We had a terrible experience at Evergreen Camp. Please reconsider if you are looking into sending your child there.

We absolutely love LCYC!…read more My son started in the Two's program and is now in the Three's classroom, and we've had such a wonderful experience every step of the way. The staff is incredible--many even have their own children enrolled or previously enrolled, which really shows how much they believe in the program. LCYC truly feels like a community of parents and teachers working together to help the kids learn and grow. The smaller class sizes make such a difference and really allow for personalized attention. My son has become so much more independent, and he's thriving academically and socially. It's been amazing watching the relationships he's built with both the staff and the other children. We couldn't be happier, and I highly recommend LCYC to any parent looking for a nurturing, high-quality early learning environment.

It's important for me to know that my son isn't just another number on their roster. My son has really enjoyed LcYC the last two years and we are very happy with the program and curriculum. Next year my Daughter will be attending as well and u can't wait for her to learn and grow with the great teachers and staff that LCYc has. The new director Mrs Rana has also done a lot of great things with the school and I know from other parents comments that they are very happy with the new direction the school is taking with her in charge.

We recently moved our twin toddlers to the MCCA Kensington-Forest Glen location. I'm pretty certain…read morethe outdoor playground sold it for us on first sight- huge, tree-shaded, much to do, and far more organic than others we have seen. :) We also feel strongly about supporting non-profit childcare, were impressed with the care and dedication of the staff, believed the cost was competitive for this area, and were thrilled with the breakfast and hot lunches provided through the Good Food Catering company. Our children have had a seamless adjustment with the assistance of warm, loving teachers truly interested in their growth and development. They have made diverse friends and enjoy attending school each day. I am not a parent who feels deeply about any particular "curriculums" for young children except play, exploration, love, and more play, particularly outside, so I will simply say that our children return home every evening refreshed and happy from an active day, and with surprising knowledge of things I had no clue about in nursery school. I couldn't recommend MCCA K/FG more- we are grateful to have found it, even more grateful that they had two spaces open up from their waitlist for our children, and look forward to their continued advancement here. Thank you, MCCA!

My son has been at CLNS for 3 years now. We have had the best experience I could have hoped for. I…read morelove each of the highly skilled/educated teachers and my son loved his time in each of their classes. They build confidence and the love of learning through play, meeting each child where they are. CLNS was also an education for me in parenting - in a very loving and non-judgmental way. For example, when my son was 2, it didn't benefit my son for me to anxiously ask him to apologize for taking a toy or accidentally stepping on another child's sand creation. Without shaming me or my son, the teachers demonstrated how to teach empathy verses forcing a meaningless (at that age) statement. They assured me that it was totally normal that my son was a tad late on the potty training front. They never any shame or force kids - they magically create confident kids who love learning. An unexpected benefit was the CLNS community of families, that was a huge support through these early years - I am so sad for this year to end. My sons favorite part: the awesome playground that is very organic and inspires creativity.

The teachers are fantastic and I really feel that he is given one-on-one care and attention. Being a first time mom, I was nervous transitioning my two year old into school, but he adapted quickly and I can already see how much he's learning and growing; not to mention he's socializing so well with the other kids in his class. We are so exited to graduate to the 2/3's class next year!
