I have been a member of Itan for a few years and have even taken some time off from tanning and came back a few times. I have always had a great experience there and the prices are better than a lot of other salons. The employee's are always friendly and helpful too. Even if I have to wait for a bed, they are always working hard to get me in asap. I love all the deals they gave out too (esp when they do the tan for $1) :D One of the staff members, Alicia, always takes time out to genuinely ask how I am doing and shows me how much she cares (as she does w/ all the other customers too) no matter how busy it is, I always feel welcome and I love watching all the other customers receive the same treatment of being cared for! :D read more

This is the best tanning salon ever! I'm new to the area and they don't have any iTan Solariums where I used to live and I am so excited to have such a nice tanning salon to go to. The girls that work there are awesome and they really provide a friendly atmosphere that makes me want to keep coming back. Not to mention they know what they're talking about! I feel privileged to be able to be a member at such a nice tanning salon because it is nothing like the other ones I have belonged to in the past. Hands down the best ITAN out of all of the franchise's. Workers are very professional and always have an educated answer to a question. Very sanitary! I don't mind waiting a couple extra minutes for the girls to wipe everything off. Out of all the girls I think Megan S. Is the best manager of them all. All of the girls respect her and is very professional with her clients! Every single one that comes in remembers Megan! She always trouble shoots tough problems that I can see. They offer a great variety of tanning beds for every level, plus easy-to-use and fully customizable spray tans that are clean and natural looking. I also love the red light photo facial and the infrared heated body wrap -- such a relaxing bonus. On top of that, their professional teeth whitening is a great add-on. The service is excellent, the products are high quality, they always have promotions, and the staff is always friendly, knowledgeable, and happy to answer questions. I don't have one complaint about this salon. I was a new customer and they gave me a very thorough walk through of all of their services, I had NO idea they had spa services!! I was informed of what products to do what with each service and I couldn't have appreciated the help more! (I don't do things like this as often as I should). I believe Alicia and Sarah were helping me and I ended up signing up for everything which is only 100 bucks a month for sun spray and spa services! no contracts, commitments, easy and painless. love this location!!! love this company!!! read more

I had a wonderful first experience at the Encinitas iTan salon. The two girls up front were extremely polite and welcoming. Claire took care of showing me to the salon room and explaining the process for me. She was very knowledgable about the spray process and what each of the three steps was for. Claire took time in showing me each of the spray positions, as well as after-care instructions to ensure the best results possible. The salon was so clean and as soon as I walked through the door I was greeted with a hello and warm smiles. I was educated with all the packages and the girl helping me knew everything! I then was taken on a tour of the salon so I could see the different types of beds. After I chose my package I learned that the girl helping me was Brianne the manager who was the sweetest.
