Right off the bat, my mom and I felt the most comfortable with Amin (pronounced "Ah-mean") of Persi Homes. From the thorough, no-pressure in-home consult to the detailed estimate and contract he sent afterwards, Amin's expertise, warm personality, and responsiveness to our questions gave us the reassurance we needed to take the plunge and get started with our first remodel. My mom's house is around 30 years old. The tub/shower combo was original and started peeling in spots. The towel bar, vanity light, and other items were also original and needed to be replaced. My mom ended up doing a "full gut" and had Persi Homes replace everything, including the toilet, vanity and countertop, sink and faucet, vent fan, floor, etc. Amin answered all our questions and provided helpful suggestions during every phase of the project. As the Project Manager, he showed up several times a week to check the progress of the work, and he remained extremely friendly and responsive from start to finish. We always knew who was coming to the house on what day and what the next phase of the project was. From the demo guys to the tile guys and everyone in between, all the Persi Homes employees and subcontractors were polite, showed up on time, and worked extremely hard. They even cleaned up after themselves every day. Each City Inspection passed with flying colors, and Amin made sure my mom and I were 100% happy with every aspect of her bath remodel. Before this project, I was hesitant to undergo any remodels, especially after hearing horror stories of sketchy contractors from coworkers and friends over the years. But the Persi Homes crew was extremely professional, reliable, and easy to talk to. Coordinator Jay was a gem. She worked to keep everything going on time. The team worked efficiently to get the work done. Now the Bad: I did not know I had to buy everything from windows to doors to sinks to vanities. That is at least 10% of the contract value. Finally the Ugly: I did not know I have to find separate contractors for awnings, solar panels and the driveway. I think that is too much for a person who is not working in the construction business to negotiate all those subcontracts.

Initial walk through was clear and I was given a reasonable quote without Izabella even asking me what my budget was. All the other contractors I did a walk through with asked me what my budget was before giving me a quote. Izabella worked with the city permits, my difficult HoA rules, and was responsive throughout the entire project. She gave great suggestions, fixed things that were not up to her standards even when I didn't notice, and always found excellent solutions to little problems that would come up. Above all, Izabella is always consistently calm and never seems to be fazed/stressed about anything! Her team, from the electricians, plumbers, dry wall people, painters, cabinet guy and others were all excellent and great at their jobs. I am so happy with how everything turned out and I highly recommend Izabella's team!
