The side of my property has been left torn up for an extended period, my sprinkler system was damaged, my French drain was covered with concrete, and construction debris--including trash and beer cans--was repeatedly left on or blown onto my property. What disappointed me most was the lack of communication and accountability. Despite numerous requests, many of these issues remained unresolved. A particularly troubling incident occurred when my 73-year-old sister slipped in the mud alongside my home because the area had been left in an unsafe condition. No one from Sitterle contacted me to ask if she was injured or to complete an incident report. For a company that builds premium homes, I expected a much higher level of professionalism, respect, and customer care. Instead, I have experienced repeated delays, poor communication, and a lack of urgency in addressing legitimate concerns. I hope Sitterle Homes takes greater responsibility for the impact its construction projects have on neighboring homeowners and improves its customer service.

We have just lived in our new build Brightland Home for 2 years. Last year around 14 months living…read morein the new home and rain season happening I placed a work order in for a roof repair which is causing a leak from the second floor to the bottom floor master bathroom. When i say leak it it more of a stream anytime it rains and it comes pouring down the bathroom vent. It has flooded our bathroom floor several times. We have been contacting warranty and customer care to help solve this issue but being hit with "out of year warranty". This year with the heavy rain our ceiling is trashed and we have had several roof inspectors sharing how this is a building error or a way they cut edges. Not proper vent installation, not proper calking of areas, possible cheap materials use to get the work done. For a brand new home less than two years in to have roofing issues and major leaking or lack of proper installation of a roof is unacceptable and unbelievable to me. I would suggest not using this builder has they don't look out for the homebuyers and selling new homes with major issues.

And again, I'm hearing of a lot of warranty issues occurring with Scott felder homes. I haven't even updated my wife yet about the new delays I'm afraid she'll kill me for choosing Scott felder.
