He did everything, and this made the whole process so much simpler. We had an issue with an error from the manufacturer--the bottom of the blind wasn't level with the sill. Called Chris, he came out and agreed--no problem. He ordered a new blind, installed it himself when it was ready, and then pointed out that a few of the rows toward the bottom of the blind were slightly crinkled and said the crinkle should smooth itself out, but, if not, we should call him and he'd l have it remade again. I was so impressed with this. Turns out we didn't have to call him. The crinkle smoothed itself out as he expected. FYI: The last time I dealt with a window treatment company, one of the woven blinds we ordered had a very noticeable flaw when it was installed--it was somewhat unraveled in a very small spot, but, because the installer wasn't the owner, and only did his job--which was to install--he didn't say a word about it. So we just thought we'd have to put up with the flaw, and we HAVE been. If it had been Chris, HE would have pointed out the flaw and would have reordered a new blind without hesitation. She said she's had nothing, but great experiences with Gotcha Covered...and looks like (based on the stellar reviews) that many yelpers agree. I called last Monday and found time on a Saturday morning for a sales rep (Jay) to stop by. Saturdays are ideal for my work schedule, although when he stopped by at 10am I had 3 kids I had to kick out of their rooms (especially the teenager) so he walked into a bit of craziness, but didn't seem bothered by it. Within an hour we chose hunter douglas room darkening shades for my kids rooms, as well as a custom made silhouette window shade for our bathroom. My decorator facetimed to help us pick a color and fabric for the window, which ended up being a quick 5 min call. We were able to match all the shades to the existing trim in all the rooms and then Jay was off. Jay promised a quote by Monday, but delivered it Saturday afternoon. While pricey it ended up being much less than I expected (also included a designer referral discount) and I"m really happy with everything we ordered. I did think about shopping around, but decided to just go with Gotcha Covered based on the stellar reviews, great service from Jay and the price seemed fair (even chatgpt agreed :)). They required a 50% deposit to place the order and promised to deliver/install in 4-6 weeks. I'll update my review after installation, but I'm happy so far!

I contacted Bill who was easy to communicate with and scheduled for an estimate. I highly appreciate his straightforward personality and unapologetic honesty. He knows he has a great product and provides incredible prices; he doesn't have to sell you on anything. He didn't try to upsell me and informed me of my options that gave me more bang for my buck. For example, he told me that he has a team that could install the shades (for a very reasonable price) but if someone in the house was handy and as long as we knew how to use a drill, we could install the shades ourselves. He was right, the shades weren't difficult to install. With the right drill bit and a charged drill, it only took a couple of hours to install 9 shades. Bill informed me of a promotional North Shore Shutters was offering over the summer that was still running, free upgrade for Bottom Up Top Down shades. These cellular shades are quality!
