The arrangements are thoughtfully designed with high quality blooms that last. As a florist myself, I have very high standards for ordering from others, and I'd never hesitate to use her to send flowers or recommend her to my friends in the greater Milwaukee area. I did want to add as I was getting ready to write my review I noticed another from Lara P. about an arrangement she received. Although the picture is pretty blurry and an odd angle, I can see right away based on the artistry of the design, the use higher-end flowers like freesia and roses and calla lilies, plus labor & delivery, the the value for that arrangement is more than there. Black flowers (or even black-looking flowers) are rare in nature. Black Calla lilies are hard to get, expensive and often need to be special ordered. My advice to anyone concerned about an order -- particularly one you don't see in person -- its to contact the florist before making a negative review for a small business. From experience, I know Kimberlee truly cares about her clients and would do anything she could to make the customer feel better or make it right.

Unbelievably there were virtually no places within walking distance from where we were to get any! I googled flower places nearby and a few places came up. I had called 3 other places, and tried the Public Market with no luck. I then called A New Bloom, and Mary answered the phone, yea, win #1! They used one huge ugly grey green rose ( supposed to be purple) that was so heavy wouldn't stay up. Brides bouquet was to be white and ivory roses with at least 20% purple flowers it, no purple but sea lavender filler and yellowish roses. Also wanted a nice cascade but it was a bush style. Even had on fb about movement which knew didn't want that style. BM bouquets were to be purple with 20-25 % white. No white and gave a blue pink look. she said bc of camera but the eye doesn't lie. Medium center pieces had no cream in as well and low ones were just some greens around the candles with sea lavender and no real flowers for 65$ Complained after wedding and she said should of said day of. Seriously what were they going to do it all over again. No just get us more upset the day of wedding and upset the bride more. Carter Creations was one of two florists that were really close to the house. I chose Carter because they had 4.7 stars on Google and the other place only had 4.4. It was kind of a "luck of the draw" situation. I have a florist here in San Antonio that always does a super job with the flowers I send for my wife. When I send to other places, I don't expect the same quality. My wife's friend sent me a picture with her thank you text. The flowers from Carter Creations are really beautiful. I am very happy with my choice. I actually ordered these online. Unfortunately, I messed up the order somehow, and the email receipt indicated they were delivering to MY HOUSE! I panicked for a minute until I saw that I needed to call their number to complete the credit card charges. I told them where to deliver them, and all was well. I wish I had caught the name of the wonderful lady who helped me. She was super nice and very helpful. I only have one friend in Milwaukee. Now, I only have one florist, as well!
