If you're looking for a lash artist in Orange County, I highly recommend Joyce! I discovered her studio while browsing IG (@joistudio_) and saw that a couple of people I knew were regular clients. Once and awhile you'll see some promos on IG for discounted services so be sure to follow her. The whole process of booking an appointment was super simple thru her scheduling website. The website clearly states the different services along with pricing. A small deposit is required per appointment. Her pricing is very reasonable! Joyce is quick to respond to inquiries and is great at sending appointment reminders and directions. As someone who only gets my lashes done for special occasions, I'm glad I found a go to artist. Even though I don't keep them on that long after, the retention has been great. She uses quality products. I have been to other lash shops to get the occasional perm, but I always come back to Joyce because she knows my eyelid shape so well. I'm not a great explainer so I always get nervous trying to explain what style I want, but with Joyce I don't have to really talk or explain what style or degree of curl I want. She just knows. If you're looking for someone who does amazing lash lifts, Joyce is your girl! I had my lash lift done by her and they looked so good! She got close to the root so my lashes looked extra long. The whole process was smooth, quick and easy. She said it would last 6-8 weeks but it honestly held so well and lasted me close to 3 months! She's the best! Side note...since I have Asian eyes, I usually use waterproof mascara so that it holds my curls. I've been going to Joyce for years. She's very experienced and is great about consulting which styles/lengths might fit your eye shape best. Retention for my extension sets have been great. Most recently, I've switched to lash lifts, and it's been a seamless transition. She provides a fast service and my retention is usually 1.5 - 2 months. As with all services, I'd recommend getting there early and being prepared given her instructions she'll provide beforehand. I am so so happy I found Joyce! I have gone to her twice now prior to my trips to Hawaii and the Philippines and both sets were fantastic! Joyce is always engaged during our consultations and listens to any concerns I may have (ie. avoiding the heavy, "droopy" look since I have small Asian eyes). I found Joistudio on IG and booked with her online- it was super easy to pick my appointment and pay my deposit. When I went to my first appointment Joyce took photos of my lashes before we began the lash lift. Her work area is very clean and comfortable (I always want to fall asleep) and she makes sure to check in on you throughout the service and make sure you are comfortable.
