I am the owner Belmead Pro Cuts 901 N Loop 340, Waco, TX 76705. This Saturday we had an issue with the A/C unit, we called Evergreen, the technician quoted $ 115 to come in on a Saturday (ok, a reasonable amount for a Saturday visit) plus $ 310 for replacing a cable between the A/C unit and the wall! This cable is typically about $ 20- $ 30, I spoke with the technician and he claimed that even after replacing the cable, there is no guarantee that the unit will work because he does not know what is wrong behind the wall- we don't do that kind of work! Not satisfied with his quote, we called someone else who came in on a Saturday and fixed (replaced) the cable including the plug to the wall for $ 175. see photos BEFORE and AFTER. Quote from Evergreen of more than $ 410 just to replace a short cable was exorbitant, and not fair. Will NEVER use your services. read more

Worst experience I've ever had. There's no way this company have this many positive reviews. It must be fake reviews. I called them 4 times within 5 hours window and they kept saying the same thing " our dispatch will contact you soon to let you know when the technician will arrive " but dispatch never called and the technician never arrived. I hired them in the Fall of 2020 for an annual contract. Once I signed up, customer service dropped and I feel like I am chasing after them for information and service. They failed to do a heating check in October when I scheduled them to do one and instead checked my AC unit... in preparation for the winter? I've had to call a few times to figure out exactly what they are doing and I get different answers each time. Most recently I called to clarify what exactly was going on and was told I was going to have to pay again in the Spring, despite signing up for an annual plan. After questioning the lady on the phone she continued getting huffier when I questioned her and then changed her story halfway through. I'm still not confident I won't be charged in the Spring and if she was just trying to get me to leave her alone. I've got to get through 2021 with them, but after that I'm never using them again. read more

Wow great service *twice* from Evergreen!! Finally a trustworthy a/c repair company that doesn't scam you! I called because my a/c broke, they were able to get someone out to me within an hour. Brent was able to repair it in 15 mins, it was a simple solution, and he showed me what was going on. Also he showed me there was an additional filter that needed to be replaced, and we were able to get that done too! I've had Lochridge-Priest service my a/c 3 times before and they never told me about the filter!! Plus LP charged me triple the amount Evergreen charged. So Evergreen is not only a better deal, you'll also receive better service. The next experience with Evergreen was when my Aunt's A/C broke down. This was a little more complicated, it's an old unit from 1969, but they were able to repair it! Rashad did an amazing job, replaced a few parts, and it didn't cost that much! Now her a/c is running much better than ever before! I am so pleased with this company, I recommend Evergreen to everyone in the Waco area. read more

I had an awful experience with another HVAC company yesterday (Friday) and sent the technician on his way. I then called Evergreen and they had a technician to our house at 8:00 am Saturday. David was a great young man, friendly and professional. He resolved our AC issue quickly and the repairs did not break our bank account like Lochridge had proposed. I will use Evergreen for all my heating & air conditioning maintenance and routine service. read more

First, the technician was kind and courteous and prompt. My first time using this company. I went by their yelp reviews, which although low in quantity had a good rating. Second, I was a little disappointed with his level of skill. My AC was making a loud grinding noise when it turned on. First he replaced the motor. A $600 job that did not fix the problem. He tried several other troubleshooting methods. He determined the problem to be a spindle in the blower (which was my guess actually). Another $400 in repairs after an already unnecessary $600. He said this was the third time he'd fixed this exact same problem that day. Which left me wondering why he had such a difficult time troubleshooting it in the first place. I asked if he could put the old motor back in but he said it might mess the spindle up again later down the road and refused to do so. So $1000 in repairs overall. Third, I requested an after hours technician because it's Texas. It's almost summer. We're getting close to the triple digits now. I needed it fixed that day. After replacing the motor and determining it to be the spindle, he said he would have to go to a second hand dealer to get the part. I was without AC for three days. Still had to pay the after hours fee which was $112 additional. Fourth, now that my AC is repaired, with the motor replaced, I've noticed a considerable lack in power from the unit. It keeps the house cool fine, but it takes longer to get to that point and seems like it runs more often now. Not sure what that will do to my electric bill yet. Lastly, overall I felt swindled.
