Our experience within this store was so outrageously good. The bridal selections that were pulled matched Venue and event. Customizing the gown was shockingly affordable. Best was watching my goddaughter bounce out of the waiting room in what was her, Mine, her mothers and her other godmothers pick. She she didn't want to take it off, we had to get it. I had the best experience with Kimberly! 5 stars for Kimberly, 5 stars for the dresses, but 4 stars for the space. While it is beautiful, I thought that the smaller room didn't feel as special as I imagine the big room does! I had to walk back and forth between a small, somewhat open dressing room, and the staging room where my 3 guests were. I've also been to places that serve champagne, which would have made the experience more special. I do love the gowns. I was looking for a clean, elegant, modern, yet classic dress around $3000 and Kimberly found me plenty! She was so skilled at helping me narrow down my likes without applying pressure or influencing my decision. When I was feeling indecisive at the end of our day, she reminded me to visualize walking down the aisle. It's not about the straps or the fabric or the number of buttons. Make sure you take multiple measurements with a new tape measure and be cautious about split sizes. Measure yourself!! My daughter's dress was so tight she couldn't breathe. What made the experience unpleasant was when the staff tried to tell us she gained two inches/two dress sizes in six months even though she had lost weight and all her clothes were fitting or getting too big!! Everthine offered to give us 20% off a new dress, no thank you! They did not take responsibility for measuring my daughter incorrectly. We even had measurements from other weddings she was in to prove our case. In the end, the designer let the dress out complimentary. read more

Not like your average bridal store! The staff here went above an beyond to accommodate my evolving ideas of my perfect wedding dress. I came back multiple times to try on and each time was made feel special. I was really turned off by some bridal stores that try to make you fall in love with a certain dress this store did not do that!! They really made me think about how I felt in the dress which lead me to finally pick the one. Never did I feel rushed or pushed in a certain direction. I drove 1.5hrs from Rhode Island to go to Everthine Bridal and it was worth every second! It was my first and only time dress shopping because I found my dream dress! It's a small boutique so it was a very private session. Charlotte was my stylist and she was amazing throughout the entire experience. You could really tell how much she cared about you as a bride. She pulled amazing dresses in both styles I wanted and made the whole process very easy. She also made a point while I was wearing the final two dresses to pull me into the other room away from my guests and really focus on how I was feeling and what I envisioned. It made it so much easier to make the final decision. I can't say enough great things about Charlotte from her overall demeanor to her knowledge and suggestions in the ordering process. I really wanted to love this place but had a super poor experience. The appointment started off fine but then it seemed that the woman helping was frustrated that I didn't love what she was pulling. It also felt like she was trying to force me into a dress I didn't love that had a shiny bodice. When I said I didn't like the satin top her response was "actually it's silk" in a very patronizing tone. She also refused to bring me off-the-shoulder dresses when I asked to try that style. To top it all off she ended the 90 minute appointment 30 minutes early and wouldn't let me try on anything else. Seriously, if you want to be a happy bride, don't go here. read more

I honestly don't even know where to begin. My first bridal appointment was at a small boutique in Clinton. It was an adorable boutique, but disheartening because I thought I would never found a dress. I just didn't fall in love with anything and thought my dress void would never be filled. I did not expect wedding dress shopping to be fun or easy, but at Everthine it was both. My appointment was with Ashley and I feel like she literally knew what I wanted better than I did! I'm not one to get super giddy over wearing white, but Everthine had me in fits. The shop itself is adorable (think everything you've ever pinned on Pinterest but got too lazy to follow through on): reclaimed wood, antique fireplaces, chandeliers, the whole nine yards (of tulle). The shop itself is in an 18th-century home in a tiny Connecticut village; it's basically so cute you could die. The consultants and the owner, Chelsea, are warm and welcoming; I felt completely comfortable shopping by myself, and there was no hard sale. (People getting married, you know how rare that is.) There was another bride-to-be trying on gowns at the same time, but rooms are separate; no Filene's cattle call here. Oh, and the dresses. The dresses. If you're looking for something different, Everthine is the place ... possibly the only place near Boston, the Land of L'elite and Vera. The designers Everthine carries range from independents like Elizabeth Dye and Sarah Seven to the vintage-y and intricate Claire Pettibone, Jenny Packham, and Elizabeth Fillmore. Everthine doesn't carry entire lines but rather nicely curated selections from each, with a slight preference for sleeker silhouettes over massive Pnina-esque ballgowns. This shop is for the trendy, unique, fun bride with an eye for design. Lots of vintage flair, and nary a pickup to be found. It's about a two-and-a-half hour drive from Boston, but well worth your time. Bring a friend (just one or two; the shop is tiny). Then find your dream dress. She was so knowledgeable, accommodating, listened to what I wanted/didn't want, and made me feel super comfortable. I don't think I could have found my dress without her. I just ordered my dress from Everthine and am absolutely thrilled about the experience I had at this boutique. I had a wonderful time working with Kimberly and Hillary, who were friendly, honest, and insightful about the various dresses. Chelsea, the owner, has been really helpful with the process of ordering my dress as well. The ladies at Everthine have a brilliant system for helping you figure out which dress is "yours": they (nicely) force you to choose your favorite between Dress 1 and 2, then between that dress and Dress 3, and so on-- like a tournament bracket, or a trip to the eye doctor. In my case, the second gown I tried was The One, although it took me a few rounds of other contenders to fully accept it as such. The store itself is a quaint former home in the sleepy town of Madison and is filled with the cutest decor ever. The collection of gowns is also very well-curated (Kimberly put me in an awesome Sarah Seven dress that I hadn't been able to find in New York-- it almost, but not quite, won the day). I had my first bridal gown shopping experience at Everthine Bridal and it was so, so wonderful that I sometimes catch myself daydreaming about that place. I was a bit nervous about the whole thing but from the moment I stepped in the door I was immediately put to ease. Theresa and Hilary were my stylists and took the time to listen to my vision and preferences before ushering me into the little changing area to try on the first gown. In terms of gown selection I feel like the dresses were handpicked especially for me. I tried on close to 10 gowns during the appointment and loved probably 90% of them. It was so hard to narrow it down because all the gowns are so unique and gorgeous! Since this was my first time trying on dresses Theresa and Hilary picked several different silhouettes, styles, and textures and my favorite ended up being a mermaid silhouette which I would never have thought looked good on me. We also had some fun playing with accessories and trying on different sashes, flower crowns, and jewelry which really customized each look. I did not end up purchasing a dress that day because I'm the kind of person that needs to sit on a decision for a while but I already made an appointment for next month. I just have a feeling that no other bridal store will live up to my experience at Everthine and that the mermaid dress I fell in love will end up being the one! read more

The boutique is lovely and we found a beautiful dress. When the dress arrived it was too small. You could see the bride's bellybutton, back crack and pelvic line through the dress. This was not how it looked on the sample dress. However the the form was signed. As soon as we got home we knew it was mistake. We contacted the shop and we were offered no recourse or solution except to purchase another dress. We were told to wear in the dress like a pair of jeans. The dress is a size 0. The seamstress we brought the dress to said a size 4 should have been ordered. The alterations will cost over $1,000. Another seamstress said the whole upper part of the dress would have to be taken apart and altered. The dress cost $2,500. A word of advice don't pay the final deposit until you have tried on the dress and have someone else with you at the final fitting. We hesitate to leave a bad review but the customer service was non existent. We know it is hard to be in business these days but we don't want another bride go through this experience. Fortunately, our seamstress is using excess fabric from the hem to alter the dress. We are waiting to see the dress with the final alterations. read more

They are responsive to emails, know their products, are very understanding of budgetary concerns and, to top it all off, we had a great laugh while I was there. They are personable, listen to what you want and work hard with the stock they have to give you ideas on how you could make the dress work perfectly for your body with alterations. My sister got her wedding dress from Everthine so I was really excited about my appointment. When my sister, mom, grandma and I arrived for our appointment we walked in on an ongoing appointment. The shop is very small so I'm not sure if there is an additional door we should have used. I write this because when we walked in 5 minutes early (at the most 10 minutes) we were met with glares and a sharp, "you can sit in the waiting area." We did not mean to intrude and wish we had known if there was a different protocol. When my appointment started the woman helping us asked if I was looking for something in particular. I said this was my first time trying on dresses and showed her a few pictures. My mother said she thought I would look good in a "mermaid" or "fit & flare." The woman said they did not have those dresses in the store, that the gowns are very unique. It was pretentious. Yes, your gowns are unique and beautiful, but a better answer would have been, "so you're looking for something like a 'mermaid' or 'fit & flare', let me see what we have along those lines." The woman picked out a few dresses, maybe 5, and seemed strained in her willingness to show more than that although we had plenty of time. I found a dress I really liked and continued to think about months after but did not want to work with the woman who worked with us again. Out of the 4 shops I went to Everthine provided the worst customer service. Every other shop encouraged me to think about the dresses and get in touch. Everthine asked me "is this dress?" several times and was more aggressive than other shops. The store has gorgeous dresses, I just ended up with someone who I didn't mesh with. read more

I had the most wonderful experience at Everthine. The shop is beautiful, and they were so accommodating to my friends and I. My vision was lacy and bohemian, which Chelsea selected for me while respecting my budget. She also had me try on a more sleek gown by Sarah Seven who was my favorite designer. This one that she had me try on "just to see" that was completely different from the others was the winner. She put my hair in a low bun, when I never wear my hair up and it was perfect. This owner knows her stuff! She also suggests that you try on a smaller number of gowns as to not get overwhelmed. This was the perfect advice, as at my next appointment there were too many options which got tiring and confusing. I would highly recommend Everthine to anyone looking for their dress. read more

I went to what seemed like a thousand bridal salons in search of a dress, and this place was by far the loveliest experience I had. I went specifically to see the Rosa Clara Soft collection (I'm not sure there's anywhere else in the Northeast that has it), but wound up finding loads of dresses that fit what I was looking for (the elusive non-strapless wedding dress, for an outdoor orchard wedding), which was rare! The building itself is an idyllic little house built in the 1700s. The inside is beautifully designed but also really cozy and relaxed! The owner was really lovely, I didn't once feel I was being recited a sales pitch, and she didn't rush me at all. My one hour appointment turned into almost 2, and I didn't even notice! The dress collection isn't huge, but seems quite carefully hand-picked from mostly smaller designers, i think most of them (but not all) are American brands. Probably not for the bride looking for very formal/taffeta/big skirts/long trains (although I didn't really ask for this sort of thing). My only complaint would be that there weren't more samples from each collection, though the lady there was very open to ordering things for me to try. Pictures are allowed. (My mum got carried away and took lots of arty shots of the boutique itself!). They also have lots of lovely veils and accessories, but (as in all bridal shops), some of these seemed overly expensive. I confess, I didn't purchase a dress from Everthine in the end, but I'm giving it 5 stars because it was such a lovely place, I wish I had found it there! Best of luck. read more

Got my wedding dress, veil, and accessories from Everthine and couldn't have had a better experience! First off, the atmosphere is unlike your usual bridal salon--in the BEST way possible. It's situated in an old house with whimsical, vintage touches throughout. It feels like being in someone's chic, beautiful home--but there are tons of gorgeous white dresses and ethereal accessories on display! I had so much fun trying on dresses in the upstairs room (well, really the whole upstairs floor!) with Charlotte. She was so sweet and helpful, and really nailed my whole vision. My only "complaint" was how quickly I found a dress (I wanted to keep trying things on for fun and just hang out--really, you will too!). But up next was the accessorizing!!! O M G--the belts, the veils, the headpiece. I ended up buying a vine and sparkle crown/headband of sorts, and a gold and pearl headband. Completely different than accessories you'd find elsewhere. Plus, MADISON, CT! I live in Stamford, CT and my parents live on Long Island, so it was a bit of a trek, but always so exciting to come there. The town is Gilmore Girls-style adorable--be sure to stay for lunch after your appointment! It's absolutely worth the journey.
