I just wanted to say that Dr. Turay is truly wonderful. She is always professional, caring, and…read moreattentive, and she takes the time to really listen to her patients. I sincerely appreciate the excellent care and kindness she provides. Please pass along my gratitude to her and the staff.

Poor customer service. I made a visit to this office after getting bitten from my cat. Good thing I…read moregot my wonderful pet rabies shots. It was a pain to drive my car with one hand, so in turn, I was 8 minutes late. The receptionist told me they would reschedule my appointment because they had this 5 minute rule (they showed me the sign on the desk to prove it, or to rub it in because it seemed like the lead receptionist enjoyed in canceling the appointment) This receptionist also argued with me when I asked to speak to a manager and even threatened she wouldn't cancel any future appointment. Who's the boss here, the receptionist or the doctors? I spoke to the manager and she was of no help. It seems like this office thrives on bullying the customer. Customers keep them in business. It's like biting the hand that feeds you. (MY CAT!) So my appointment was rescheduled for hours later (keep in mind my hand is still in pain, infected and swollen. I guess no one cares if I lose my hand to infection.) I met with a nurse and she was very friendly and sent me off with antibiotics. I was better in about 2 weeks. It is like two different world's at this office. The front office is like a 3rd world country type of customer service, and the back office is like what people think America should be- First world civilized country wanting to take care of you. To add, when I left in the elevator after the first appointment was canceled another patient from the waiting room agreed with me. They said the customer service is ridiculous. I wonder how many others think the same. Running a business is difficult. The easiest part if taking care of customers-it is if you actually care about them. I am not sure how a physician office can operate and hate the customer. Seems counterintuitive. Avoid this office unless you're craving some drama in your life.

Finally found physical therapist Daniel Ontiveros here after 2 hip surgeries followed by a knee…read moreinjury caused by the Medstar Rehab I had been using that put right knee in a brace. It was an overdue stroke of luck! Unlike other locations, including the Rockville location of this firm, he did not bring up a computer program, type in relevant joint and run me through what program queued up. He carefully crafted a regimen tailored to my problems using a paper chart involving a lot of exercises that didn't come up with computer program, and slowly progressed me without causing any new injuries or problems, more than making up for functional losses accumulated over prior year in 12 weeks. He worked with me personally for at least first half hour of every hour, and actually supervises the PT assistants for second half hour. I can't say enough good things about Daniel. Also, location has moved, so address above is incorrect.

He explains things well and always shares views of my images, pointing out areas of concern and interest. He answers all questions to my satisfaction, assumes I am intelligent enough to understand what he says, but patiently explains when I do not. He always greets me with a warm, welcoming smile--even when I know he is having a hectic day. He has performed two surgeries for me, after attempting to relieve the problems with therapies of one sort or another. I have had no complications with either surgeries, recovery time, or follow-up. He is willing to admit when an issue or problem is out of his purview and ready to refer to whom he feels is the best to handle it. Dr. Levin's direct assistants are friendly, helpful, and efficient. The front office staff could be a bit friendlier and welcoming, especially in the Germantown office where I most frequently see him, but they are not rude or impolite. I most heartily recommend him to anyone needing his specialized services.
