Citihomes was one of the locating services that courted me well. They sent a tidy list of links to apartments in my price range and location, and followed up frequently and cheerfully. They didn't find something that really worked for me, though, and they don't work with anything but large complexes, so nothing is really negotiable. Also, I wasn't offered any sort of incentive to work with them (free rent, cash back, etc.), but I may have just compromised too easily.
