I waited months to see if there was an ounce of follow through with Jamila Mainor. I do not…read morerecommend her as any part of your health team. This was one of my first appointments trying to get back on track with my health after suffering a miscarriage. She is exactly the type of doctor that I dreaded finding, that she would make me not want to seek help. While explaining myself I ended up crying, obviously embarrassed, I tried to pull myself together. But it really got to the point that after a few minutes I had to ask her for a tissue because they were right behind her head. It was strange to me that someone in healthCARE clearly didn't care. She supposedly sent out a referral that then was noted as, "waiting on patient." When I went to a new clinic they mentioned never having seen that note on charts and were unsure of what it meant. I would have preferred she simply not take me on as a patient than to be treated that way. It was not a pleasant experience. Even in her email regarding lab results she referred to me as, "she" and "your." Impersonal, unprofessional, no follow up, and uncomfortable. Don't do it.
