We visited the mall for the first time today. We were shocked to find an arcade in the mall! The toy store Whimsy was so cool. Well stocked with lots of games and toys. My wife also loved shopping at Torrid. She's happy to have her favorite store close to home. Inside the mall we were practically the only people on a Monday afternoon. The mall was clean and some of the businesses seemed to be closed. After reading the other reviews, it seems like the mall is going to have a big change and redesign! I'm excited for what's to come and to see the big changes in the next year or so. Must be why some of the store locations are vacant. They are getting ready for the construction. My wife loves all the changes on the outside of the mall and loves the movie theater, Ulta, Home Goods, Chic Fil A, Trader Joe's, and others. We will be back soon and look forward to the changes inside the mall. read more

I've been going to this mall regularly for 24 years, but every time I go lately I think I really should stop. I'm mostly here for the movie theater these days, but currently disappointed that you can no longer enter the mall from the back doors over by the movie theater. I liked having the option of going early for a movie, getting a bite to eat at the food court and getting some shopping done if I had time to kill, but now it seems like I have to drive around to a different parking area if I am not interested in walking around the perimeter of the mall. There does seem to be a sign about plans to change this area in the future, but right now its a huge hassle. I'm hoping that the addition of Trader Joes brings more back into the mall, but at this point there seems to be less and less every time I go. I also am always confused when malls add grocery stores. If you do not know it is not possible to enter the all thru Trader Joes. I counted 4 open things in the nearly empty food court on my most recent visit. None of them are very appetizing if you are here for a meal, but there is still Buffalo Wild Wings. I think I was sitting in the food court mostly alone at 6ish on a Monday. Looks like the nail place closed too. I've also been disappointed by the mall hours on recent visits, but I guess with so much empty it's probably hard to justify keeping prepandemic hours. Most of my favorite shops have left. I can not believe Bath and Body Works left the mall and is now located over by Target. I guess that makes my current favorite stores Burlington and Old Navy. I do see that some empty stores are now offering spaces for karate like sports, which does seem to be a good idea. There also are a couple arcades that seem like an interesting addition. There is plenty of parking, but if you are looking for a shopping excursion I'd head to Alderwood or check out the stores located on the outer perimeter which is not located close to any entrances to the actual mall. read more

We went to go look at rugs at the International Rugs and Blankets store that showed up on Google Maps, but that store is long closed and gone. There are only a couple of kiosks serving in the food court, the Hot Topic is closed with stuff still filling the shop, and countless others are fully cleaned out and vacant. This mall is a shell of its former glory, however it does have a small arcade again (which is the reason for the second star.) read more

From outside it looks like a nice cool new mall. But inside its outdated and not many stores. Its a descent mall.

I tend to only come to this mall for events now, because it's very much so a dying spot. Most businesses are out of there from childhood, whether they've been replaced or went bankrupt, so most of the slots are empty & desolate. The food court was once full of various foods, now only being a food caddies. There's a few chain stores, but nothing that you really can't find at alderwood mall. Sadly Everett mall is very dirty, & makes my skin crawl to walk into, feel unsafe stepping into it. The most recent event I went to here was the witch's event which was held in one of the empty stores, which, was very cool ! Besides that, I take my business to Bellevue but mainly alderwood mall now. It's nice to see that Everett does try to hold events or tries to decorate for the holidays, but it doesn't help hold a reputation. I have been shopping at the Everett Mall for 40 years and when I went into the mall I had to walk around to the front entrance after go to the Regal movie theater and it's just dead so many stores have left and I had to walk to T-mobile at least it's not that too far and I heard they are taking out the Everett Mall bus station as well as LA Fitness to put in an outdoor stores like Alderwood Mall has so we need to vote out Cassie Franklin she has gone too far this time and I'm worried that the mall will close or become a ghost mall! read more

Limited stores, some empty. Worthwhile for a stroll if bored. Food court is nice and has a handful of selections. There are still some staple stores in here for some. Fairly clean but a little sad to see low foot traffic and empty/closed stores. Buffalo Wild Wings, Best Buy and Marshalls are near by so those round out the overall. *laughs* This mall is so depressing! I come here because I'm a member of Massage Envy, and it's located in the Everett Mall. But I'm not shitting you, I haven't been to this mall ONCE when it's been even remotely packed. Not even during Christmas! It doesn't help that there are no decent stores. And the food court SUCKS! It's almost laughable to watch people try to figure out what to eat there. Ugh. I think the mall from "Dawn of the Dead" had more people in it...and that was during a zombie apocalypse! They have a fairly new Ultra beauty store attached in the front on the side they have a Buffalo Wild Wings, on he back of the mall is beautify built a Regal Cinema. So cute!! Very clean and well kept, had a fun couple of hours there! Even though it's small, there is a good variety, had a hard time choosing what to get for lunch because everything looked great! Everett Mall is an unusual case. The place isn't all that big. The food court is tolerable. The stores are okay. But why would you want to come here when Alderwood in Lynnwood is so much better? There's just no comparison. Everett Mall is somewhat interesting, but only if you have nowhere else to go. Alderwood is more upscale and generally the one I would prefer to visit. This place is much emptier, although maybe that can be a good thing. Too much of a crowd can be annoying sometimes, and the bright side is that you likely won't have any issue trying to find a parking space here. read more

Oh Everett Mall, how you try so hard to be a real mall like all the others. Given the fact that you are the only stop between Lynnwood and the desert wasteland that is the Cascade Mall, you should be trying harder to bring in people. When we go there, which isn't frequent anymore, the parking lot is often fairly packed, and yet there doesn't seem to be anyone walking around the inside. We saw that there was a new escape room in the mall (where the old comic shop used to be I think), and when we walked by, looked like it was blacked out and taped over. The food court is mediocre at best, the same old drudge that you find everywhere else. This place needs some serious TLC. Anyone have the number of Ty Pennington so we can make this place over in an extreme manner? read more

It's true that the Everett Mall doesn't have a ton of stores, and it is usually pretty empty, but frankly it is the lack of crowds that makes me love it! You can walk around leisurly and window shop, etc. without feeling like you are in the middle of a herd of cattle. It does have many of the usual stores (Macy's, Victoria's Secret, Foot Locker, etc) but also has a few great local/speciality stores like the toy store. The toy store is amazing. I ONLY go there for toys when my kids have a birthday party. Parking is relatively easy, the food court is nice and the entire mall is clean and walkable. There is a nice little kiddie play area that toddlers love too. Cheap thrills. For people who are not there for the regular mall scene (ie--teenagers) this is a great place to do your shopping. read more

[30 in 30 #30!] I am really surprised this mall is still in business. REALLY surprised. With Alderwood Mall not too far to the south and the Seattle Premium Outlets to the north, I see no reason why anyone would conceive a trip here as worthwhile. They've updated the theater, added some extraneous stores and restaurants around the parking lot but to be completely honest, it just isn't cutting it. The most exciting thing about this place is the exit-way. When you show up at a mall in the middle of a Saturday and you can practically here conversations from the other end of the mall because it's so barren, you know there's a problem. When you don't recognize half the stores in a mall (really, aren't they all usually the same?), that's a problem. When the Macy's is only a pint-size of any in the greater Seattle area, that's a problem. I also hate going to the theater here because on multiple occasions (multiple!) I've come out with some kid sitting on my car, or leaning against it, or somehow blocking me into my parking spot. What on earth? There's a dirty, dark feel about this place no matter the store and as much as I try to give it a chance hoping I'll finally find a silver lining, it falls short. Sorry, Everett Mall. read more

What a profoundly depressing "mall." We came here for the first time today to check it out and also to have a place to walk around since it was so cold outside. That's about all this place is good for--a place to take a walk inside. The stores were either closing, closed, or completely... odd (like the store called "Wishes," which had a few sorry aisles of merchandise in the massive old space that apparently used to be a large bookstore). I've never seen so many going-out-of-business stores in one place. Sad. read more

I went to the Everett Mall with no expectations. I just needed to get some basic pajamas. They have all the normal shops, with Macy's, Sears, Old Navy, etc. I found a Spencers, a Hot Topic, and a hippi magic store called the Magical Garden, I think. It was clean, and filled with soccer mom's, and normal shoppers. Just a normal wholesome mall. In my case, a normal mall was what I was looking for. I found shoes, and clothes for the hubby, and PJs, and slippers for me. As a bonus, there is a Bed, Bath, & Beyond, a mega petstore, and one of the coolest hobby shops I have ever seen, on the south side of the mall outside. I didn't see any of the nasty elements that the other poster was talking about. I certainly never heard any shots fired, or saw anything more sinister than a few alternative teens, that were probably looking for the Hot Topic, or Spencers. read more

Enough to get any shopping done and some really good deals to boot. Wanted to say that if you are hungry this food court has two really great options, Babylon and Garlic Jim's pizza. As an east coaster I am way picky about my pizza this is the large slice at reasonable prices I grew up with. Quality sauce with that hint of sweetness, perfect dough rolled out to that thin crisp loveliness that we adore. The crust is crisp, the inside is pillowy and the cheese is quality. All in All when I am homesick it does the trick! Babylon is so fresh and unique and at great prices. That family is so kind and really know their stuff, if you like gyro, falafel, lamb just go. This mall is small and I find I pass by it to go to the larger Alderwood Mall. Even though it's new, the Burlington already feels a bit junky. The Macys is pretty tiny compared to other Macys, too. And the Sears seems to be going the way of most Sears. So, unless you just want to pop into a mall food court or visit the Wishes toy store (which is now hidden inside the mall thanks to Party City taking its place) and the small play area, it's not really worth stopping in. read more

I've been going to the Everett mall since the 80's, so I've seen it go through a lot of changes. All in all, it's a great place to come and get a taste of south Everett. Lots of cool shopping, should be something for just about anyone. Nice new theater and just across the street from Half Price Books and Toys R Us. Be prepared, lots of idle teenagers hanging around trying to look cool... can't hate on them too much because I used to be one of them. Otherwise pretty cool place. read more

Everett Mall isn't as ghetto as it use to be. I shopped here last week when they first opened. The old men were drinking cofee from Ivar's discussing when to meet up for BINGO. Of course the first sight I had upon entering the mall was a homeless bum gazing at the ceiling. The mall was very quite during my shopping adventure except when I made my way towards As Seen On TV Store, the cellphone punk trying to earn my business by asking to see my cellphone. I told him no. I find that annoying along with the people in almost every mall solicitating that dead sea crap. If I want to stop by a kiosk, TRUST ME I will. It is definitely worth the 30 minute drive to Alderwood where there will be an abundance of shopping. The only good thing about this mall was the fact that there was an Ivars Seafood but that didn't help much either because they closed down 30 minutes before closing time and the clam chowder was the only thing they were serving and it was cold. read more

I have been going to the Everett Mall since as far as I can remember. GHETTO. They have the usual department stores: Macy's, Sears... THATS it. They have little cheap jewelry shops with names like "Gordon's Jewelers" or "Harry Ritchie's Jewelers"... That's pretty lame. Oh did I mention a store called Treasure Island? It's a junky little place. The mall has a little food court. With 3/5 restaurants I know. I'm very disappointed. When my friends and I go there, it takes us about an hour to go through all four sections of the mall. The only plus to this place is that it's close to my high school, so after school we can all just go there and make a ruckus and have some FUN... if any. This place has been trying to pull itself together for so many years. It's had Macy's Old Navy, and Sears, but can't seem to secure a solid anchor store to bring people in and clean up the area. They would never get a Nordstrom, Kohls, can't even get a JCPenny (not that I would shop there). They have a lot of junky stores, or stores I would never bother with. The employees in most of the stores are rude, too many mall "rats". Definitely not a place you'd want to go to shop for the day or hang out. It's like the Alderwood Mall's little sibling that lost its way. The drop out that sells drugs on the corner trying to stay alive. (TJ Maxx, Pet Smart, Best Buy, etc). Every once in a while it tries to go thru rehab and clean up its act....but it never seems to fail that it ends up right back at the bottom. This mall is awesome! New to the area here and this mall is a life send! It's always busy but the people are so friendly. Also great selection of stores and restaurants! Very clean, well maintained, easy access, lots of close by stores, friendly people, and great hours. I've lived in many states and seen many malls. This one is very nice, clean, and modern. There is nothing wrong with the Everett Mall! Ignore the negativity that most of these reviewers are bringing to the table. They have a decent number of stores in the mall as well as some stores like Rue 21 that cannot be found at other malls! The lines are certainly shorter than that of other malls in the area. There is also a bunch of parking to a point where I never have trouble finding a spot. The guest services are really friendly the people at the mall are or the most part friendly and the stores are doing their best to survive people not enough people are going to the Everett mall and giving it a chance. A real shame because I think this mall has some real potential if only more people can look past some of the drawbacks of the mall which are not having some of the premium stores like American Eagle, H&M and Brookestone. There is also am awesome Regal theater next to the mall which also has a lot of parking and movie times to fit most people's schedules. There is also a LA Fitness that is connected to the mall but is not accessible from the inside. In addition there is a Best Buy, Bed Bath & Body Works, Sleep Country USA, TJ Max, Hobby Town USA, Petco, and Subway to the right of the mall. It is close to I5 which makes it easy to get on and off the freeway and there are a bunch of other businesses across the street, too many to name. The mall itself has received much upgrades and remodeling from local funding and other projects are making the mall look better an better every pasting year! Overall this mall is a very important aspect of the Everett Area and to the people of Everett and should be treated such as. I peter going to this mall over the Alderwood mall and Northgate mall, it is not depressing, it's a awesome place to spend time with your friends or someone special because its a special place to begin with.
