I will be quite honest in how i say things per different aspects of care and other things. Food generally good to just ok. Some of the nursing people were super sweet and helpful. Some were not. In waiting for help to use the bathroom as I think most know they don't want you to do things alone. I finally went on my own. I had made some mess. The nurse who finally answered the call was mad at me for making a mess. I should had waited I was told. It already was 30 minutes or more i waited. There was a night nurse who was handing out meds. Two things about this. I at times asked what is this pill. She took an attitude with me. All your meds are listed on some papers they gave me. I told her, those papers don't say its a red pill or blue capsule or any description so i know which is which. This happened a few times. During the day when I asked a med nurse a question, i was told of a med i know longer take regularly and not taken for a long time. This not a complaint on this nurse. But of the facility. I told them i no longer take this and why is it still on the list of meds i take. One med i needed it took some arm twisting to get. I wanted an anti-inflammatory as it helped me get moving more and do better in rehabing quicker. This partly the hospital I think in maybe not putting on list of needed drugs as i had to twist the hospital dr to give me it. It was helping me progress. I'm no druggie. I wasn't wanting to get hooked on OxyContin. I only took when i felt bad enough. Some other nurses had an attitude. The front office was an issue too. I hope i never go there again if i ever need a Rehab or Nursing need. I just need to at least give some credit for some of the nursing there. Some of the people there should not be working with the public. I'll stop here.

Five years ago, I dropped my drug-addicted husband off at Cornerstone, a $35,000 program for which…read moremy insurance and I paid. I wish I had listened to the many Cornerstone professionals (like Scott and Lin) who told me how hard life was going to be with my husband's many psychological issues they diagnosed accurately within the first week. Their advice to me was to divorce him because he would never be faithful, never be truthful, never be ethical, never be compromising, and NEVER care for anyone but himself. He suffered from Narcissistic Personality Disorder, severe abandonment issues, severe codependency, pathological lying, and many other serious mental disorders, they told me. Being newly married and pregnant (a non-viable pregnancy because of my husband's long-time and serious drug abuse), I stayed by his side. Five years later, we are divorced. Six months after he began working as a pharmacist again, he stole drugs from work, powdered them, cooked them, and shot them intravenously in our bathroom. (I secretly reported him for this, but his pathological lying got him out of two program-ordered urine tests.) A month after that, he filed a lawsuit to evict his own mother from the family farm that was in his name. (It didn't work, and now he is estranged from his mom's family.) Six months later, he began an extramarital affair with his married technician. Then he made false reports to 911 to try to have me evicted from our house. (He was arrested and evicted instead.) A year later, he has lost his pharmacist license permanently and is working fast food drive-thru. He is also facing criminal charges for harassment, intimidation, HIPAA violations, and CSMD violations. This may sound like anything but a success story for Cornerstone, but my husband's failures were not Cornerstone's fault but his own. The mental health professionals quickly and accurately diagnosed him, told us both hard truths, did their due diligence to help him, and supported him in getting his professional medical license reinstated. They afforded him every opportunity to change. My review is to thank Cornerstone for trying to help my husband. My review is also for family members to understand Cornerstone is a reputable rehabilitation facility, not a magic pill. Success ultimately depends on the patient. Cornerstone is a superbly staffed and operated drug rehab program.

When clients have come to the owners about these issues NOTHING is done. This puts clients mental health at risk but they don't seem to care. If they don't have anyone to cover these positions they just let the problem ones keep their job with no repercussions. The tech Jerome and Mary who does sound bath are the only trustable and reliable employees there. Corey is the owner and is afraid of confrontation so he would rather not confront the issues instead of improve his business. I have personally seen items get stolen from my friend and the person who did it got a job as a House Manager. I actually wanted and needed to be there but that didn't matter to them but it is by Gods grace I am no longer there. BYW my name is Holly Dalton recent client. Not afraid to tell the truth.
