I waited months to see if there was an ounce of follow through with Jamila Mainor. I do not recommend her as any part of your health team. This was one of my first appointments trying to get back on track with my health after suffering a miscarriage. She is exactly the type of doctor that I dreaded finding, that she would make me not want to seek help. While explaining myself I ended up crying, obviously embarrassed, I tried to pull myself together. But it really got to the point that after a few minutes I had to ask her for a tissue because they were right behind her head. It was strange to me that someone in healthCARE clearly didn't care. She supposedly sent out a referral that then was noted as, "waiting on patient." When I went to a new clinic they mentioned never having seen that note on charts and were unsure of what it meant. I would have preferred she simply not take me on as a patient than to be treated that way. It was not a pleasant experience. Even in her email regarding lab results she referred to me as, "she" and "your." Impersonal, unprofessional, no follow up, and uncomfortable. Don't do it. read more

I was charged a no-show fee despite cancelling the day before. I contacted them once by phone and left a message and 2-3 times via My Chart. I never got a response. Every time I got a bill, I contacted them. After 5 months they reduced the fee from $75 to $25. I don't owe them anything! I was sent to collections and wrote a mailed letter explaining the situation. Yesterday, I received a bill with multiple charges, no dates for them and $47 interest on the original $75. I now owe almost $400!!!! I've been going to the Everett Clinic for over 20 years. I am DONE and they'll NEVER get a penny from me. read more

THey don't allow auto-payments on your bill but they also won't send mychart, email or phone notifications for reminders or any warning outside a snail mail notification before sending you to collections. So if you don't have a secure mailbox, you will have no indication until it's too late to stop it. Simply, you must remember to pay each month. Even if you show up in person for an appointment, they won't notify you're being/been sent to collections. read more

I had no issues getting care here, doctors and nurses were great. Billing on the other hand has been a nightmare. My wife is also a patient here and they have no issues billing our insurance for her care but they could not figure out how to do the same for me (even though we have the same insurance and I'm the primary). I tried 3-4 times working with their billing department to try and figure out the issue only to be left hanging with the prospect of being sent to collections. Everyone in the billing department was nice and polite, they just couldn't get it right. Ultimately I'm paying a bill I shouldn't have to and left trying to deal with the insurance billing on my own because Everett Clinic couldn't figure it out. I'd suggest you look somewhere else for a provider, the good care isn't worth the headache on the billing side. read more

First off, when I called to make an appointment, AFTER they verified who I had for insurance, they set me up with a DR who DID NOT accept my insurance. Then when I got a bill they refused to help me because "you should have made sure the DR was in your network" after fighting with them over it for months I said fine but I would need to make payments on the bill. They set me up with a payment plan but refuse to send any bills outside of an electronic format. Then I was a day late on paying my bill (my bad), so I made a double payment. When I went to look later to make a payment it said $0.00 due. I assumed I paid off the bill. Not the case. The day after they supposedly sent a bill in the mail, they sent me to collections, hence the zero due. 2 years later and I get contacted by Armada collections (who is terrible but that's another story) Long story to say be warned in many respects. Check that if they recommend a DR to you, that DR is in your insurance. Second, if you owe them money, Pay it immediately because they will send you to collections the day after you are late on a bill. Worst company I have ever dealt with and will never go there again in my life. Even if I were bleeding in their parking lot, I would crawl to a different Dr's office before setting foot in the Everett clinic again. read more

Early appointments available, the staff is always friendly and welcoming. Not the easiest place to find if you're not familiar with the area, but a nice spot none the less. As with all doctor's offices, they can sometimes run behind which can be frustrating, but the staff does check in and let you know that there is a delay. My only complaint is when things are behind and you are checked on, it still took quite some time for the doctor to come in. The fact it is an Everett Clinic and I can share my records without having to request them is nice. That way no matter which EC I go to, I am always taken care of! read more

One of the worst call centers I've ever dealt with. The staff calls.. leaves a vm to call back. You call back and they have no way to transfer you to the staff at that location. So you end up driving to speak to them bc they can get them on the phone. What CEO or director runs a ship like this. 2 star overall review. What an ungodly SLOW..... process even if you have ripped your nail off & are bleeding. Checked in at 9:45 & still here at 12pm.& the doctor just came in. Prior, a nurse came in, cleaned the wound & had my wife apply pressure for a solid 1.5 hours!!!! The doctor seems confused as if it was her first day of work. Not sure when we will leave. I went to the online check in at 6:30 AM this morning to see if by chance, they would let me sign in to reserve my walk in Spot. Already at 6:30 AM before they opened it said I had a two hour wait. I called the Everett clinic and was told they're waiting time is only 23 minutes for the Lake Stevens office!!! . If I had known that I would have shown up at 7 AM and been the first or second in line to see a doctor. The appointment time that was available was at 8:46 AM online. Obviously that was not the truth! In addition to having to tell my boss I would be late, which was horrible, I have been sitting in the doctors office as I am writing this and it's now 9:21 a.m., I still have not seen a doctor!!!! One of the last times I was here they forgot about me in the room and left me in there for over an hour after me having chest and arm pains I do not recommend the Everett Clinic Lake Stevens branch as when they say they are available is not truthful and they stick you in a room thinking you're going to be seen soon when it's just another room to wait for long periods of time read more

My 6 month old has been battling a fever so as any good parent should we took her to the walk in clinic to be seen by a doctor. Not only did they make us go wait out in the car, they told us we would not be able to enter the building through the main entrance but instead would have to walk around to the back of the building and enter through the back door. This clinic is a train wreck. The quality of care is extremely poor and they are unable to correctly process basic cases. I went in yesterday with a hand injury. I expected x-rays and a hand splint. Two hours later, the doctor is unable to read the x-rays or explain the diagnosis and aftercare. The secretary did the splint and it was obvious she had not done one before. They scheduled me for follow-up appointments without explaining why or asking for my consent. They did not provide me with access to the online chart system. There is no email address to contact and the phone number does not have voicemail. I was in six months ago with a fever and upper respiratory infection, assuming they could manage to write a $10 antibiotics prescription, but the nurse kept trying to upsell me a pap smear and vaccines, both contraindicated by high fever, also wtf? read more

So I go in with 100 degree temperature. I informed them I only need a note for my employer and I dont need any drugs. All they want to do is push a covid test up my nose. Doctors have been mediocre - the walk in and internal medicine/family practice not giving a whole lot of thought to their answers and recommendations. Feels like they're trying to run through and get to the next patient but they will require follow ups for EVERYTHING. Feels like they just want to be able to bill you for as much as possible and not actually resolve the problem. Then you won't come back right? Wait times for a scheduled appointment can be 45 minutes. There's and extremely rude receptionist, A*ne, that can also screw up your visit. If you're able to avoid her I would! If you have to call, hold times are generally over 10 minutes even just to schedule. The only department I've been to without complaint and with doctors that actually seem to listen and care is in Pediatrics. I wish I could rate them separately, especially Dr Wu who is amazing. read more

Waited two hours, walked up front to check out because of waiting too long, after talking to the clerk for 30 secs, then the doctor happens to be ready to see me. I went here years again, tore a ligament in my ankle. Looking back they should have never accepted my case and referred me to a specialist. I never was told about physical therapy or possible surgery. They were too ignorant to know my case was out of their league. I called to schedule an appointment for a vaccination. I was told over the phone that i could receive this through the walk in clinic. When i walked in , the receptionist informed me i could not do this that i would need to make an appointment. When i asked to make an appointment she seemed irritated and told me it could cost up to 240 dollars. She never asked me if i had insurance, which i did. I didn't feel as if i was being treated as a person, i felt like an inconvenience. I don't feel that money should be an issue when treating patients. There is always a way. I am a RN so I tend to be extra critical of other healthcare professionals. Yesterday the doctor was particularly exceptional at the walk in clinic. Andrew Richter, MD had an amazing bedside manner. He was patient. He sat down to talk to my husband and I eye to eye. He was thorough, intelligent, respectful, and kind. So much so I looked him up later to see if he is a family practice Dr accepting new patients to have him as my PCP, but sadly he only does urgent care. The RN was also wonderful, I forget his name. At the end of my visit he asked for feedback on how he did which I thought was wonderful for him to show that he cared about our encounter and about self improvement. read more

Recently due to COVID19, the Everett Clinic has split which sites will see patients with cough/cold/flu symptoms. I live in Lake Stevens and they won't see patients with those issues. They hand out a flyer and send you away to another town. Yesterday I showed up for a rash due to a medication reaction and was turned away. The prior weekend my husband and daughter went there for cough and sniffles. It was the first day they were dividing clinics and we didn't know. The greeter outside screened us and masked my daughter and husband (I'm symptom free). Then she let us walk inside (didn't mention the clinic split). The lady at reception re-asked us screening questions and had me mask up. She registered my husband and daughter in the system and didn't mention the clinic split. Then an MA roomed us and asked the screening questions again, THEN told us about the clinic split and gave us their flyer and turned us away. So my advice is DON'T go to Everett Clinic walk-in for Lake Stevens. It will probably be a huge waste of your time. read more

Long time patient... but no more. Showed up for appointment paid copay and waited 20 mins to be told Doc was running late and would be another 45 mins. Rescheduled, came in for rescheduled appointment 2 days later and sat in the exam room for 25 mins before Doc comes in. 3rd time was today. Checked in, sat for 30 mins past appointment time in the waiting room and then was told before going into the exam room that the Doc still had not seen the person in front of me and would be another 20 mins. Waited almost 2 hours to be seen by a doctor for the flu. After waiting in my car and receiving a phone call to answer more questions they had about vax status etc...they finally get me to a room through the back of the building to wait another 15 minutes. The office gal came in to tell me that the doctor would not see me because I would not accept a covid test. I didnt feel the need to get a covid test for what I knew to be the flu. The flu didnt just magically disappear since covid. People still get the flu. They had taken all my vitals and noted my fever at 100.6 degrees before this occured. Needless to say I did not get to see a doctor but I'm sure I will be billed for it (which I will fight). I am disgusted with our health care providers refusing treatment to people who are not on board with their corrupt agenda. I came here when I had pneumonia, I was in desperate need of antibiotics and something to ease the pain. The location is very convenient since I live around 10 minutes away. The wait time wasn't to long, there were around 4 people ahead of me.. The staff was very pleasant, and the doctor was very friendly and informative. I was out of there in no time. Great clinic! Only thing is they couldn't fax my prescription to my pharmacy but since it's next door I had no issue getting my antibiotics the same day. No complaints here I was treated like a valued patient and the problem was resolved! I hope I don't have to return but if the situation calls for it I'll happily return to this everett clinic location. read more

Nice/friendly front office folks and Doctor. But...a one star review for a complete misdiagnoses of a ruptured achilles tendon. Doc did admit at first he hadn't dealt with this before, and asked a fellow doc about what to look for. It was incorrect, obviously. Spent $227 for absolutely nothing. I was even asked, while in the room, to take four steps. I almost fell, but grabbing the computer table and the medical table saved me. He was talking to my wife and didn't see me fall. He then said I fell because "I had a shoe on my other foot", but since I could take steps, I was ok! I completed an emailed-to-me survey from the clinic, stating the misdiagnoses above, and to date received zero response from them...hence this review! Please note: Everyone was professional and friendly and I thought the doc was a very nice guy. But, he definitely needs to "bone up" on achilles tendons, though. read more

The staff was great except the doctor. I've been sick for a week and it's only getting worse, he told me my tonsils look "fine" even though I can't swallow or breath without being in pain. I can't sleep at night, I can clearly see my tonsils are huge and the upset, why can't the doctor? I told him that I'm taking the maximum amounts of ibuprofen and acetaminophen, I'm taking DayQuil and NyQuil nonstop, and that I tried allergy medicine without any actual help from any of it. I also told him I was developing a cough. His recommendation: I can go back to work tomorrow with allergy medicine, nasal spray and ibuprofen. I already told him that didn't help and that nasal spray makes my allergies worse. He said allergy medicine takes 10 days to work, so let my body fight it off. And go back to work when I'm developing a cough? I don't think so, I work at a restaurant. What a waste of two hours, no help at all. read more

If you have little ones don't take them there. They don't know how to handle babies. Big mistake on my side to take my 8m old. They were not able to diagnose him and just ordered test that are suitable for adults and poke him around and injure and make him suffer. Not even common sense was applied. While the staff is quite friendly, the dr's don't know how to read an x-ray. A couple of years ago, after receiving a soccer injury, after the X-ray I started to leave after being told there was no fx... only to be grabbed before I left (I think it was the radiologist that had to tell the dr he gave the wrong dx) to be told I did have a fx'd fibula. Fast-fwrd to this past October, badly jammed my pinky playing football with kids in my class... my hand was black and blue and swollen down to my wrist... I was told no fx, wrap it for a couple of weeks and I'll be fine. 3 months later, is better but still still bugging me, I go to a different clinic/dr who tells me it's fx'd before he even xrays it to confirm... I now have to go see a hand surgeon to fix the mess that my finger now is because it wasn't dx'd properly. I know this clinic is close and convenient, but I wouldn't put your health in jeopardy by going there. If you just have a small issue (sinus infection or something similar), they're fine... but not for much more. read more

I have used this walk in clinic the last several years because it is convenient and close to home but not very impressed. It took me two visits and 3 phone calls to get the right diagnosis. The nurses are not quick to return your calls so I spent most of my weekend in the waiting room or waiting for a return call. I suffered with 2 days of pain because I was wrongly diagnosed. When I looked up my symptoms on Web MD it clearly told me what was wrong. Not sure how the 1st Dr. missed that? I decided it is time to sacrifice convenience for quality and will start looking elsewhere not only for a walk in clinic but for a PCP outside of the Everett Clinic. read more
