Have had personal accounts here and non profit accounts and can say this has been the worst banking experience of my life. They automatically close an account with a zero balance for a month. But you only find out when you login online and see no accounts. Then you want to snag your statements, nope, you can only access statements for 30days after the account is automatically closed. But no fear they can send them to you for $30 flat fee and $1 per page. Absolutely insane. I closed all my personal accounts years ago because of all the fees they kept adding on, but kept the non profit account here. Huge mistake. We moved to Georgetown in October. We've always banked at a local bank and have NEVER had any issues and great go the extra mile service. My son opened an account and I was denied to a bank write off over 15 years ago. I deliberately asked if I would be able to make deposits into my son's account and was told yes I sure could. Today my first paycheck didnt make it to direct deposit to I was given a hand written check by a local company here in Geoegetown and was told I had to have my son with me. That is NOT what we were told when opening the account. My son was at work and had to leave work to go with me. We were then told there would be a 7-10 day hold on the check!!!! THIS CHECK WAS FROM A LOCAL BUSINESS!!! We will be closing the account and going somewhere else which is a pain in the ass and a shame when wanting to do business locally. I've had a checking account with ENB for over 40 years because of the Customer Service I get from the primary, downtown, EVERGREEN location. The minimum balance required to avoid fees in a checking account is lower than most banks and they offer overdraft protection on checking accounts. They answer the phone directly, look into any questions I have and solve any issues that come up quickly and efficiently. Problems arise anywhere you bank. I don't like calling a bank, getting a recording, being transferred from one person to another and then finally getting routed to someone who can't even help me. That's my experience with big name banks. No, ENB doesn't do loans, but banks aren't the best place to apply for a loan anyway. They typically have the worst rates and unbearable, scrutinizing qualifications, especially if you are Self Employed. Same with High Yield savings accounts; go somewhere else. I took off one star because of the Georgetown, CO. ENB branch bank. Terrible customer service there, with people who don't appreciate long term clients. Perhaps that is where the bad reviews are coming from. The ENB branch in Evergreen, CO., is the only branch to call if you have questions or need help. read more

I've banked here for 40 years, but am planning to move my accounts. Really bad. Received an insurance check from my mortgage company made out to me and a contractor. The contractor endorsed it, I took to the bank and they refused to deposit it. Told me I couldn't deposit it no matter what, even if the contractor came in person. I had to call my contractor and drive 45 minutes away to meet him at his Chase bank, so that I could get it cashed. Used to think there was some advantage in being a long time, loyal customer, but not at Evergreen National. read more

My family have had a presence (property owner) in the Evergreen Area since 1952, and we have continuously, through generations, maintained checking and savings accounts with Evergreen National Bank, so convenient, employees who understand the area. We have a 5th generation with a bank account at Evergreen National Bank. Never an issue, and any concern or question addressed or answered professionally and promptly. read more

The absolute worst bank in the State of Colorado if not the nation. They are unable to put together any sort of loan package for a condo unit without misplacing information. They broker out their loans to large national lenders and have no clue how to assemble a loan package. They have caused numerous delays in closing that have cost buyers their earnest money and resulted in extreme hardship to sellers. Do NOT even consider using this bank unless you want to risk loosing your money. The level of incompetence is beyond belief. read more
