A go-to spot for all things tanning and beauty! My mom, sister and I came here for spray tans before a wedding and Hadley provided the BEST service. We don't tan often and as newbies we were lucky to have an expert to walk us through every step of the way and provide great recommendations for color and bronzer choices as well. While we waited for our machines (~5-10min) since we wanted the same kind, we enjoyed great music, a clean store/lounge area and great conversation! Where do I start this place is just amazing I love going there & I'm always welcomed with a beautiful smile from all especially Ashlyn & Alayna . All their beds are excellent and different so u have plenty of options. The girls are extremely knowledgeable and will tell u which ones are best & which ones u need to build ur tan or to get darker & how many minutes u need in each . 1 Star (I'd give 0 stars if I could.) I rarely leave negative reviews, but I feel it's important to share my experience. My husband and I signed up for the trial membership at EverSun Poway. During our visit, Ashland encouraged us to experience all of the amenities so we could make an informed decision before the trial ended. We appreciated that recommendation and did exactly that. After deciding the membership wasn't the right fit for us, I contacted the Poway location on May 17, 2026--the day before our trial expired--to cancel both memberships. Despite canceling within the trial period, we were each charged $184.32, for a total of $368.64. Over the following weeks, I made multiple attempts to resolve the issue. While I eventually received a return call, I was told the only option available was a membership credit for memberships I had already canceled and did not want. A refund was refused. As a small business owner, I understand that policies are important. I also believe customer service means taking ownership when a customer has made a good-faith effort to follow the rules. I canceled before my trial expired, yet I was still charged and denied a refund. The facility itself is beautiful, and the staff I interacted with in person were friendly. Unfortunately, the way this situation was handled completely overshadowed what could have been a positive experience. A beautiful facility can't make up for poor customer service. The true test of a business isn't how it treats prospective members--it's how it handles problems when they arise. Unfortunately, this experience fell well short of what I expected. If you're considering a trial membership, I strongly encourage you to read the cancellation policy carefully, document every interaction, and keep records of all communications. read more

Disappointed with my experience at iTAN. I had one of their more expensive passes thinking I'd be able to use all the amenities, especially the tanning beds. Unfortunately, I didn't even get to tan. I had to take an urgent call and couldn't get into the bed right away, and when I told them, they told me they couldn't set the machine up again. Their excuse? "We don't know if you tanned or not." Which makes no sense. They definitely have monitors that track usage, and if it's an instant tan like they claim, it would have shown on my skin. I didn't want to argue because it was obvious they weren't interested in helping. To make it worse, I went into another amenity room and could clearly hear staff gossiping about customers, mutual friends, even their own coworkers. The ceilings are open, so nothing is private. I have been an iTan member for as long as I can remember and I'll continue as long as I'm mobile and can pay for it. I'm always greeted with a smile, even when they are busy. My member monthly fees went up when the new location opened but the added amenities make it well worth the price. Doing the salt-sauna at night gives me the best night's rest. Very disappointing experience at my first time at this I tan in Poway. I had called and asked if they have red light therapy because I saw it on their website offering a seven day free trial. They said yes and just bring a picture of the coupon down. I brought a friend so that they can experience it to with a possibility of enrolling on some services first thing, the two girls at the front desk was asking if I've been there in the past and I said I might have been many many years ago and before I could say anything else they had told me that I couldn't use the trial. I'm not sure if this is a new location, but it's a very poor way of turning away a disappointed potential new client. Actually potentially two new clients. It probably would've been not so bad of an experience if the girl had mentioned that on the phone call but I drove 20 minutes During my lunch break to give this new service a try. I ended up explaining I was frustrated and instead of having better customer service and saying we could definitely honor that for you they had no problem with me walking out the door with another potential client. I very much enjoy all the iTans I visit. First time here at Poway. However this one was the opposite. Sure new location with new beds. However staff is most certainly not welcoming, friendly, or helpful like at every other iTAN place I visit. You're not even greeted with a up beat vibe. They were even resistant to questions about what new beds they have considering it was my first time at this location, YES I was curious what they had to offer that may differ. I probably wouldn't return for that alone. Even though they have the new Red Light Bed which is only reason I went in. To me the "the known" welcoming up beat vibe you get at an iTAN just wasn't happening at this location and that is always a pleasure and helped keep me a member for close to a full year . Midday non busy time as well. I left disappointed and thinking one and done here to be honest. All good I got my tan on I suppose. Just go to Carmel Mountain up the road. Super awesome there IMHO. I have come to this location a few times and EVERY time I come to this location the ladies are SO nice, the salon is SUPER clean and IT DOESN'T SMELL!!!!! My membership is on pause and wanted to take advantage of their $1 President Day Weekend sale so I went to the Carmel Mountain and the odor that I smelled immediately walking in, got me nauseous. I love the ladies there too, but there's a smell that just gives me a headache and makes me nauseous. So I thought I would try the Poway location then next day and WOW! Nadine the Manager was at the front desk and I explained to her the smell that I kept smelling at Carmel Mountain and she told me they had the same issue but have figured a way to kill it! AND OMG...that salon is so different! I didn't get nauseous or get a headache. Not only did Nadine talk me into buying the last of the Tekton Aftersun lotion but I bought the new one too!!!
