Unfortunately, the visit itself was completely different. Despite telling the office multiple times that our insurance information had already been submitted electronically and that we no longer have a physical insurance card, we were asked for it over and over again. While we were there, the chiropractor was loudly arguing with someone on the phone, and we heard the other person accuse him of doing something illegal. We also observed staff being asked to run personal errands to his house during business hours. When he finally came into the exam room, the first thing he said was, "I know you, you're from the hood," which was both strange and unprofessional since we're not even from the area. The office had an unpleasant odor, and the amount of cologne he was wearing was overwhelming. Throughout the visit, he repeatedly stared our daughter up and down. She is autistic and naturally avoids eye contact, and the interaction made us very uncomfortable. We decided to leave before any treatment began. Instead of respecting our decision, he followed us out to our vehicle and continued trying to convince us to come back inside. While we were in the office, we also observed that patients were offered a discount or free item in exchange for leaving a positive Google review. That gave us additional reason to question whether the online ratings accurately reflect patients' experiences. If this review is dismissed as fake or claims are made that we were never there, that is simply not true. We were absolutely there, and this review reflects our firsthand experience. Looking back, I wish we had recorded our visit because it would have eliminated any question about what happened. Our experience raised multiple red flags, and we did not feel comfortable or safe continuing care. Based on what we experienced, I cannot recommend this practice and would encourage others to consider a different provider.

The support staff is delightful! They are helpful, cheery, and just adorable in every way possible. As the practice's first point-of-contact, no improvements need to be made. They are on top of communication and always make sure you know your next appointment and what you may expect from your visit. Dr. Quinn is highly knowledgeable, empathetic, sympathetic, funny, articulate, gentle, and caring. This is one of maybe three doctors I've ever seen that I have no doubt why they do what they do. He exudes genuine care and compassion. If you're a chronic pain sufferer, you know how rare this quality is in a provider. Before you make an appointment, learn about NUCCA. Educating yourself is as important as advocating for yourself! The upper cervical manipulation may seem like it's not ideal for your injury or ailment, but remember everything is connected. I never would have expected that adjusting my Atlas bone would positively affect my lower back--and a few other issues! While the adjustments aren't a cure, and also not wholly effective, I do get relief from them regularly. Don't go into your appointment expecting a miracle. Set your expectations reasonably. I don't expect I will ever be 100% pain-free, so I hope for the best relief Dr. Quinn can provide me, and he hasn't failed me. Be aware that this practice may be out-of-network for your insurance provider and plan accordingly. The out-of-pocket cost isn't bad, relatively speaking. I'm a nurse, and have had chronic migraines since I was 12 year old and occipital neuralgia for the…read morepast 4 years. My migraines would dictate my life and control what I could and could not do. Some days I would be running at 50% being able to go to work but not do my best. Others I was running on fumes and not able to do anything but stay in bed, in a dark room, with ice. When my occipital neuralgia was flared with a migraine, it felt like an icepick was being stabbed into the side of my head repeatedly. Graphic, I know, but it is the horrible truth. My migraines were affecting my job, my graduate school classes, and my social life. I had more bad days than good ones. I've exhausted all the different pharmacological (medication) treatments in treating and preventing migraines with little luck. I've tried a boat load of different devices, nerve stimulators, essential oils, different pillows, you name it, I tried it if it promised headache and migraine relief. I was referred by my Neurologist to see Dr Kleinfelter, who she had heard of through another patient, and she said to give it a shot. As a nurse I was VERY skeptical of NUCCA treatment. I had the attitude of, "How is making sure my spine is aligned going to cure something I've had for 19 years of my life?" I gave it a shot because nothing else seemed to work, worse case scenario, I could at least say I gave it a shot. My consultation showed that I was misaligned, the X-rays confirmed it. A week later I received my first alignment. After my alignment, I felt fine, didn't notice a difference. Left the office feeling like nothing changed and that I probably wasted money. That same night, I had the worst migraine I had in a LONG time (and that's saying something). Everything I did made my head feel like it was going to explode. After a few days of having a horrible migraine, I woke up and felt well rested, and energized. I have not woke up feeling well rested in years! I always felt tired no matter how much or how little I slept. Fast forward three months, and here we are. My migraines have dramatically decreased, my occipital neuralgia is almost nonexistent. NUCCA has changed my life. I know when I'm out of alignment now, things just feel off, and if I do not correct it, headaches start occurring more and my nerve pain ramps up. I have a quality of life back. I'm better rested, in less pain, and only using Botox and Ajovy to control my migraines. A big change considering I used to take up to 8 different medications a day to try and keep them under control, with little relief being provided. I went from a skeptical nonbeliever to someone who would recommend this to anyone that is experiencing pain, chronic fatigue, and just a sense of feeling off. The worse that can happen is you can go in for a consultation to find out you're not exhibiting symptoms of a upper cervical misalignment. When I have had acute instances of back and neck pain, Dr. Dan's treatments have always helped me recover significantly faster than when I don't treat with him (due to time or money, depending on the time in my life). Although, to be fair to her review, my pain treatments in the past have not been due to traumatic injury - more like forgetting that I can't do at 43 what I could at 20. Or 30 for that matter. Or....35. I digress. My only "criticism" of Dr Dan's office is that his hours are difficult to me to schedule to. HOWEVER, when I communicate well with him, he tries incredibly hard to accommodate me. Earlier this evening my son said out of blue I think Dr Dan fixed the issue because I'm not feeling the pain no more! So about 8pm I followed up with my son to see how he felt and he said "Dr Dan got it" then we chanted DR DAN IS THE MAN a couple times. He's good with adults and kids, talks to him and not just me. She went deep, but not as deep as she could have since it was the first time. The second time she went deeper always asking if I was ok. I had been going to physical therapy before I started massage therapy. I just came went to PT tonight. She could tell a remarkable difference because of Gretchen's abilities.
