One of the volunteers also informed me that they will be adding an EBT machine to the market so that they can accept food stamps in addition to the WIC & Senior coupons that they already take. A couple of my girlfriends bought hand made jewelry from the lady there and the pieces are soooo cute and cheap!!! The place also smells like fresh baked bread thanks to the yummy baker there!!! In long We tend to do our grocery shopping across multiple locations, including some stuff online. Always looking for new things and good prices. We've been craving fresh tomatoes since they're in season and we didn't plant any this year. In a long route-around to avoid traffic yesterday, we ended up passing this spot and chucking our afternoon plans in favor of staying in Everett for the afternoon. So glad we did. We found red and green tomatoes here, along with a bunch of different stone fruits, all for under $15. Everything's in great shape and even if we don't grocery-shop this far north of our place very often, it was a great stop.

At the end of the street I found a few food options. The most amazing Filipino food from 88 Cues, irresistible salsas and masala chai, and so much more to try. I ended up buying a bowl cozy at this market. The stand I bought it from has been at other markets and each time I wonder if I really need one. Honestly this is the most underrated and useful item in your household and if you are a camping person then you will love a little bowl holder. Mine has a Mexican skull theme and my husbands is super Mario bros. They're so cute and nicely crafted. I also bought some chicken earrings from Alpine Rio creations. They're beautiful and when I asked if they came in a darker wood color, the artist offered to make me a pair. How amazing is that! This isn't too far from north Seattle located in Lake Stevens and parking was ample. They even have a few farm animals (e.g. chickens and goats) where you can pay quarters to buy food to feed them. Food wise, we didn't get to try too much, we really wanted the roasted corn but they were understaffed that day and didn't want to wait for it. I got a corn dog and they also had burgers... menu had fries but they didn't have fries that day either. The highlights were the play area for the kids, giant bouncy pumpkin, the cow ride for kids and the hay ride. Best of all, we didn't have to wait in line. They also had several photo spots with gorgeous pumpkin decor set up. It probably would've felt more festive if there were more people but it was still a great time for our family.
