They were able to run the wires with minimal sheetrock repair needed. They even upgraded the wall switches in the process. Guys were nice, knowledgeable and put up with all my questions. They were super clean, wore shoe covers inside the house and cleaned up the kitchen spotless afterwards. Highly recommend these guys. Pricing was also much better than the other bids I received.

Had him install 8 can lights in our kitchen area. After a month and a half 5 of them had actually fallen out of the ceiling. He probably used the wrong type and/or improperly installed them. He also cut out a bigger hole than he should have for one of them (8" instead of 6") even thought he had already instaled several. We had to get a drywaller in to repair that. And then there's the huge holes he cut in the drywall to add outlets. The boxes were all crooked and we had to have them fixed. And more drywall repair than should have been necessary. The electrician who we fortunately got to replace him couldn't believe the lack of quality and felt obligated to report Jackson to the electrician board. If you need something done that will take 4 times longer than it should and likely won't be done correctly then this is your guy.

Not only did he replace the outlet, but he noticed that the wiring was the wrong gauge (8 instead of 6), and that the wires were wrapped with the wrong casing and not wrapped all the way back to the box and the cover was for a dryer outlet. He left and got the extra stuff needed. Cut the sheetrock to make sure the outlet was snug and after working, HE vacuumed all the residue stuff on the floor (even tho my garage wasn't the tidiest) Courteous, Conscientous and competent! I waited a week for an appointment as they were "understaffed" that week. I was told I would be taken care of "first thing Monday morning" - actual appointment was for 9:30am. At 10:30am, no one has shown up and I have received no calls. I called the office and was told my technician called in sick over the weekend, BUT they got a sub. "If he has not shown up or called you by now - maybe he can't make it. I guess I will have to call him". After about 10 minutes Mr Olsen called back and INFORMED me that the tech was "not going to be able to make it today" and we would have to reschedule. I don't think so. I called Fisk Electric 972-466-0900 at 11am SAME DAY. They were here at the appointment time of 1pm SAME DAY. My issue was handled by 2pm SAME DAY. They isolated the problem to a faulty toggle switch with built-in dimmer slider. They didn't have an exact replacement. By fiddling wires in the wall and setting the dimmer to a certain spot they got the assembly to not continue shorting. When they left, I was missing a wall plate screw in a highly visible area. I later discovered that 1/4 of the house (different area) had no power, including the security system, as they hadn't reseated a breaker they had shut off during troubleshooting. Weeks later the furnace guy found the attic light had been left on the whole time. The Cotton bill for that minor service (with no repair) was more than my monthly pension payment. I will never call Cotton again.
