Not a good experience. I ordered book digitization. After leaving a request on the website, I received five phone calls with unrelated questions, which only wasted my time. The project duration was set to two months, which is very long in my opinion. Originally, I was charged $600 for a 300-page book, with additional charges for quality improvement and artifact removal. After one month, the price was increased by another $200 due to a "miscalculation." When I received the files, I did not notice any quality improvement or artifact removal. Additionally, instead of a single multi-page file, I received 300 separate files. I tried to submit requests through the website to resolve my complaints and also called by phone. The website request was left without any response, and phone calls did not help either -- I was told that the manager responsible for my project was not available. Maybe this is just my experience, but I will not use this service again. UPD: I was able to connect with the SLT, and my issues were resolved to some extent. In the end, I received what I originally expected, and I did see a genuine effort from the SLT team to address my concerns. However, the overall experience was still not great. read more

I asked Everpresent to digitize several albums, loose photos, slides and a single videotape and was offered "image enhancement" at an additional charge. Figuring I was only going to do this once, I decided to agree to that option, which was $700+ . For the $700, Most of the pictures have had absolutely nothing discernable done to them and the pictures that had "red eye reduction" done to them look like someone colored in the eyes with a felt tip marker. They should not offer a Plus-sell service option that they are not able to do professionally. It makes me feel like I was scammed and taken advantage of. When I conveyed that I was not happy I received a phone call and was told i can email my concerns to info@everpresent.com. I did so and have yet to receive a response. FOLLOW UP: I received an email from the owner of the Company who offered to discuss the issues further and if we came to an agreement about the issue they'd be willing to re-edit the photos. While I appreciate the attempt, I am aggravated at this point ana not willing to spend any more time dealing with this issue. My personal opinion is; their digitization seems to be fine but I would not recommend the "photo enhancement" add-0n option. read more

I had such a terrific experience using EverPresent. They pulled off the most amazing holiday gift. I gathered all my parents photos and slides, and EverPresent thoughtfully and carefully digitized and organized all images faster and more logically than anyone in my family could have hoped to do individually. This was the best decision to outsource a task we've ever made. I think the cost was very fair considering how much care they put into handling and digitizing irreplaceable family photos. It was something I was scared to do for years - to hand someone all of our images at one time. But their communication was terrific throughout the process and made the decision comfortable. This was a gift for my parents, but will really be for all of their kids/grandkids as we finally have digitized copies of every family photo & slide saved on multiple USB drives for safe keeping. Thanks so much to Jane Simons and Everview for making my Father's Day so great this year. They catalogued, stored and reprocuded on simple CD format and on a flas drive a wide array of media, from Super 8 movies of my family's early days in Japan to all sizes of video tape. Jane was instrumental in making house calls to go over the various pieces and took a personal interest every step of the way. It was obviously as fun for her as it was for us to preserve these family memories in such an easy format. In the few weeks we have had the CDs we have shared them with several other family members. The best part is the notebook of thumbnail photos that help us identify the exact CD and frame to short cut the process of finding the perfect few minutes to watch with relatives and friends. I gave Jane and her team at EverPresent only a few weeks to create a 'That 70's Show' flashback video staring my family. We had a family reunion on Cape Cod in early August and the 14 minute production was the highlight of the entire week. Jane combined video clips with photo's and some 'one hit wonders' music from the 70's to create a video that rocked the house. We laughed all week long. We made watching the video a nightly event after our meals. It was clear that Jane invested a lot of time figuring out how to match the music with the visual content to reflect our family dymanic. My expectations were exceeded in a big way. The EverPresent team are Pro's at getting things done and making it look easy in the process. Amazing results! I was very impressed with the quality of of my digitized 8mm bar mitzvah film. I had low expectations that the this almost 50 year old film would come out well. Previewing the film on a hand cranked projector that allowed me to to freeze frames and go at slow speed was cool but no way prepared me for the fabulous end results. The staff took great care to assure me that my movie and slides would be handled with the utmost care and everything was well organized; labeled and presented in a very professional manner. The Kodachrome and Ektachrome slides came out stunning when digitized. I can't wait to share this movie at Rosh Hashsana time with family members! I strongly recommend EverPresent for preserving digitally the many cherished moments documented in our lives! read more

My mother who was 95 and lived a full life passed away and sometimes in circumstances like this, you need some slides done quickly. I needed 300 slides that were taken about 40 years ago converted into digital slide format. The EverPresent staff were incredible in taking care of my immediate problem. In a short period of time they converted my old slides into digital format, cleaned them up, as some looked faded, they added music and beginning and ending slides. It was an amazing slide show and we gave 20 DVD's to friends and family. I am thankful to the staff as they are knowledgeable, took care of my problem, they are local and close to Boston and did a very professional job for me. read more

We give our highest recommendation for EverPresent. They took thousands of our old family photos and videos and digitized them for us in an extremely short time, a project that was currently taking me years to do. In addition, they digitally restored many of the old black and white photos which were fading or had been damaged while being stored in old boxes in our attic for many years. The price was very reasonable given that our family photos are irreplaceable and they completed our project very quickly. In addition, they were excellent to work with as they were both very responsive and very accommodating regarding having our photos picked up and dropped off. Our highest recommendations. read more

I used EverPresent to create a customized slideshow of our family's pictures over the course of the year - a gift that I gave to parents and grandparents for Christmas. I was thrilled with the result, they were able to set the pictures to music and it has become a fun keepsake for us. The grandparents were excited to have a "movie" of all the kids' milestones in 2012. The team at EverPresent was wonderful to work with, and very proactive in making recommendations to produce the best results. We used EverPresent to digitize a bunch of wedding photos and some old albums. It ended up being about 5,000 pictures and also a bunch of video files. They did an excellent job with the quality and organization. Having the photos on a digital photo frame is a real treat as we never looked at the old pictures. Now the kids ask a bunch of questions which is a fun conversation piece at dinner. I also love the peace of mind knowing we won't lose the photos or have them degrade in quality. Last December I sent a VHS tape to EverPresent to be transferred to a thumb drive. On the original tape were two films I watch every year. When I received the thumb drive I was so disappointed in the audio: I could barely hear it! I contacted EverPresent and they immediately expressed understanding and concern. I was told to return the VHS tape and the technicians would review it to see if they could enhance the audio. Well they did! I am so impressed with their customer service and the people I spoke to on the phone. Thank you EverPresent. This was my second project with them. I'm sure there will be others. read more

Highly recommend EverPresent! I'm a painter so I brought some paintings here to see if they could scan and archive my work at high resolution. I've done multiple projects with EverPresent. Most recently I had them organize my digital photos & videos since they were scattered across laptops, phone accounts, Shutterfly, and on CDs. Now I have one master library with chronological folders so the whole family can sit and watch the videos and photos together whenever we want. Plus, I have been able to make my kids slideshows so easily since everything is in chronological order and tagged by child. I requested digital and dvd conversion of 5 VHS tapes as a Christmas gift for my parents. We are very happy with the chance to view long-forgotten images. The only unfortunate thing is that some of the final videos have fuzzy images and less than perfect audio~ I'm guessing this is not the fault of Everpresent, but the quality of the tapes I brought in. I was going to give four stars, but a phone call request from EverPresent asking if I would mind doing a review secured that fifth star. Nice personAl and polite touch! read more

This is a fantastic service. I first used EverPresent to scan about 1,500 of my own photos I had stored in a closet. I couldn't have been more pleased with the results-- the photo quality was great and the organization/ facial recognition software has allowed me to use and enjoy the photos much more. Based on my this experience, I had EverPresent digitize my family's entire photo archive-- more than 4,000 pictures. We'd accumulated a large number of family movies and videos over the years - all in different formats and mostly not labeled or mislabeled.
