I've struggled to find good, reliable help in contractors and service workers for years and put off a kitchen remodel until it was nearly unavoidable. I was reserved to go through the process, but I reached out to Nik because of his high ratings and he hit all the marks perfectly. He got back to me and came out for estimating quickly. Specifically, they removed and replaced the existing cast iron tub, they tiled the back and side walls, they installed new shower fixtures, and they centered a light fixture. We found Nik construction on Yelp we're looking for companies to come and give us an estimate. Nik show up the day we agree to. It took a few weeks (he has a lot of works) to give us the estimate and approve the project. (Wainscoting and flooring) They started with the wainscoting we absolutely love how everything come out. Also the team who did the painting on the wainscoting very professional and very clean. After a week they start to work on replacing the carpet and the stairs with laminate flooring. I have to give a big credit to his guy Eduardo he did an outstanding job. He is very knowledgeable on the work. The only hiccups that I had was we had to paid extra money for painting the baseboard on one of the rooms. According to them that was not included. Our project was expensive, but I definitely will recommend him. We hired Medhi to do electrical and plumbing work in our backyard. GOOD: - Prompt and reliable. He always showed up on time and was accurate in giving estimates on how long the work would take. I didn't have any problems having him come back to fix something I noticed was wrong after he finished the job and was paid. - Good work. The job was straightforward but Medhi did a great job and paid good attention to detail. BAD: - In the middle of the multi-day job he told me he was going to need to charge me more than he originally quoted, saying that some of the stuff I reminded him to do was not originally mentioned and therefore not part of the original quote. While I do remember talking to him about doing those things, we agreed on these things verbally so I will claim partial fault for this miscommunication.
