You will witness her do this while taking the plates, filling the water, and offering dessert to everyone around you, including people who came much later. When pressed, she claimed she thought I was 'in a meeting' because I was on my laptop - despite me not talking, wearing headphones, nor having Zoom up. In other words she lied to our faces. You know how, when you are at a restaurant, you look around and meet eyes with your server and she comes over? Ever do that for two hours - in a small place where she is constantly less than 6 feet away - and have her NEVER do that? Draw your own conclusions. By the way - myself and my companion who was also shocked at our service have served in all kinds of places, from small cafes to fine dining at luxury places...and in the nicer places this would be unfathomable.
