I wish I could give ZERO stars. This is the worst business I have ever dealt with. Kathy is a liar, and the most unprofessional and uncompassionate person I've ever met. She had delivered flowers to me that were purchased from 2 of my girlfriends two days before my wedding. When I got home from my rehearsal dinner late Friday night, I came home to discover my flowers from Kathy's covered in hundreds and hundreds of baby spiders. The spiders were also all over my dresser, and they also got all in my bed (which is right next to my dresser), and they were all over my floor and behind the dresser. Worst nightmare for a bride to be the night before her wedding. I was up till 2am cleaning up all these spiders, and washing my sheets and blankets. Needless to say, I got no sleep the night before my wedding (you try sleeping in a bed that was infested with spiders). I also had huge welts on my body the morning of my wedding - which I am assuming was spider bites. With me being a little busy getting married the next day then going on my honeymoon, my friend that purchased the flowers had asked me if she could contact Kathy's to let her know what happened. I said absolutely. After my friend informed Kathy of the situation, Kathy made every excuse that the spiders weren't her fault. Kathy blamed me and my house and that the spiders came from my house (which is not the case because I got married... I had tons of other flower bouquets in my house at that time and hers were the only flowers infested with spiders). Then Kathy tried to flat out lied to my mom when she called and told my mom that my friend picked up the flowers from her and she can't be responsible for the flowers once somebody picks them up. What Kathy didn't realize is that my mom happened to be home when Kathy herself personally hand delivered me the flowers. Nice try Kathy. Instead of sincerely apologizing, Kathy tried to come up with any excuse as to why this wasn't her problem, and when she ran out of excuses, she just flat out lied. Kathy also said in order to get a full refund, that we would have to give her back the flowers, the wrapping they orginally came in, and even the tape that was used on the wrapping. Without all this, Kathy would only issue a $10 refund back. I'm sorry but who keeps the wrapping??? That wrapping got thrown out right away on Wednesday. At this point I personally, the bride that this happened to, had never heard from Kathy. Kathy never once tried to reach out to me to apologize or try to make things right. Instead she hung up on the purchaser whenever she tried to call, and Kathy ended up blocking her phone number. So when I got back from my honeymoon on Thursday, my friend (the purchaser), had told me what was going on. So I decided to call Kathy myself. When I called Kathy, she was not empathic or truly sorry for what had happened. She just went on and on with every excuse as to how this wasn't her fault. Then she tells me that she had no idea why I was even calling her, because this whole situation was resolved and she didn't get why I had to get involved. I asked her what she meant by that. Kathy told me that she had called the purchaser back yesterday and worked everything out and that the purchaser will be refunded. Flat out lie. Kathy never called my friend back. At the end of mine and Kathy's conversation, instead of apologizing or trying to be sympathetic to my situation, she tells me "you know you chose your friends, and these are going to be your friends for the rest of your life". I stopped her right there. Kathy has absolutely no customer service skills. Instead of trying to make things better, she judged my friends and I felt like she was giving me a warning. My friends are looking out for me, and trying to make this situation right. This is not about the spiders. I understand that this could happen to any bouquet of flowers from anyplace. Unfortunately it just happened to happen in her flowers. This is about customer service. I have never been treated so poorly and rudely by a person before --- and she's the owner!!! Kathy showed no compassion to a bride on her wedding day. This was the most special day of my life. I do not tolerate liars either. The fact that Kathy lied to me and my mom just makes my blood boil. So after all this happens, you would think that Kathy would try to make things right. Instead she went to her Facebook page, and made my "spider bouquet" her cover photo. Instead of apologizing or doing anything to try to make things better, she mocks me and rubs it in my face. This lady has no class and no heart. She mocked a bride who had the worst night ever with those flowers. I want to get the word out about Kathy's and her terrible customer service. Please do yourself a favor and go to another local florist. I never wish upon anybody what happened to me and my friends with Kathy's. read more

*Worst customer service I have ever experienced!!!!*** I got married this past on Saturday, and my girlfriends sent me flowers last Wednesday from Kathy's. Not to mention my arms were covered in welts from what I think were spider bites from the night before. So I told my friends that sent me the flowers what had happened. One of the girls asked if she could contact Kathy's to let her know what happened. I said yes, because obviously with getting married and then going on a honeymoon, that I would be too busy. My friend called and spoke with numerous people at Kathy's, and was told there was no way this could have happened from them, and they needed the flowers, the wrapper, and the tape to get a refund back. Well I threw out the wrapper immediately. I still had the flowers - only because once I discovered the spiders, I took the whole vase & flowers outside. At this point, my mom had to call Kathy's, because they had told my friend who purchased the flowers that they will no longer speak to her, and would only speak to me or my mom (don't know why my mother had to be involved?). So my mom called Kathy's, and was told they would only refund my friend back $10. At this point my friend had tried calling back Kathy's numerous times, and got hung up on, and never got any messages returned (my friend left several voicemails, and sent messages online). So I called Kathy's myself today, and spoke with Kathy herself. Kathy was surprised I was calling because she said this situation was resolved yesterday, and she told me she called my friend back yesterday and worked everything out with a refund. Kathy flat out lied to me. She never called my friend back, or my mom back. When Kathy told me she refunded my friend back, I assumed it was for the full amount. My friend checked her card... it was only a $10 refund. This is not about refunds or money. This is about customer service. Kathy's flat out has the worst customer service I have ever experienced. Not only are they liars... but they have no remorse or empathy for what happened. The way she treated my friend and mom was unacceptable. Then she flat out lied to me when I called her myself, and as we ended the conversation, she said to me "you chose your friends and these are going to be your friends for the rest of your life". Kathy's is the most unprofessional business I have ever dealt with. And clearly customers feelings are not a priority for them. Kathy's should have done anything possible to make things better. I know things happen, and that the spiders could have happened in any flower arrangement from any company. The point is that Kathy's didn't care that the flowers ruined the night before my wedding, and caused me a ton of stress and time. And on top of that lied, and treated us terribly. I will never use them again, nor will I ever recommend Kathy's to anybody that I know. read more

Ordered flowers for my friends baby shower and Kathy did a wonderful job. My girlfriend loved the umbrella that was created and couldn't be happier with the customer service she received when Kathy dropped it off. I love the customer service I received on the phone and was able to see the flowers with a photo proof of delivery sent to my phone. I am glad that I found a reliable florist who is great with visions since I was unable to be there to show exactly what I meant. Kathy was above and beyond wonderful to work with. With less than a 24-hour timeline and a right budget, I asked if she would be able to provide boutonnieres and corsages for a corporate table of 10. The event celebrated National Coming Out Day for the LGBTQ+ community. Kathy made it clear that she was an ally and would do whatever it took to deliver. She listened intently and created the most creative and beautiful arrangements. Each person received a custom item representing a color of the rainbow and the transgender colors. It is always difficult buying flowers from a distance but Kathy made it so easy. There was a website that had pictures to choose from. The arrangements I bought were beautiful and I know because I was sent a picture of the actual flowers that were delivered. In addition, I received to call let me know the flowers were delivered. This order was for my daughter's hospital room. Hospitals can make delivery difficult these days but Kathy's persisted and they were in our daughter's room as soon as she returned from surgery.
