I got an eye infection for longer than 4 days after the appointment, went to the eye doctor to get it treated. Contacted Hannah with pictures immediately and she said it was just my allergy to the lash glue, I'm glad I still went to the professional for help. The doctor said her malpractice of gluing the lashes too close to the waterlines and uncleanliness contributed. She suggested I should get my lashes removed but didn't try to remediate for anything, pushing everything on my allergies. After months of having trouble finding someone I feel comfortable getting my lashes done, I finally did! I am so glad I got my lash lift and tint done by Hanny. I have had bad treatment done in Costa Mesa when I first relocated and it required months of recovery. Essentially, all my lashes were melted off and needed everything to fall out / regrow / replaced. Because of that, I actually flew back home in East Coast just to get all my lashes done. Hanny's salon is clean, comfortable, and a very calming environment. She gave me a blanket so I don't feel exposed laying down with a dress on. I barely felt anything happening while my lashes were done. No jarring sensation or timer alarms going off either. It was so comfortable, I fell asleep! Lastly, parking is free, easy and plenty. If you're deciding who to book, consider the following: Hannie and Brian are friendly, time-efficient artists, and in my opinion, they have the best style and retention compared to other artists. I booked a tassel set with Hannie, which lasted four weeks without a fill and was completed in just one hour--amazing work, no complaints. Since I also liked Brian's work, I decided to book a tassel set with him to give it a try. I'm only posting this review because, as we all know, lashes are a luxury, and their time and skill are worth the money we pay with our hard-earned money. During my appointment with Brian, I had trouble keeping my eye closed, likely due to caffeine consumption. As a result, the glue fumes made my eyes tear up, causing my eyes to shake, which made it difficult for Brian to apply the lashes. He expressed that he couldn't make the set as full as he wanted to, though he tried multiple times to keep working. Despite this, I still left feeling content because, even with the challenge, he completed a beautiful set. However, since the set wasn't as full, my $150 set (not including tip) already looked sparse after just one week. I reached out to Brian to see if he could provide a resolution, given that he himself had admitted the set wasn't as full as intended. I was disappointed with his response: "Sorry, only fixes within 24 hours." I don't understand how an artist can charge $150 for a one-hour lash set that becomes sparse within a week and be okay with it. It felt like he wasn't willing to work with me to fix the issue, which was disappointing. I'm sure many clients have zero issues with Brian, and I wish I were one of them, but take my review with a grain of salt--we're all human, and mistakes happen. read more

I got a classic set of lashes with Brian in 2024 and got the most beautiful, natural lashes I've ever gotten. I think I saw him take notes on what I said I liked/wanted and also what he used on me. It was so thoughtful and not something I've ever seen a lash tech do before. However, I'm not someone who is good at staying on top of appointments and getting refills. So I decided to let my lashes grow out and, this year, since Brian doesn't do lash lifts, I decided to go with Hanny to get my lashes lifted and tinted and I am so happy with my results. She really helps to shape the lashes to make sure that they fan out beautifully. I have very short, down-turned lashes and other lash techs in the last have given me very kinky lash lifts; Hanny really makes my lashes look like they're naturally curly. The results really do last a long time and I think the look in between services is much more forgiving. The tint and lift looks very pretty even when it starts to fade whereas lash extensions can start to look a bit more untamed between services. Every time that I've been there, it's been so quiet and peaceful. And Hanny is so detail oriented and gentle in her touch. I think the website is a little sparse on details so I recommend checking out the Instagram pages listed on their website to get a sense of their offerings.
