I have been coming to the San Marcos location for a few years now as far as customer service goes this one is the best CJ always goes above and beyond all the girls are great though never had a problem with anybody, but CJ always stands out. Also, the area manager Anita is amazing. She has such an awesome personality and goes above and beyond to make sure that you have everything that you need and that any problems that you have, she will take care of. I do frequent the Escondido salon as well. All the girls are great there too whenever I'm in a new area if there's a salon where I am at I will always try it out one thing I noticed that some of the salons allow more time on their beds and I think that the time should be extended on the bids I don't seem to be getting any darker ever I think they limit the time to make us keep coming back just my opinion. Also, it would be nice if they change their bulbs more often. read more

Been coming here for yours never had a problem until Izzy a 20 year old girl wanted to argue with me about the amount of minutes I can goin. (Im a 40 year old half Mexican women) I requested eight minutes and she told me I can only go in seven minutes, the most amount of minutes you can go in is 12 . I have never had anybody at the Tan place do this to me she makes me want to cancel my membership.. I've called on her as well. I've been a member of this Itan forever and it just keeps getting better as they add more services and spa type treatments. But the thing that always stands out to me are the girls at the front desk. They are wonderful. All of them are helpful and so personable and make it such a welcoming experience. I like how they will bring different products to my attention without making me feel uncomfortable or like I'm getting sold. This Itan is clean and has good parking. I love it! read more

Their lowest package is very expensive. All I wanted was to hop in a simple bed but it would be cheaper to get a gym membership at a place that has a tanning bed and just use that. In this economy at least make your lowest basic package price affordable like $50 a month. At the most. Also the music was 2025 pop music. Annoying lady Gaga and people like that. Came in to this location and the WIFI was out, which meant that none of the computers were working, but Olivia & Leah did a fantastic job navigating that situation, which I'm sure was stressful for them to deal with. They stayed very friendly, made the process easy, and we're doing a really good job keeping everything clean even without the computers working correctly to help them. A fabulous place for skin care and tanning. My skin is amazing since coming here. The "Well Fit" Spray Treatment does amazing wonders for the skin when used regularly over time. The Facial Red Light treatment is so relaxing and helpful as we age, now they have full body Red Light treatment as well and of course the great lineless FULL coverage Tanning. The customer service provided by Leah and Hailey is Top Notch and Genuine, pretty much the entire staff makes it a fun place to come, your always made to feel welcome, remembered and the vibe is always top tier. Clean. Requires no basic social skills. Always meet with the same questions and same hostility. Only care about making their sale and quality of service has declined significantly since 2016. Been to this specific location over 5 times and I still don't receive kindness. I am updating all of you regarding my post 10/1/24 with Itan in San Marcos, CA. After I shared what happened, I was contacted by Hailey (Area Manager) to discuss what happened, listened to my concerns, agreed (Coaching) was needed with Devon. Hailey was able to satisfy my issues and concerns and I have agreed to continue services with them again. One thing I suggested that if in the future Itan were to increase services, to also make sure they staff calls each client that is signed up with them even if acct is on hold to let them know of the increase regardless if they sent out email or mail etc... Not sure if they will do that, but Itan has done that years ago when they increased their prices. But I am happy now with upper management calling me to discuss and try to work it out. So, enjoy your services and if you have any issues that you can't get resolved, by me doing a YELP review since Devon would not even tell me who a manager was etc.. the review did get their attention. I ended up going in and both Haily and Carlie helped me out with getting me set up for a monthly membership, explaining more on information with the plans, services and products, and giving me the tour. I've been an Itan customer for over 15 years. I have always been treated well here at the San Marcos franchise, the tan tech's know my name and what I want. There has only been a couple of times over the past several years where I have had an issue with a machine or cleanliness. If there's ever a Itans where I feel they have not been the most friendly or professional I think it's the one in Shadowridge (Vista area) all the rest of them are very sweet. Also if and when you do ever have a problem if you just ask for the owners information they typically will give it freely with no hassle. I am generally in and out within 10 to 12 minutes because I spray tan. I have seen some customers treat the team of girls very bad. But for the most part everyone is friendly if there's ever any downtime while having to wait for a machine the customers typically get along really well with each other. The one item I wished they would bring back into the spray booths is Q-tips because I always have to ask for one or two before I leave, Q-tips are not that expensive and if you just leave some in the room that would be greatly appreciated. read more

I came here not for the reason most come to "tan". I came to spray tan my milky-white skin. When it comes to being almost translucent, you need to be careful with what goes on this skin type. Camryn at the front along with Sierra had my best interest at heart, truly. They went back and forth amongst each other to achieve what they thought would be my ultimate best result.
