Very sick.... lying on the bathroom floor wanting to die sick. I knew I needed to get some help but didn't want to be one of the many people abusing the emergency room facilities of University Community Hospital on a weekend night when there are people ACTUALLY dying. So I googled "24/7 urgent care in Tampa" and found this place. I called ahead and was informed that there was no wait and that payment was due on-site. Fine with me, better than a $3000 bill and a six hour wait. Upon arrival, I realized that the facility was not what I expected for an urgent care center... in fact, it's more an independent medical clinic. It was so dimly lit that we thought it was closed- until we were greeted by a barking guard dog(s) and an alarm stating payment is due upfront. Luckily, I love dogs so that didn't bother me at all. I hesitated maybe 5 seconds due to the alarm, but honestly I was way too nauseated to really care and we proceeded to go inside. Once inside, it was more like a normal clinic. Filled out some paperwork and was on my way to getting better. The doctor (Marc Blum) is in fact available at all times, and his practice covers a range of different general areas. I'll again spare the details, but after he determined it was in fact food poisoning and not something truly life-threatening, the rest was fairly simple. I had never had an injection for nausea before but it seemed to work after maybe a half hour. I was not all "with it" in my state but left with a script and feeling somewhat on the road to recovery. I'll be honest, my initial impression of Dr. Blum's facility was mixed but I'm glad that I kept an open mind and went through with it because it saved me money and helped with my nausea. Payment is due upfront, no exceptions- but he will file a claim to your insurance. They make it very clear and that's probably how they are able to keep costs low. For a place that will treat you at 9:00pm on a Friday night, I'm willing to pay almost $200 to feel better! I found Dr. Blum to be very professional although I'm sure I was not the most responsive patient ever. I've also found his office staff to be pleasant and helpful and they have helped me with a few subsequent issues pretty promptly. If I ever have a last minute health problem again, I will return here. It's kind of out of the ordinary but for someone who has minimal or no health insurance (but enough cash to pay of course) this place is a safe bet and your condition is probably treatable by Dr. Blum. They have even called to check up on me and written prescriptions for my continuing symptoms. I believe that the clinic itself offers a variety of programs and options, but for open-minded people in need of urgent care at all hours of the night, I recommend coming here first.

She then switched gears and blamed my hormones on my weight gain. I have never had any issues with menopause or hormones but trusted her expertise. She had me on hormone replacement and Semaglutide and still no weight loss. Once I stopped her injections of semaglutide, her attitude towards me changed dramatically. She was irritated over any question I had for her about billing or products. My pharmacy stated she was very rude to them when they questioned a prescription strength. She upped my hormone meds and now I am experiencing noticeable hair loss. When I spoke with her about this, she told me no other woman she has treated has this issue so the best thing to do is stop taking the medications. I feel if I am not paying for her weight loss products, she could care less about trying to help me.
