He showed up right when he said. He just reset the circuit breaker, I'll check that first from now on. They had to come out again for my dryer, a part had to be ordered, now this was a year later. They showed up when they said they would they fix my dryer once they got the part in and they have really really good prices. I highly recommend them to fix anything that you got broken. read more

We recently moved from Prescott, AZ to Woodway, TX. Mayflower was the mover and were superb. When we arrived and the washer was hooked up, it leaked. The movers contacted Kevin Henager and Ken Mott. They came out almost immediately, diagnosed the problem correctly and ordered the part needed. It arrived today. They put the part in and then tested to make sure it worked. It did. Called and said that my refrigerator was not cooling and that I thought it was the relay or compressor. He said he would be over in a few hours, which he was. He took less than 5 minutes to confirm that the compressor was leaking and locked up. He then said that would be $69, and that he did not work on compressors. Since I said the issue was possibly the compressor, why didn't he say that he didn't work on compressors up front? As a result, I wasted $69 when I could have called someone else up front that did work on compressors. read more

They made a 2PM appt with me, I left work early to meet them at my house to repair my dryer. Waited until 230, called, they said "he" was not answering his cellphone but was probably still on his last call. Made another appt for 300pm. Called back at 330PM when no one showed up again. They did not answer, I left a VM, still have not heard back from them. Not a nice thing to do to waste someone's time. read more

We had Direct Appliance Repair (DAR) fix our freezer after a power surge damaged it. Ken Mott came out, diagnosed the problem, and said it would take three days to get the part. Well, as soon as he could he ordered the part, and two days later we had a functioning freezer. Last week the through the door ice and water dispenser on our refrigerator stopped working. We called DAR, Ken came out and fixed the ice maker by making an adjustment to the gears. He could have told us we needed a new, expensive ice maker, but he tried the simple solution first. Then he said to turn off the refrigerator for 24 hours because the water feed line was likely frozen. We did, and he was right! For a minimal service call fee, we now have both ice and water. DAR does right by their customers. They are prompt, neat, and will do their best to get your appliance repaired. If we ever have another problem with an appliance, we know who to call! read more

I had DAR come out and fix my dryer - it's a kind of older model, probably about 10 or 12 years old. I called on Tuesday and they said they'd be out Wednesday afternoon. I got a call from Kevin around 2pm to say he was going to head to my house, but I had to meet someone downtown and I couldn't get home at that time. He said he'd call back. I got a call from Ken at about 4:00 and I was able to leave work and meet him at my house. He was in and out in less than 30 minutes, after replacing the heating coil. Everything else checked out great and he put the dryer back together and put it back in place and cleaned everything up. We chatted about dogs and trucks and whatever and he was just overall a great, trustworthy guy. I definitely will be referring business to them! read more
