Vito came out this morning to give me a bid on a few gfi's that I need installed as well as a few other things needed. While he was here I asked him to look at an extension cord that another electrician unplugged & just shoved into the wall. ***(The extension cord was rigged to bring electricity to an outlet & had caught fire which is the only reason we found out it was illegally rigged, one more thing to add on my 1-Star review of the garbage home inspector we used, BuyRight Home Inspections, go read my review on him!)*** Vito confirmed what I suspected, the wires should not have been shoved into the wall, the extension cord should have been removed/thrown out, which Vito did and it took him about 45 seconds (see pic) Obviously the previous electrician will not be getting a return call or a 5-Star review. Right now I'm awaiting Vito's bid on the rest of the items we discussed. Hoping he is affordable as he is honest & on time and those are very hard traits to find nowadays. Need an electrician? Hire Evolution Electric! I recently bought a two bedroom one bath house built in 1940 in East Sac. The electrical definitely needed updating. The owner of Evolution Electric, Vito, is warm, highly competent and a man of integrity. He listened attentively and was responsive to my specific needs. The crew is also wonderful and did an outstanding job of patiently grounding all the outlets by connecting each wire from the crawl space under my house. They also added and upgraded new outlets, put a large lighted fan in a room where there had previously been zero overhead lighting and wired and hung a complicated new chandelier above my dining room table. All for a very reasonable price while being Covid conscious and responsible. The job took several days and the entire team consistently arrived on time, were kind and motivated, respectful of my property and performed excellent quality electrical work.
