Terrible service. Rude sales ... they told me they'd send me my plates, then after I got pulled over for the paper thing being expired, I called for plates and they sent me a bill for overnighting them across the state. When i called to ask where they were the lady said they were on her desk... the sales people knew I was from Spokane and there were several notes saying to mail them to me... Plus the fact they're super rude and not very friendly, unless you're in love w a vehicle they have, go someplace else... My experience buying a car for Mr. Steve Collins was beyond positive. He is not a franchise dealer, however, he does sell vehicles and he is the most honest person I have ever met in my entire life when it comes to salesmanship. He is friendly, polite, helpful, and it's not in a sense that he is that way because he's trying to sell you a car. You can tell by talking to him and being in his presence that it's his natural nature to be upfront with you and treat you with dignity. I purchased a 2013 4 x 4 F-150 truck from him that was lifted with the big tires the way I wanted it. I feel that it was a good price. I did look around and saw older vehicles selling for thousands of dollars more and some vehicles that were 2013 or 2012 there were also trucks selling for $6,000 more than what I paid . I just want to add that this is also the guy franchise dealers go to when they want to buy 5 to 10 vehicles at one time. Because Steve is not a franchise dealer, he is able to offer great prices for the vehicles he sells. If he was a franchise dealer he would most likely need to charge an incredible amount of money for used vehicles. I strongly suggest that you check with him about buying a car or truck before you go elsewhere because you will never find someone very honest with high integrity who is in the business of selling cars. Fucking terrible. So, the (very rude) girl that works there wouldn't let me park my car before trying to sell me. Then the fellow who works Saturday's asked me if I had been helped. When I said yes he asked by who. Then he tried to push me instantly into my budget, ect. That's fine but when I told him I would rather just look he kept pushing. Instead of letting me look he said I was snobby. He also said that I "must have been dealing with the other lots who are overly pushy". When I told him that they were actually the worst so far I could see him starting to lose his shit. I instantly left, taking my down payment (rather large one) and credit with me. Where should I begin? Unfortunately, I needed to purchase a vehicle sight unseen due to a military transfer. Steve was good at communicating and sending me pictures, all while assuring me the vehicle was in good shape and drives great. That was all the way up until they tried to get me to pay more money for registration fees, then quickly changed that to a "delivery fee" after we had already signed the papers and banks exchanged money. The vehicle was delivered and upon my arrival back into my state I inspected the truck and was blown away. This was one of the filthiest trucks I have ever seen for sale, let alone for sale from a dealer. Within about 5 minutes, I found two transmission leaks one from the transfer case and one from the rear differential (literally dripping oil). The truck was delivered with the fuel light on so I drove to the gas station to find that the vehicle barely took gas due to a vapor issue, then driving down the street noticed the gas cap continually blew off excess pressure, most likely due to a clogged EVAP system. After further inspection, the main air filter looked as though it was buried under sand and the cabin air filter was so filthy that air hardly blew in the cabin. I took the truck to Toyota because the transmission leaks should have been warrantied and came to find there was also an open recall on the vehicle. When I emailed Steve about all this, he merely pawned me off on Toyota and tried to claim that he helped me with the warranty. There was no effort on his part to attempt to solve any of the above issues in the least, only claiming that Toyota should fix the leaks. He also claimed the truck had been inspected by a Toyota dealer and his own mechanics who he pays to find issues. He is a liar, straight up. I am a mechanic and I found serious flaws in the matter of a few minutes...with the transmission leaks being potential safety hazards (do not know how long they have been leaking). I requested the service records from Steve, he did not even reply to my request. His level of integrity is piss poor. If Toyota inspected the vehicle, they would have found the leaks and warrantied them. They would have found the fueling issue. They would have found the open recall. I doubt they ever even inspected the truck. Please save yourself the time and stress and skip this dealer. I have already informed my bank to never deal with him again on their car buying service. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!!! read more
