Granted, i have been talking about shopping for a better rate for 8 years but I get side tracked and it goes into my filing drawer and does not get looked at until i get the new bill a year later. Sal explained that he can quote multiple insurance and went over the steps that would happen after I select a quote. He asked me if i wanted to answer all the question now or if prefer to send a copy of my coverages to him to enter into his quoting platform. He called me back after he entered my coverages to ask me some specific quotes about driving history, home history and several other question that I can not remember..Hahahaha. He kept telling me that this is a quote based on the information I provide... hahaha and the official stamped rate would be provided after he submits the application for review. At that point the rates could stay the same, go up or go down based what I answered, DMV and other reports they order. blah! Let me tell you i was nervous that the rate would be much higher than mine because of my sons driving and a house damage, from 5 years ago and i would just be stuck with my current insurance. Let me tell you wow!!!!! I am soooooo happy that I call Sal the rate was lower. He found me a company would only look at my sons tickets for last 3 years instead of 5/7 like the others and I have more coverage!!! The quote price was very competitive so I decided to give Sal a Call. Well.. I should've known better, at first, Sal sounded very professional over the phone, he even told me that had to go through several companies to get me the very best quote, after adjusting some of the coverage amounts; the quote came out at around 200 dlls over the one I had received in my mail previously; not great but still competitive. So, I told Sal that I would like to proceed with the insurance renewal process, he said that someone would be contacting me the next business day to go over the details.. It turns out, that they needed to bundle my car insurance and the quote they gave me for my auto insurance was way higher than the one I currently have, and said I didn't want to bundle but I was still interested on the Home Owners insurance.. The lady on the phone told me I needed to talk to Sal for the home quote, and that's what I did.. to my surprise, Sal gave me a story about the system having a glitch the previous business day, that the quote had a credit that wasn't supposed to be there.. that he didn't had control over the quotes, etc. etc. In the end, he gave me a quote almost double from the one he had previously sent over my mail... This is a classic example of bait and switch, and I'm just disappointed that MetLife allows this kind of practice by agents with consumers.. Shame on Sal Aguilar.. Oscar B.

When we first switched to Jason, he came to our home so we didn't have to load up our kids or find child care. We went over everything on our policy and he really educated us about the different coverages. We ended up with better coverage for less than what we were previously paying and a much better understanding of our policy. We love that our coverage includes roadside assistance and auto-glass repairs. When I was in an accident Jason assisted me with my claim and followed up to make sure things were going smoothly. Only when he knew he could give us better coverage for the same price did he suggest making a change. Since then we have added a family van and a motorcycle to our policy. It couldn't have been any easier to get those changes made. One phone call to Jason and it was sorted. It was the same when we had a windshield crack on the new van.
