Walk in and relax! No, seriously. When you walk in to Excel Chiropractic you can just feel yourself starting to relax. It may not happen on your first visit, but pretty soon every time you walk through that door it will happen. You walk up to the counter to sign your name on the sheet and then sit down in the waiting room with a magazine - and that's when the relaxation begins, because you know your are about to feel a whole lot better real soon. I could sit in the waiting room of a doctor's or dentist's office every day for 10 years straight and I would still be anxious about what's to come. But walking into Excel Chiropractic is a completely different experience. First off, you won't find a friendlier environment. Rich always has a smile for you and always calls you by name. And by the time he's done (which, for me, is never more than 15 minutes after I walked in) I am feeling wonderful. Just walk on in whenever you feel the need (except Thursday's), the wait is never very long, even with a steady flow of people throughout the day. One of the best things is the price, which I think is way low - I feel like I should be paying more for all the great work they have done. After my spinal surgery (double-discectomy) I spent many, many months in some very tough pain. From the very beginning, the wonderful people at Excel Chiropractic have performed miracles - and today I am a new man. That was three years ago now and I feel great. I have had back problems for most of my adult life. Rich is the only Chiro i have found who actually HELPS my pain and doesn't increase it . He is a normal drop table chiro and very friendly. I've been to a few chiropractors in town and Rich is the best by far. I've been going to him as needed for almost 2 years. Rich is a real stand up guy and always makes you feel comfortable. He listens to your complaints about your pain and does really well to help relieve it. Parking is never a problem. Wait is never too bad. I've been going to this office for at least 5 years now, or so I think. The first time I went in was because I had same really horrible stabbing pain in my neck/shoulder region and couldn't turn my head. His office was around the corner from my old house. I still remember he took xrays and did not charge me for them. When I tried joining the Navy over 2 years ago he gave me exercises to help with my flexibility. I have really bad TMJ. Before I knew he treated TMJ, it would get to the point where I couldn't even open my jaw all the way in the mornings. Now, ever since he has started working on my TMJ, no more issues with opening my jaw and even now it doesn't crack nearly as often as before. He always finds the knots in my shoulders and massages them out. I now live in North Las Vegas but I will make the drive whenever I feel I need an adjustment, even if I have to go like 3x in a week or so, I'm great at injuring myself. I have issues with my C4 & 5 (neck area) being out of alignment and causing discomfort on a regular basis. I've been dealing with it for years, and haven't been to a Chiropractor in years...it can be pretty intimidating having someone adjust your neck! I can say I suffered and didn't need to. Dr Bakir has a good manner, and the adjustment was easy. I also can't imagine finding a chiropractor that was more reasonably priced (We don't have traditional insurance)! When I was pregnant he was very knowledgeable with how to adjust safely for me and the baby. He's very funny and his staff is great! The first time I went here was about 5 years ago. I hurt my back by picking up the laundry basket wrong. My back was aching that I had to walk a little hunched over. And what made matters worse was the fact that my wedding was in about 5 days. As the bride I was really concerned about the ability to walk down the aisle and dance with my Father and Husband. And much less in high heels. So thankfully a friend recommended Dr Rich. He was so down to earth and made me feel comfortable. I saw him 3 times that week and on my wedding day I was able to walk down the aisle in my high heels standing straight upright and in no pain. I come here often when my back or neck is in pain. This is a great office: Great Chiropractor, location, and service. I'm able to get in and get out with an adjustment by a qualified chiropractor. I go in regularly as somehow I seem to get out of adjustment. Dr. Rich takes care of me. He tells me when I'm crooked, and does the correct adjustment to resolve my issue. I'm so glad I found Dr. Bakir and Excel Chiropractic. Yesterday, I had pain in my lower back so bad I found it hard to walk. I went to my doctor who wanted to put me on physical therapy and pain killers for a few weeks. After a trip to Dr. Bakir, 90% of the pain was gone and I was back at work the next day.
