Hit the beach or Golden Gate Park when you're through, Or make Butterfly Joint the destination for you. At first glance, you might think it's just coffee and treats, But there's something even more special behind the scenes. Danny has been working with kids for 30 plus years, Building confidence, life skills, and plenty of cheers. The workshops are hands-on with woodworking fun, Teaching real tools, not toy versions for everyone. But before the projects begin, there's one lesson that's clear: Manners, respect, and safety always come first here. The kids even head to the park during the day, Mixing fresh air and adventure into the play. They leave with a project they're proud to display, And lessons that will stick with them long after today. Meanwhile, the coffee window is reason enough to stop by, Serving donuts, cookies, sweet treats, and my favorite, chai. Espresso, pastries, and all the classics too, There's something delicious waiting for you. Whether you're dropping off your kids for an unforgettable day, Or just grabbing a coffee before heading on your way, Butterfly Joint is one of those neighborhood gems you'll adore, Come for the caffeine, stay for the community and leave with so much more.

Every week she learns something new: new styles, materials, and techniques. Sometimes they focus on painting, other times on sculpture or different forms of art. Katia and Sara have both been her teachers, and she has felt happy and supported with all of them. Like with many activities at this age, it took a couple of weeks for her to fully adjust and feel familiar with the environment but consistency made a big difference. As parents, we appreciate seeing her come home excited and proud of what she created. It is easy to notice how much she has progressed over time and we get very excited when we see her project. We also appreciate the communication style of the school. They provide a high-level overview each week of what the kids will be working on, which keeps parents informed without overwhelming us with too much information. On the administrative side, tuition payments and renewals are simple, and the staff has always been friendly and helpful whenever we have had questions or needed help resolving any mistakes on our part. We also love the location. Depending on the day and who is with me, it is easy to wait nearby at the library, a coffee shop, or a restaurant while class is in session.

I grew a lot from this class, and received specific feedback and guidance for my needs. I loved the format of this class and how it challenged me to take on complex subject matters. It was not for the entertainment of others. I am an Executive Assistant and my role can be stressful. Turns out executive work is incredibly stressful. Executives work around the clock. I decided to do something for myself so I signed up with Songbird. I didn't anticipate my voice would improve so much. I have gone from people grimacing when I sing to people stopping what they are doing to listen in. I have developed the confidence to sing in open mikes in bars. I sing in front of friends. My voice has completely transformed. Songbird studios is one of the best investments I have made. No matter how stressful my week is, I can count on my weekly lesson. It gives me a sense of peace and stability. The coaches are incredibly dedicated and empathetic. Singing is vulnerable and they create a safe space to learn. I truly recommend this to anyone who is looking to improve their voice and have a good place to go every week.

Masha brought so much experience to our lessons. She could always explain technique in an approachable way and really helped shaped my solo. She gave me the confidence I needed to sing in front of the judge's panel. Ultimately, I nailed my audition and began singing with Chorus. I stopped taking lessons with them and rejoined this year in preparation for a solo audition. I currently take lessons with Gary Brintz. Gary has become a huge mentor. The work I did with him helped me earn the opportunity to solo for SF GMC at Davies Symphony Hall with the SF Symphony. I sang "Rocket Man" by Sir Elton John to an audience of about 2700 people. He believed in my voice when I didn't. He helped me expand my range to hit the notes I needed for my performance. It was one of the most epic nights of my life and I simply could not have done with it without Gary's support and guidance. How do you get to Carnegie Hall? Take lessons at Songbird Studios!

We wanted to continue and asked about other options. They offered a semi-private option, but they then tried to up-charge us more money to continue and nickeling and diming us the entire interaction. We had wanted to stay, but they clearly did not value our business when they made little attempt at retaining us or offering other alternatives. Seems like they just wanted to give us the refund to get us out of their hair and Instead they took that as an opportunity to try to get more money out of us. Kiddo loved the classes, but service and accountability was not there, super disappointing.
