Two staff members are to care for, bathe, feed, clean up after, and so on, 15 elderly who need a lot of support. The food is extremely unhealthy. No fresh vegetables and no fresh fruits. Most foods are greasy and overly salted. "Fruit" is canned and mixed in cool whip substance, and vegetables are from a can. Medical decisions are not in line with current medical protocols. If you place someone here, consider supplementing with a private assistant. Many of the reviews are culled as soon as someone places a person at the facility. Reviews are not offered after residents have been at the facility for a while. After my parent passed away, we did not receive a card or any kind of acknowledgement.

My elderly stepfather returned to this facility recently after being there nine months ago. This experience has been a nightmare. Communication is practically nonexistent. Both my sister and I left repeated voicemails and emails for the head of nursing, the facility, Director, and the social workers, barely any responses When we did manage to get someone on the phone we were met with rudeness and hostility. My stepfather began vomiting and having diarrhea on a Wednesday. He was weak, and we could tell something was seriously wrong. Unfortunately, we have autoimmune disorder so we could not go in in person. It took until Friday to get a clear update, and even then, we had to push hard just to speak to someone. I told the head of nursing who was struggling to breathe, she argued with me saying His labs and his chest x-ray looked good and insisted he was stable. I asked if they had done a Covid and/or flu test. She dismiss the idea entirely. Only after I demanded testing did they run one, and guess what? Positive for Covid even then they resisted transferring him to the hospital until we threatened legal action. He was finally moved, and once there, we learned he had a collapsed lung and was admitted directly into the ICU. The head of nursing casually told me she doesn't return calls because she has approximately 157 patients and they're short staffed. That's just unprofessional, not to mention dangerous I would never send another loved one here. What was once a decent facility is now a place I wouldn't trust with anyone's care. Absolutely heartbreaking and unacceptable .

Note the generous portion of potato chips. This is clearly a nutritionally designed/balanced meal to insure my body has the proper nutrients to sustain the 3 hours of intensive physical therapy scheduled for each day. Sarcasm intended. Let's see what each day holds in store for me. I will continue to refuse such substandard food service from this facility.

Her advocacy, attentiveness, and personal investment made a meaningful difference in my mother's recovery and in our family's peace of mind. It was clear that Alissa genuinely cared, and her efforts did not go unnoticed. What moved me most was witnessing the level of humanity in the care provided. Therapists celebrated small victories that meant everything to our family. Nurses were consistently present, reassuring, and deeply compassionate--not only toward my mother, but toward us as well.
