Anyway, when she left, I decided to not bother taking the drive here and found a great place by my house. Long story short, I'm leaving for vacation and my girl wasn't available so I came here and asked for a recommendation for someone to do my brows. What I got was a mess! When I saw the one brow I immediately told the girl that I usually don't take that much off and she, visibly seeing I wasn't happy, said my eyebrow was already messed up (it wasn't). The wax felt fine going on and I do not have sensitive skin but there is some kind of stinging welt beneath the eyebrow that got messed up. Nothing could be done so I didn't say anything more and I left. I called the owner 15 minutes later because I was too upset after looking at my brows in the car and she said I would be offered a refund and to go to someone named Lidia next time. She called me back a couple hours later and she said she talked to the girl and the girl explained everything she did to me during my session. I don't know how that's relevant. Explaining what you did doesn't make me like the outcome. The owner said the girl who did my brows "does them all day" and that "no one has ever complained". That was the end of the conversation. I didn't receive a refund and I will not be going back. The proof is in the pictures.

In all my years of spray tanning, nobody has ever topped Evelyn's work. I go to her because she prides herself on providing quality service. And it shows. My appointment was for Saturday at 2:30. Parking is available at Aldersgate across the street from the salon, but luckily I found street parking. If you're visiting the salon on a weekday, definitely park at Aldersgate. As always, Evelyn was very thorough with me. She explained what she was doing when she was doing it, and made sure the tan was flawless once she finished spraying me. Evelyn provides an exfoliant, aftercare instructions, and lotion to take home with you to use after your shower. The salon itself is cozy and quiet; the perfect addition to the Willow Grove area. Besides spray tans, Evelyn also does sugaring and lash extensions. It's not often that I get spray tans, but I will always refer Evelyn to my family and friends.

I am a person who rarely wears makeup and usually has my hair in a braid so I was a bit nervous about finding someone who would be able to do my hair and makeup in a way that made me still feel like myself but also more glamorous than I ever have in my life. Dominique and Jillian did just that! These girls were prompt and professional. They flew through the hair and makeup timeline and made my bridesmaids (all 11 of them!!), mother, mother in law, and I all feel gorgeous. They let us know ahead of time what we needed to have in the bridal suite, but really brought most of the stuff they needed. We just needed tables and chairs! I loved working with them and cannot imagine how I would have looked if I had not hired Blush Bar for my big day. These are women who really listen to what your bridal vision is and make it come to life. I knew immediately after my trial that I trusted them to make me look exactly how I wanted on my wedding day.
