However, the crew left a poorly patched hole in our roof during the panel installation process. We spent 4 months and thousands of dollars trying to find a leak in the roof and fix a problem we swore had nothing to do with NTS. Finally, after many phone calls, they agreed to remove some panels for the 4th roofing company to check the roof. The hole in the roof was directly under one of the panels. The roof was repaired and we have no more water coming in. We do have bills for roof modification, chimney caps, spray foam insulation, drywall repair, painting and will need some kind of mold remediation in the attic. We called, sent pictures and email. No response, totally ghosted. I can recommend the system, but not the installation. Now I'm worried we won't have any help if we do need something. Very discouraging.

Unfortunately, dealing with Shahin Haynes made each experience less than stellar but the most recent experience with the purchase and installation of additional residential solar panels was extremely disappointing. A deposit was collected and installation was scheduled without a finalized site plan or documented design approval ever being provided to me. When installation issues surfaced, which were outside of my control, I requested to pause the project until an internal Bullet Energy plan could be reviewed and agreed upon . Shahin bluntly stated that I would forfeit my deposit if we delayed. Being financially committed to a project without an approved site plan is unacceptable. Rather than acknowledging the breakdown in process, Shahin Haynes' response was dismissive and defensive. Requests for reasonable compromise were rejected outright, and the tone of communication was unprofessional. At one point, I was told the company was not making money on a "$5K job," which is not something a customer should ever hear. In addition, Shahin suggested a solution to offset the potential loss of my deposit would be to claw-back Gage Mueller's commission. Again, as a customer, this is not something any "VP of Operations" should communicate to a customer. The installation was ultimately completed and paid in full, but the customer experience was poor from a process and communication standpoint. I escalated these concerns directly to Mr. Vogel, the COO, on December 14, 2025, and followed up again on January 7, 2026. Considering I waited two months for a response, writing a review of my experience is justified. Clear design approval, documented sign-off, and professional communication are baseline expectations. Based on this experience, I would not recommend Bullet Energy Solutions.

DO NOT USE THEM!!! Let me explain why. I signed the…read morecontract with My Own Power company with the agreement that I will be 80% independent from the grid by installing a solar system that can produce 14.5 kWh. The solar system was installed/went live in August 2022 and this is where all the problems started. My Own Power was supposed to send a check to my power provider in the same month of August 2022 so I could start getting credit for my production. I reached out to my power provider to check what was the reason for the delay and they informed me that they never got that check from the solar company. Finally, the check was sent at the end of November 2022, and they promised me that I will get reimbursed for 3 months of delay. They did pay me in February 2023, but I had to keep reminding them about that reimbursement. And now about the main issue with this company. I installed Enphase app on my cellphone since day one my panels were on my roof. I noticed that one of the panels is showing an error and my power production is at 11.5 kWh and not 14.5 kWh. I reached out to My Own Power and let them know about the issues in August 2022. They told me that they need 12 months of data from the system to recalculate the power production for my system. I don't think you need 12 months of data to know that 11.5 kWh is less than 14.5 kWh. They shipped the microinverter to my house in February 2023 and no one came to fix my panel. They stopped answering their phone and not returning my calls. Just to note that they never called with any updates on the progress throughout the project, so I had to call them. Now, I have a system that is under-producing with one dead panel and a leaky roof. P.S They are quick on taking your money and they will ignore you if you have a problem. PLEASE AVOID THIS COMPANY!!!

I like the fact Stevan himself came to my family's home and did a good job estimating the project at no coast. We worked together and met as a price. He drew up the contract, I signed it and gave him half of the money up front. The project date was set and I felt optimistic hiring them to do the work. The morning the work was to begin, I waited for Steven's crews. At 9:00 AM an eighteen wheel pulls up to my house and unloads the material in my yard. This was on a Thursday. At 10:30AM, Stevan's crews had not arrived. I called the project Forman and he was very apologetic saying they had cancel the project for Thursday the day before due to the possibility of bad weather. He apologized due to not contacting me regarding them canceling. I was furious. I had canceled work for that day to be there for the roof replacement. I called Stevan and requested we cancel the contract. At this point I didn't feel optimistic about this contractor. I let Stevan talk me into moving forward on the contract and we set a date for the following Monday with the promise that he would personally supervise the project. I told him I was flying to New York and I wouldn't be there on Monday. He assured me he would take pictures and I would be happy with their work. Monday---the day of the project. The workers showed up and went to work. The Forman called me and I tried talking to him but there was a huge language barrier. Stevan sent pictures to my wife and she forwarded them to me. They did a good job but not a professional job. Their quality control is terrible. I hired them to replace the roof, some decking, a lot of the facia boards, drip edge, a section of soffit, and two new boots and turbine, as well as flashing where needed. They finished the job in one day. The roof is now new. They replaced the turbine-new. They did not install the two new boots. The flashing they installed looks terrible and there's areas that need flashing that got over looked. The facia boards will have to be replaced do to poor installation and poor quality control. There's areas of the drip edge that will need adjusting due to being flared upward. This project consist of a hip roof and two sections of flat roof. The flat roof was to get a commercial grade rolled roof. The hip roof was to get shingles. My wife and I spoke with Stevan regarding the color-match of the two. Stevan assures is the colors would match. Well, they don't. Not even close. I am still in New York and have yet to see the roof in person. I spoke with Stevan regarding the above issues and he became offensive saying he felt as if I were "attacking him", and he mentioned they had done extra work and didn't request payment for the extras. Completely unprofessional. I explained to him that I have a right to expect a job well done, and making excuses is not professional. I also reminded him the terms of the contract in respect to additional work: he would contact me and we would come to an agreement. Stevan has assured me that he will have someone at my house next Monday to fix the above problems. He did however say the electrical riser will not get the promised (in the contract) boot due to his worker not feeling safe with the installation, despite the pre-contract talk with Stevan assuring me there would not be any problem with the installation. He even went as far as to explain how the install it. Again, I will do a second part to this review after the corrections have been made. I may do an additional review after seeing the job in person. Hopefully it'll be a better review.

When I initially contacted Tesla to do the work, I was given a 39-week lead time. Given the hole in my roof from a fallen tree limb, I could not wait that long. Our roofer was Kanga Roof, who then sub-contracted the work with American Dream Solar. The panel removal was completed very quickly, during which they identified a potential problem with the initial install by Tesla personnel. They exhibited great care in how the panels were removed and stored while off the roof. Once the new roof was back on, they were out in less than a week for the re-install. They did confirm that half my panels had not been connected since they were installed, which I suspect has cost me several thousand dollars in lost electricity savings. Once they were finished, and all my panel were connected, my electric generating capacity doubled. Throughout the process everyone from American Dream Solar we dealt with was professional, I would recommend them without reservation.

The first electrician who came out insisted that it was more than just the breaker and charged me $550 for a diagnostic only to advise me that my wiring and ground was all burned out and I need $9400 worth of electrical work to rewire that whole leg of my electric (sheetrock and paint not included); and left me with NO POWER. He had me go through the whole rigamarole with filing a claim with the insurance company and everything. I called Chris from CER to give me a second opinion and explained that I couldn't afford to spend any more money on diagnostics. Chris was incredible. He offered to come over after work the same day and he checked my ground and all my wiring, with no charge for diagnostic, and said everything checks out fine then replaced the breaker and spaced them out for free and my power came right back on. He only charged me for the breaker and the labor. THAT'S HONESTY. If you're reading this review because you need an electrician, do not have any second thoughts about calling CER RIGHT NOW.

I was quoted a RIDICULOUSLY HIGH $1,200 for a Dye Leak search (plus $380 for a refrigerant recharge and balance). [To exacerbate what I believe is dishonest business practices, they quoted me $626 for a Surge Protector (Condenser Only) and $1,170 for the Condenser and Air Handler!! The problem is I have a WHOLE HOUSE surge protector that I paid about $100 and had a handyman install in less than 15 minutes!! The surge protector is visible when looking at my outside electric meter...hooked up on the bottom of the electric panel.] When Florida Breeze came out in Feb., they indicated because it was too cold, any testing on my Variable Speed Heat Pump unit could be tricked/influenced by the weather and provide a misdiagnosis. When Florida Breeze tested on April 2nd, they determined there was a defective part that was preventing the refrigerant from flowing through the unit. They ordered the part. (They also said it would be less than $500 for a dye leak search and refrigerant.)

They were very professional from start to finish, sent a confirmation and reminder of my appointment, texted to advise when they were on the way, arrived on time, were clean and presentable, respectful, kind, cleaned up after themselves, have good prices, and they even locked my front door when they left.
