to spots were already fully booked for the weekend, so we were open to trying somewhere new. There is a parking garage directly beneath the massage studio, but be aware of nearby events, especially at Rogers Arena. We ended up paying a steep flat rate of $50 for all-day parking because of an event, so I recommend allowing extra time to find more affordable options if you're visiting on a busy day. The space itself is fairly small. As you walk in, there is a station for foot massages on the right, and a couple small private rooms toward the back. We were shown to one of those private rooms for our session. My husband and I both enjoy deep tissue massages with strong pressure, and this place delivered. The massage was excellent. In fact, it was one of the best we've had. The pressure was exactly what we were looking for (we like "it hurts so good" pressure), and the price was incredibly reasonable. We were glad we brought cash for tipping, as the credit card system didn't include a tip option. Overall, I would highly recommend this spot for a deep tissue massage. The value was fantastic, and we were really impressed with the experience. $314 for a 90-minute couples massage felt like a great deal, especially for the level of care we received.

The therapist was skilled and able to find the tension located in my problem areas, that required immediate attention. I feel decompressed. The tension I was carrying subsided and the range of motion in my neck has improved. I really feel the difference from when I arrived. You'll have to follow Covid Protocol which ensures the safety of yourself and the practitioner. I absolutely love the Gastown studio, very bright with and modern in a historic building gives it some charm. I'll definitely book again with Brenley. The parking has spots across the street and will run you about 5$ for an hour and half. Lots of little lunch and coffee spots close by to grab some nosh after your treatment!
