My children and I have been going to this clinic for years, we started back when they were still owned Beth McQuinn. For the most part, all the doctors that we've seen have been amazing, the exceptions being a few times that my children's visits were not recorded correctly and still have yet to be fixed even though I still have the documentation from those visits. Before they became Stay Well Family Medicine and moved to Colby, they were on Broadway and their support staff were always warm and friendly, responsive to patient questions and concerns, and proactive at problem-solving any issues brought to their attention. Now, however, since they've become Stay Well Family Medicine, their support staff leaves an immense amount of quality customer service to be desired. Case in point: I logged into our patient portal through Charm yesterday to double check my children's appointment times for their well-child checks, and noticed that my daughter's name was spelled incorrectly, and it was not reflecting that she's been seen since 2019. So I called, which happened to be after hours, and left a voicemail with my concerns, asking about the issue that I noticed. I received a call back today from their front desk lady, I don't recall her name. But by the sound of her voice, she's the regular receptionist for them. She let me know that on her side she can see that my daughter has an appointment and wasn't sure why I can't see it on my side and proceeded to tell me that I need to call Charm to ask them why. I respectfully voiced my concern about asking the patient to call on an issue that has to do with their tech since I've worked at a health clinic before it is never the patient's responsibility to call tech-support to ask about a tech issue, that it is the clinic's responsibility to do (please bare in mind, I was truly kind, not just a perspective thing: calm voice, kind words, didn't raise my tone. Since I've been on the other side, I get communication with a disgruntled patient/parent can be challenging, so I was as gentle as I could be with my concerns). I acknowledged to her that I understand it's not her fault but I would request that they look into it please and let me know what's going on - if there was some kind of an issue with the records not being uploaded into my daughters chart. I voiced concern about not seeing her records and that s been an issue in the past too. I didn't even get the chance to ask her about the spelling of the name before the receptionist cut me off saying it wasn't their job to do it and passed me off to a doctor because she got so frustrated with the conversation with me. I then spoke to Dr. blow who looked into it - turns out it was the spelling of my daughter's name. Dr Blow sent me a new link to get the problem fixed, which was thankfully an easy resolution. I thanked her and said I appreciate that she helped me problem solve through it. and also attempted to acknowledge again that I understood it wasn't her receptionist's fault this happened, however I don't feel that it was my responsibility to have to call Charm to fix it. Dr Blow then proceeded to snap at me that "not everybody has the same tech talents as other people and so it doesn't fall to them to problem solve tech-support, that's the patient's responsibility" and then she wouldn't even let me talk after that and said "well, we'll see you next Tuesday. Thanks so much for calling. Have a great day, bye." I was dumbfounded. Unfortunately even though we love the doctor that we normally see, Dr. Sambrano, and have been seeing her for several years now, based on this experience, which has been horrible, it seems like we're going to end up having to find a different naturopathic clinic to go to. If they can fix their customer service Issues this would be a great clinic to be seen at. Sadly, with the current way they're treating patients, I can't recommend it any longer to family and friends. read more

A doctor without any knowledge of the benefits of plants for healing is like a carpenter who only has a hammer. Every once in a while there is a nail and the hammer will work perfectly but for everything else a hammer will not work so well no matter how hard they swing it. This was the first time I have been to a doctor in which I felt like they actually knew what they were talking about. Having a full tool belt makes quit a difference. read more

BEST Dr ever! Our entire family uses Dr. Sambrano. Of course we all have dramatically different personalities and health issues. She has made each of us feel comfortable and found unique, effective health plans for each of us. I have never felt more comfortable with my health plan and am in the best shape of my life dispute a few health issues she is helping me manage through. We joined the McQuinn family after our previous "holistic" pediatric provider was pushy and rude about forcing injections on our daughter who is mthfr positive. I can't say enough positive things about this staff and facility. I only wish we found them sooner and could take them with us when we move for my husbands work. I became a patient of Dr. McQuinn when I sought some assistance loosing extra weight. I did the HCG diet program (which is not the highly commercialized ultra low calorie program) that she offers, and lost weight. I am personally not a fan of the diet, but ended up with Dr. McQuinn as my PCP anyway. She listens to my concerns and goals, and gives me options to obtain them in a healthy manner. Her office staff is lively and kind, and they always remember details about me and my family. I have recommended her services to 4 highly satisfied friends, and will continue to recommend her. The only negative point that I can come up with is that sometimes I feel that I don't need all of the supplements that are offered, but it is a moot point, because she doesn't push them at me anyways. I went to McQuinn to receive HCG and had the worst service. 1. They over charged for the visit 2. The doctor never followed up with me. 3. I called to see if someone would call me back as i needed to see how to finish with my HCG. 4. No one called back for one week as I had to call back and at this point Dr. McQuinn received my call and asked what i would like to do at the point. The doctor I had been seeing had left the practice. Dr McQuinn said I see from your chart you are into the HCG for one month and I replied i have been on this for three months. I have been to McQuinn Naturopathic a couple of times for Acupuncture from Dr. Duarte, and HIGHLY recommend him. I left my first appointment completely PAIN FREE, something I hadn't experienced in over months. I walked into my next appointment stressed and tense, so he recommended we focus on relaxation. After about 15 minutes on table I was asleep, and left so relaxed I almost felt like I shouldn't drive home! Lengthy but HONEST review of my experience. The vet and all others claiming hidden fees are right and I experienced the same. I was referred to this clinic by a family friend. I have had trouble figuring out why I can't lose weight so after seeing my normal pcp and a nutritionist I decided to check this clinic out. They tell you before your 1st appt. to call your insurance and verify coverage. I did this and made sure I mentioned to my insurance that it was a naturopath. I had covered benefits so I had my first appt. Right away blood work was drawn. At first they seem caring and say they look for the root cause to help you. Fast forward 3 months, 4 supplements (expensive ones they sell), and after 3 visits at this clinic the dr. tells me "your body is resisting, I don't know why and it isn't fair." So much for digging to find the root cause of the problem, more like here spend all this money and I'll give you no better information than the many professionals before. At my last appt. I also mentioned to the dr. that I received a bill for the lab work. She stated that sometimes it's just that they need to add additional codes and to let her know if this was the case and she would add them, not a problem. So I did this, I called my insurance company to verify why they denied my blood work resulting in me receiving a $1600+ bill. Later a 2nd bill came. My insurance confirmed that the codes the dr. used were not covered codes, as well as 3 claims being submitted for blood work (I had blood drawn 1 time). I sent the dr a message through the portal letting her know that I would in fact need her to do as she said she would and add those codes. The response I got from the dr was that I was mistaking a bill for an EOB (I have worked in healthcare for 4 years, specifically insurance; as well as having a current WA state insurance license. I was not mistaking a bill for an EOB). I responded letting her know that this was incorrect, it was a bill and I needed her to hold up to her word and make it right (adding the additional codes in). The next response I got was - "you need to refer all billing questions to the billing department, oh and I checked your account, we still haven't received payment for you visit." This right here was the icing on the cake with the unprofessional standards this clinic holds, and I will NEVER recommend them to anyone, in fact I will share my experience. I wrote the billing department regarding my concerns and am waiting to hear back. If this clinic follows their word then I will update my review, but until then and as of this moment they are frauds that provide you no better info than your normal dr would and are after thousands of dollars of your hard earned money, even if you have covered insurance. read more

Very knowledgeable, with a warm personality and heart to match. He is thorough, and really takes his time to understand our concerns and provide thoughtful, holistic care. He was so kind and gentle with both me and my three year old daughter, and he even spent extra time with us on a Saturday to listen to my concerns and help us. He's a Bastyr graduate, and his exceptional knowledge and education really shines through. Because of Dr. Morlan, we are on our way to better health and feeling our best. I went to McQuinn a few years ago and liked the doctor well enough, even though I always had long waits, but the office staff was not friendly and couldn't figure out billing. Basically, I wanted to pay up front after each visit and, because of some archaic billing practices they used, that was not an option. The office staff made me feel like I was being obnoxious and weren't easy to work with, so I canceled future appointments and decided I wouldn't be going back here. No hard feelings, their business just wasn't for me. Now, several years later, I am still on their phone list and, with the COVID-19 epidemic, I have been getting multiple daily phone calls and texts trying to recruit me for their online services. In all of their calls and texts they keep sharing a contact number so I have tried calling several times, during office hours, to request that they remove me from their message lists, but I keep getting a recording rather than a live person. Why are they so adamant that I have their phone number if no one is going to answer the phone? I get that many people aren't working right now and am understanding of that, but then why are the spamming me with their phone number? There is also no option to unsubscribe from their updates via text. Basically, I just find their business practices extremely annoying and some of the treatments they offer to be sketchy. It's too bad they are so eager to communicate with me but don't have an option for me to communicate back with them. I bought a groupon for 15 "buckshot" injections. Having gotten b12/lipotropic injections at the last place we lived I was excited to start losing weight again. I have not lost any weight. I have not talked with a doctor there, and have not been asked how it was working at all. I make appointments and the doctor is 15-20 minutes late even though there is no one else in the waiting area. I also have made appointments on their patient portal. They don't get back to you to confirm the appointment and it turns out is because they don't even know how to use it! I only have a few shots left, and I will not be returning to this office when they are done. read more

This is a great local clinic, with helpful staff and a very knowledgeable ND. The first appointment is as thorough as it gets about your medical history. Also, I really appreciate how Dr McQuinn is willing and encouraging of me to do little things that make a difference in everyday health, but in a evidence based treatment plan that still allows you to track progress in your health, so I didn't feel lame about the stuff she had me do. Her prices aren't as high as it is for me to see a specialist as well so she can provide a good second opinion if I'd like one. And since the atmosphere is so welcoming it's easy to continue going to her from time to time for little check ups and other health issues after my original one was addressed. If you don't have insurance in this economy, she's a great place to get affordable preventative healthcare, and if you do have insurance, she spends more time with patients per appointment than my regular MD, so it's still a better bargain : ) I predict she will grow and not have much room for new patients the longer she's in private practice, so I'm glad I got in early!! read more

Im a disabled veteran who fought 3 tours. And almost died for my country. I came to this clinic to have testosterone tested. After lots of hidden fees I paid close to 400 dollars. But a month later to get a bill from in the mail. Quest Diagnostics stating I owe close to 500 for test results. This place is crooked and dishonest. My advice would be to run away while you can. Unless your willing to throw your money away. And never get any help or results. Do your research don't get burned by these clowns. read more

I recently had to cancel an appointment with Dr.McQuinn. I called 4 hours prior to the appoinment. I spoke to two different people in the office in the process of rescheduling the appoinment. There is also no mention of a cancellatin fee on my appointment card or on their website. I do not think I will bother with the next appoinment. It doesn't seem like the kind of place I want to take my business. They could have at least informed me that there would be a $50 dollar charge since I spoke with two people in the office prior to the cancellation (including Dr. Mcquinn) read more
