Evolution "medical" Spa, INFLICTED THIRD DEGREE BURNS on about 20% of my FACE with an E2 fractal laser. Leaving me, with PERMANENT SCARS that I must protect, from the sun, until the day I die. This occurred 2 months before my wedding in July 2023. I've waited over a year to post a review. I wanted to see if the burns would heal, and they have not. My dermatologist told me I would have these scars for the rest of my life. I've spent $$$$$, caring for these burns and subsequent deep scars. To make a long story short, the owner, and the receptionist, were deceitful and lied throughout this incident denying any fault. When I asked them for the procedure information on file, they handed me a sealed 8x10 envelope and I foolishly waited to open when I got home. The envelope contained the form I filled out prior to procedure. They refused to give me the file, saying that it was much too abstract and difficult for the average person to understand. Days later the owner said that I would have to hire a lawyer to get it. The owner told me, "you'll never be able to sue me", but I never even mentioned the word, "sue". Guilty people become defensive and prepare for a lawsuit. I believe it's my duty to warn and report to any and all in my neighborhood. They do not care about you as a person. I ended up canceling my appointment for today because of the unexpected crazy snow. I rescheduled for tmrw and found out it was with the owner DeeDee. My sister had her once and we didn't like her work.. we didn't notice much from the hydrafacial performed by her and we always notice a difference after that treatment. She ended up trying Kendra as I recommended and she really liked her; also there was a noticeable difference in Kendra's work with that one treatment. Anyways, I asked to keep me with Kendra and she mentioned she's no longer there.. so the appointment I had today which was WITH Kendra again... would've been with someone else! This is the same bull they pulled on me with my last visit (mentioned in the previous commentso I'm done with this place. I really liked this place as I started coming more and more for hydrafacials until I found out that I kept getting a new tech. I go here all the time and have nothing but great things to say about the staff. Well, everyone except the owner, or CEO, Dede. I visit here once every 2 months for laser and just happened that my consultant was out on one of my dates so the receptionist asked me if I would see Dede this time. Worse decision ever! Of course being the owner, I figured this has got to be a better experience as she must know her machines. Sorry to say but it was exactly the opposite. She was rushed, unprofessional, aggressive, and I resulted in burns even-though I repeatedly warned her things didn't feel right and I maybe the setting was too high. She dismissed me and continued along. I scarred from that experience. She is rude, obnoxious and from reading her replies to some of the bad reviews on here, clearly unqualified and arrogant. I bought a Groupon to do my underarms at Evolution. It was such a good deal and one of my friends was currently receiving laser hair removal, so I thought why not?! So I started going and I have to say everyone is so friendly here and they make you feel very comfortable. Yes, they do suggest doing other treatments, but that's their job to raise awareness to other services that they offer! If I had more money I would continue to go. I gave it a 4/5 because I feel like it could be a tad bit more affordable, $100 a session for bikini seemed like a lot to me. Especially after paying around $100 for my underarms via Groupon. Unfortunately, I think you can only use a Groupon once there. I have had great success with the laser hair removal. I'm on my second to last treatment and I barely have any growth at all. Brittany did my hydra facial & my face looks so smooth, plump, fresh & new! She was amazing & really got deep into my pores. She explained to me about how to care for my face without breaking my bank & suggested a few products to use to help me with taking better care of my skin. She was friendly & caring & really wanted me to get the best care for my skin. I highly recommend her for any type of care for your skin. TOTAL RIP OFF! I bought a 6 session package for Laser hair removal in a large area.That was suppose to cover a Brazilian. Every time I would go in their they charged me an extra $100. Just a phone call and it was a horrible experience I can't image what it would be like if I was actually seen by one of these idiots. Great specials, great staff. I have been getting treatments for under arm hair removal as well as bikini line hair removal. So far so good, it is not an overnight process. It will take at least five treatments before you start seeing any real results. However I was able to get in on a good package price for both. read more

Not impressed at all. Bought as a groupon for laser removal treatment. I found them to be not very professional, starting with my initial consult and the receptionist always had her big winter coat on which just looked odd. My main grip is that the laser machine was NEVER on when I promptly arrived for my appointment and I would have to wait 25 mins for it to warm up. I thought at first it was because I had an early appointment so for my 3rd treatment I scheduled a later time- same issue. They send enough appointment reminders so they know I'm coming, the machine should be ready to go! And a few times I had to wait for a tech to show up. Would not recommend. read more

Dede was extremely unprofessional and rude! I came in to get a tad bit of filler reversed, and she started asking me dozens of questions about where I had it done, whether the person that did the filler was certified, how dangerous it was to get filler under the eye, and so forth. She made me feel as if I was an idiot for getting filler done in the first place. She stated she would not help me (even though she could), because she did not want to "risk it" being under the eye. Wow! Isn't that what she is certified for? So I completely wasted my time going there, and quickly found another technician that was MUCH MORE QUALIFIED to handle my concerns. Great friendly staff that is very attentive! Got a hydrafacial here and loved the entire process! New patient paperwork was easy and I was in and out within an hour-ish. Really enjoyed their face scanner! It detected how much sun damage I had on my skin, wrinkles, and acne scarring! Santina made the process very smooth and since this was the first time I received any sort of facial on my skin she made sure to explain what she was doing and check on my level of comfort regularly during the whole process. This place is just awful...looks nice from the outside and in the lobby but its a scam. They just want your money and don't care about helping you. I went in there to get help with my acne scars...they used a laser which I have now found out is outdated and not appropriate for my skin. My skin completely broke out in pimples and cysts...when I called the spa for help, they said to go to my dermatologist because theirs was in New York! $100 later after having to get steroid creams, oral antibiotics, and topical antibiotics, I called to ask for a refund. I was told I would be sent a refund and then never heard from the spa again and did not receive my refund. read more

I went for microdermabrasion regularly and was happy with Lindsay. However, they always try to upsell. When I decided to get Botox there instead of my regular provider, I was unhappy with the results. Two phone calls, two letters, and a visit to the clinic and still no resolution. The owner is VERY rude and defensive and would rather lose a customer than try to address the issue. She basically asked me if I had seen the before & after pictures and I said I see my face everyday and it still has movement and deep grooves. She wouldn't budge...acted like I was telling her a story. So fine...looking for another spa for all my needs but disappointed because the rest of her staff is great. I started with a Groupon for 3 microderm abrasions at a great deal. The staff is very friendly and Brittany was very nice. However, they did try to upsell everytime I was there. Making sure I made my next appointment even if I didn't want one. My experience with the Velashape was my last straw. I was told 6 treatments recommended and came in a package and i wanted a change. I stuck with it and $900 later I had no showing results. Then on one of my last treatments, I sat waiting in the room for a half hour after my appointed time, while the owner was raging to someone in the other room. She was to do my treatment! I left after 45 min and said I would make my next appointment later. Next appointment, no apology, and raved how she was the best and this was going to work! NOT. I just went back to my previous medical spa, had a facial that was10X better than their "Hydrafacial" and under half the cost! Don't waste your money here. OVERPRICED AND UNDERSTATISFIED! read more

Beware. Botox for glabella will not be injected as you would expect and not according to how Allergan or probably any other doctor would inject. The Licensed Medical Esthetician (LME) here treated me with two injection points between my eyebrows vs five injection points along the top of the brow line and that just does not work. For her records, she only took post op photos at rest, no post op photo with me frowning. Twenty units and completely ineffective results. I called Allergan for recourse and they established a case and told me they would credit the units back to the practice to retreat or reimburse me, but the practice has to call in and cooperate. The practice would not cooperate 1. because they said they are trained and can inject as they see fit and they don't like me telling them how to do their job and 2. because they said I bought a Groupon for one area and that was only supposed to be 15 units and they put in 20. I replied, how I purchased one area and what I paid is irrelevant to the effectiveness of the treatment. She told me to have a nice day and go elsewhere. Beware. read more

I purchased lower leg hair removal package and was excited to give it a try. My visits were spaced exactly and instructed yet I voiced that I was not seeing results. My technician was nice enough but acted as if she was doing all she could. The next time I went in the technician I normally saw had left and I discovered that she had not been turning the machine up to advance the hair removal I mentioned it to the front desk and they gave me several additional treatments. The problem is I am 5 months out and I now have hair growing back. I know several people who have had this treatment done elsewhere and this is not ok.
