I had my eyebrows waxed by Channy. Best experience of my life. She took the time to explain to me, as I wanted a nice shape to them and I can't wait to return, even if it means taking a day off work just to get my eyebrows done an hour drive away from me. I love Riviera Wellness Spa and have been a client there for a long time. I wanted to update a previous review as I have had wonderful treatments from new personnel. First, Jennifer and PJ have created an oasis of relaxation that will transport you to tranquility. I have had stellar service from them. I especially recommend Cory for relaxation massage. If you need deep tissue work, then I highly recommend Michelle. Feenix is also a wonderful masseuse who does both relaxation and deep tissue work. Channie does amazing facials and is so caring and helpful. I have not had treatments from others yet but I trust the judgment of these spa owners to ensure that all of their employees are top notch. My good friends (& roommates) purchased a gift certificate for me for my birthday, which I was finally able to use once the COVID rules allowed. Jennifer was ever so pleasant in setting me up, giving me directions, etc. Both she & Stephanie greeted me upon my arrival. The Spa itself was immaculately clean and had a calming feel to it ... not "too foo foo" (as in "uppity" like many spas). Love this place! I went in on Christmas Eve for a mini facial. Thankfully they were able to fit me in because I had a massive breakout and was really concerned about my skin since we were having company over for Xmas Eve. The woman who did my facial (Christina I believe?) assured me that she could help calm my skin down. She used products specifically for my type of skin and my problem areas. Got both a facial and massage as a treat for myself before the holidays. I've had a better facial elsewhere. I am used to someone talking me through what is being applied on my face and its purpose. I was definitely caught off guard when the extraction began. A little warning would have been nice. eek. I did enjoy my massage by a different lady named Stephanie, I believe? After being a patron of Spa Riviera for over 12 years, I was a bit concerned about the ownership changing. I wondered if the quality service that I have come to expect that rivals local hotel spas would still exist. I have been to the new Riviera Wellness Spa twice since they opened. Both times I received a deep tissue massage from Stephanie. She does a great job of getting the knots out while still providing a relaxing experience. Today, I had the "Three Sisters" facial from one of the owners, PJ. It consisted of three masks applied over an hour period. I could feel the products working and was surprised to see how much firmer my skin appeared and loved the glisten of my freshly nourished skin. Both times, I did not have to wait for my services. I was immediately taken back as soon as I arrived. The rooms are spacious and very clean. Relaxing music streams throughout the spa. I will definitely be back soon. read more

I was impressed by the breadth of available services, ranging from cranio-sacral therapy to customized facials. Above all, co-owners P.J. Terry and Jennifer Lannon practice what they preach. I chose to have a facial and chemical peel with P.J. She guided me through the process, explaining each step as we went along. It was helpful to hear about her experience using the various products on herself and other clients over the years. I appreciated the information, especially because it didn't just feel like she was pushing products, as many spas tend to do. Most importantly, I felt and looked glorious afterward. It has been awhile since my last visit, and I cannot say enough about how happy I was with my massage by Stephanie. I have tried here in the past, years ago under another owner, and was not happy. This time I was in need of helping my neck, and decided I needed to give it a shot due to an appointment cancellation I had down the hill. And I'm so happy I made the call. The service and ambiance in the place is wonderful. Very friendly. Very attentive. The massage itself was excellent. I am a tough client, my muscles knot up like rocks. The entire flow of the process, from the music to the attentiveness to comfort to the quiet in the rest of the facility, was a delight. Hours afterwards my back and neck are still smiling. I have been here several times and I love it! I work as a hairstylist and have very stiff shoulders & get lower back pain from time to time. Jennifer is amazing. She has magic hands & gives a great deep tissue massage. I have actually been going to Jennifer for the past 8 years, I have tried other massage places & they just don't compare to her work. She recently opened this spa & I followed her from the previous spa she worked at. I have gotten a facial here as well from P.J. & she really helped me with my skin. They carry Rhonda Allison skin care & she recommended me a couple of products that have really made such a difference on my skin, the green tea cleanser is the best!! The girls are back! Jen the receptionist is so friendly... and attractive. I don't know if she performs any of the services herself. She worked w/ me to figure out what it was that I wanted/needed and really tried to work w/ my schedule. To be honest, it feels about the same as it did 3 1/2 years ago when it was Spa Riviera, which is the last time I went and still a good thing. Spacious rooms, soothing music and aromas, a nice comprehensive menu of services. I received the "Just for Guys" package which is a Men's Facial and 50 min massage. To start off, PJ performed my facial. I don't get facials very often, but they're nice to get when you decide to get them. She is very personable and does her part in working w/ your comfort level. Steph performed my massage. I believe she also performed my last massage as well. It was awesome seeing advice that I had been given still being given about self care. To be honest, the experience last time was a little more personable than this time. Of course I was so relaxed I didn't really feel like I could initiate conversation. I'm kinda guessing she doesn't entirely remember me. Of course I do have new glasses and I've kinda had a little bit of a style enhancement since the beginning of massage school. OH! and can't forget the deceptive chairs that look stationary, but are actually rocking/ swivel chairs! those are awesome! I will say that the Lemon/Eucalyptus soap kinda overpowers any other scent they try to use in their services. So, just a thought, use unscented hand soap. or make sure all the aromas work together. read more

I had a facial once that was so uncomfortable and awkward that I hadn't had one since...that is, until I went to the Riviera Wellness Spa and decided to try it again (was in dire need of a good exfoliation and acne treatment).
