My wife also loved shopping at Torrid. She's happy to have her favorite store close to home. Inside the mall we were practically the only people on a Monday afternoon. The mall was clean and some of the businesses seemed to be closed. After reading the other reviews, it seems like the mall is going to have a big change and redesign! I'm excited for what's to come and to see the big changes in the next year or so. Must be why some of the store locations are vacant. They are getting ready for the construction. My wife loves all the changes on the outside of the mall and loves the movie theater, Ulta, Home Goods, Chic Fil A, Trader Joe's, and others. We will be back soon and look forward to the changes inside the mall.

The store is super clean, organized, and honestly feels like a little theme park for collectors. There's a huge variety of Pops and exclusives, plus a build-your-own Funko area that's really cute and creative. The staff was friendly, helpful, and patient, even with how busy it gets. Bitty pops cost the same as a regular and you get 4 bitties in one pack. $6.99 for the ones that come with vehicles or just a small figurine. Unfortunately, did not check costs for clothing nor bags/backpacks. Overall, still recommend, but keep in mind of the prices. We found a couple online stores that are selling some of these funkos at a cheaper price.

I saw some items I hadn't seen in a while, and there was ample things to look through, including some old video game accessories I hadn't seen in years! While quaint and has a lot of cool things to see, it's still definitely a second-hand store, and has a bit of a grime feel to it. Probably should keep some hand sanitizer at the ready when done. I didn't find anything that called out enough for me to purchase, so I can't speak to the staff or service there. From what I saw though they appeared friendly. We bought 3 shirts while visiting that were labeled as Large, but they are either a women's L or a Unisex Medium. Definitely disappointed since we wont be back to Whidby for another year, so returning them is not an option. For a $27 t-shirt, I would hope the could at least label the sizes correctly. Hopefully they can properly re-label their current stock going forward.
