Instructor was knowledgeable and it was easy to learn from him. The people in the class were very welcoming and helpful. The moment I put my information on the website requesting for information they reached out maybe 30 mins to an hour later. They were very supportive in my goals and very helpful. It was a very smooth and personal process when contacted by them. The day of my class I was sent a video from one of the ladies explaining where they are located and even where to park. This made the process easy and it also helped take away any nerves or jitters that I had following up to the class. The gentlemen that I first spoke to gave me a free t-shirt and a tour of the facility. People when I say the gym is clean I mean it is clean you can tell that the owner takes pride in the cleanliness of the gym and that the employees take it very series. This is for sure one of Asheville's top facilities that house Jiu-jitsu and it shows the moment you step into the door. Better yet it shows the moment you reach out for information. With all that said ultimately I did not sign up. The reason for this is that I could not justify or afford their prices. This is also why I gave 4 stars. The gym was everything I was looking for and more but the prices were not. However I will say that it is kind of one of those "you get what you pay for" situations. I can absolutely see the price point because like I said it is for sure one of Asheville's top tier facilities. It was just not what I was ready to sign up for financially. I will add also that it has been a little less than a week after turning them down and I have not been hounded with phone calls or text. That is a good thing to me because normally gyms will not leave you alone after turning them down. I am looking to join something like this for a weight loss journey with no interest in earning any type of belt. You can tell that this gym would absolutely put you on the path to become excellent at the sport. I in no way regret going and checking it out. I do not feel as if I wasted my time. They were very professional and helpful people. I absolutely recommend at least giving it a shot and going by.

This place looks like any regular gym would. They got specific areas for whatever class you are…read moretaking. They let me borrow some gear for my first class. The person up front is very helpful and makes sure you have everything you need. The teacher I had made sure to demonstrate each move before letting the class practice the move. Them we were partnered up with another person in that class and we did that whole bit a couple times before planking. There is a locker room with bathrooms and showers. They have a schedule for adults that shows all the classes they'll have Monday through Saturday. They also have classes for kids and overall it's a great place to learn. I only give 4 out of 5 because it's my first gym and while it was great, I have nothing to compare it to. I definitely recommend.
