After…read morecontacting BestMind and talking to an associate about my private medical background, they assured me, they thought that my insurance would cover treatment. I was then required to have an appointment with a doctor before they would send in a pre-authorization. In my appointment with Adara Lanning, she also assured me she thought I would qualify for my insurance to cover the TMS and the next steps were to put together a pre-authorization packet. I was then sent a text from an associate verifying that they were putting together a pre-authorization packet and it should take about 7 to 14 days. I then heard nothing for a month and had to reach out. It took days for anyone to get back to me at which time I was told that the pre-authorization team didn't think that I would get authorize so did not put together a pre-authorization packet and never sent anything to my insurance company. I'm not sure why their internal team was making the decision!? I'm not sure why that decision was not communicated to me and I was waiting around, thinking that I was gonna get help with my depression. I think it's absolutely disgusting that this company preys on people that are struggling. I added screen shots of the texts I received.

It has legitimately been one of the worst days of my life. Instead the interactions have me completely disregulated, and I don't understand why or how it happened. The people who work here accused me of smoking Marijuana or vaping in their office. I'm outraged by the accusation. Even after I told them multiple times it 100% wasn't me, I got a lecture about how their air circulation system works. They pressured me to admit something I didn't do while I was under and coming out of a ketamine induced state, and it was highly traumatic. Now they're accusing me of driving home on my own when I have proof I didn't. They told police I committed felony DUI. My friend who picked me up is also bald with a beard and glasses, and we sat in front of the clinic in his car (me in the passenger seat) for several minutes while I told him the ridiculous story. I am contacting the OHA. Timeline: April 15 1:20pm: call with provider 2:18pm Lyft picks me up 2:33pm Lyft dropoff 2:40pm appointment and paperwork 3ish nurse Peter administers dose 3:05: Peter administers second dose 3:50: Peter comes in to take my blood pressure 4:00 Peter comes in and asks me if I'm smoking marijuana 4:36 My ride messages me that he's close but can't find suite F, and I tell him it's around back 4:40 I walk out to the front desk to tell them my ride is here. 4:43 Nurse says she needs to check my blood pressure. Then she begins to lecture me about smoking marijuana in the office. I immediately ask for a supervisor. Manager comes out and explains how their AC works. I tell her she can save her breath and I start emptying out my pockets. 4:44 I explain how unprofessional and rude they're being. I didn't yell or scream 4:45 I walk out in a huff and get in my ride's passenger seat, directly in front of the facility front door. April16 1:20pm the next day, Peter calls, voice quivering, to let me know that they are canceling my medication because I drove myself home. I immediately exclaim "Whoa, whoa, whoa". Peter talks over me. I begin to explain I have proof I didn't drive, which you, reader, can see for yourself posted below. Then he hangs up. 1:30 I call and ask to speak to management wanting to show them my proof that there's been a mistake. Manager dodges me as I call repeatedly to prove my innocence. I tell them I'm heading up there and will be there in 15 minutes. The operator tells me: You have every right to do that, we don't appreciate your threats. I tell her I have proof on my phone that someone is lying about me, and walking into a doctor's office to show them pictures is not a threat 2:00pm I arrive and there are 8 police on scene. I approach and let them search me so everyone can see I'm not a threat, just a guy with some screenshots. The police tell me the people in the office aren't interested in seeing them, and told me to leave and never return or call back under threat of arrest. April 17: They send a letter (posted below) in a certified envelope from Stacy Kendall, the Office Manager. The letter offers me provisional care for 30 days, which I cannot schedule without being arrested. The letter is dated April 11. How could the letter be written on April 11 when the appointment was on April 15? It appears they are worried this could be patient abandonment and Stacy Kendall fudged the date to try to cover it up. More than Shady. Now they're dragging their feet returning or disposing the meds in my name at their clinic. They waited 10 days after firing me to have their Disposal Company send them a box that's going to take seven business days for them to receive. I can't get my treatment anywhere else because BestMind has not returned the meds in my name. I've had to cancel an additional weeks worth of treatment at another clinic. This Clinic abandoned me and left me in crisis. DO NOT COME HERE NO MATTER What. Go to EVOLVE Health.

They close out at 715ish and have everyone share a little brief recap of what they took away from the lecture/instruction and weekend plans One of the best in the state and does accept OHP and medicaid and has openings. The intensive outpatient is twice a week for 12 weeks - an autobiography is required to share, participation in 25 AA meetings or adjacent type meetings and a peer mentor/sponsor for graduation as well as a once a week check in with a lifestance addictions counselor to check in where you at with your goals all in all a great experience good luck folks

Not sure why . . . " and offered NO ASSISTANCE WHATSOEVER. I then asked to speak to the person who scheduled the appt only to be told they were unavailable. Then within minutes I get call from an unknown number and it's the person who was supposedly unavailable. All this after they had formerly messed up setting me up with a new therapist and I had to go 5 weeks with nobody to talk with. This is mental health treatment but it felt like mental health torture.

After 4 months of sincere reflection, I have decided to make this review to warn others because I…read moredon't want any other innocent person, seeking support + healing in therapy, to instead end up harmed by Dr. Snyder in a similar way to what I experienced working with her. I worked with Rose for over 3 years + did meaningful healing work. She had taken her annual month off during the summer. At our second session after her long break, I was catching her up on several life updates. She decided one of the situations I shared was cause to report me to CPS. She asked me not a single clarifying question about this incident, but instead used time in that same session to talk about her family chaos + a deeply traumatic situation with her friend. The disclosure she made of her friend was about them being stabbed with scissors by their child and nearly dying. She told me nothing about what was done, support sought, or if the friend was even ok. I felt deeply sorry for her friend, but she shared this inappropriate (and frightening for me) story knowing I had a very significant trauma history that was closely aligned to this story. Even more problematic, Rose shared this while failing to ask me any questions about what I shared, that she wildly misunderstood. She then proceeded to institutionalize harm against my family with misinformation. A deeply unethical course of action according to every other mandated reporter + therapist I have now run this by. So in the therapy session after her extended work break she shares this traumatizing story with me that deeply frightens me + reopens some scary parallel trauma while in the background, she quickly moves forward + files an unwarranted CYA report to CPS against me within 24 hours of that session. She claims she submitted an extra addendum to CPS about what a good parent I was + all the efforts I was making to care + support my child. But who reports suspicion of harm while also knowing a child was not in any kind of danger? Had she asked me a single follow up question it would have absolutely clarified what she grossly misunderstood. In the past 4 months I have gone on a quest to find another mandated reporter who would have proceeded similarly, + I have yet to find one. Most folks I have talked to about this fallout were shocked + concerned about her deeply unethical choice of action + what she chose to disclose in that session. Most noted that she should have, + could have, clarified on that call to make certain her report was being made in good conscious + with clear understanding. Or she could have asked for a follow up session with me. She did none of those things. Therapists were in disbelief that she proceeded in the way that she did causing such unnecessary + irrevocable harm. This experience for me was one of betrayal, relational trauma + violation the likes of which I have never experienced by a trusted other. By lodging that report, I had to tell my child the very next day that someone might show up at school to interview them without me present (this is the standard CPS practice for school age children). Rose knew my child's profile well + how traumatic such an interview would be for her. She also knew my child was deeply loved, cared for, + supported in my home. + yet she chose to proceed anyway + risk traumatizing us (which she successfully did). The outcome of said meeting could have resulted in my child being taken from school, without me knowing where she was, + temporarily placed in foster care for 48 hours with a family she did not know, if CPS had any questions about her well-being or if they saw any bruise or anything that made them suspicious about her safety. The risk for serious + lifelong harm was set in motion by Rose's unbelievably misguided choice. This is standard CPS process + an ethical therapist should know the process, risks, + level of endangerment that is related to their actions. Rose ENDANGERED my family. My child has been having ongoing nightmares about the interview + being taken from our family. This is a direct result of Rose's unethical actions. CPS dropped the case after 2 weeks without even interviewing us. The whole purpose of that agency is to protect kids in danger + in reading the report they could clearly see that my child is not in any kind of danger. Rose knew that well which makes her choice all the more baffling. The report should never have been made. I was left traumatized, in shock, confused, hurting, with a kid panicking. Rose wouldn't respond to my emails, concerns or questions, + then within days sent me a boiler plate termination of service completely abandoning her care. It is antithetical to the core purpose of relational therapy. It is a deep harm I will probably be working to heal for the rest of my life. Protect your well-being, steer clear of Rose, + find another practitioner.

Marriage Counseling with Darcy We came to Cornerstone…read moreClinical Service for marriage coaching. My wife and I started going and we were driving to appointments together. Working through struggles Darcy suggested a separation for our marriage. This had no drawn out plan or timeline. This appointment was made as an unscheduled meeting and happened on a Friday before Mothers Day weekend. They wanted me to leave the home. Today we are still separated and I suggested forgiveness and reconciliation. Darcy abandoned us and said she was unable to counsel us any longer. So she suggests separation and then it doesn't work because there was no drawn out plan. Abandons us and says to find someone else. These are professional that are supposed to help in even the most difficult situations. We went 2-3 weeks between appointments which was so painful, especially when sessions were rough. I became hopeful as we finally had the first of 4 weekly appointments in September. I actually had hope these weekly sessions would help and allow us to work through issues. In that first session it was painful to hear her say she was unable to counsel us. No explanation could justify this. It was a feeling of total abandonment. This was right before the first of 4 weekly sessions. On top of that my mom just died 8/16/24 two weeks before we were abandoned. Stay away from this place and know a counselor needs to have a full plan in order to suggest a separation. This separation was a toxic plan that dug a deeper hole instead of drawing our marriage closer. Separation is not Gods plan, unless it's a domestic abusive relationship. The Bible and the Lord are the only resources that can be trusted. The Bible's word never changes. It's truth. It leads people toward repentance, forgiveness and reconciliation. Save yourself the pain and heartache and find wise biblical counselors. Most of these people don't charge anything and try love others.
