Thank goodness for Excel!! They were able to remove oil stains from a priceless jacket of mine, making it good as new again. They also did a great job getting the wrinkles out of a shirt I've never been able to fix, and cleaning a delicate handmade costume piece. Staff were very personable, and explained exactly what would be done and what potential risks there may be. Price was very fair too, around $50 for the 3 garments. I was able to pick up my pieces within a few days too. Really impressed with their service and will definitely be bringing more garments their way. read more

Let me just start by saying that I've been to many dry cleaners in my life time but this one by far has been the best one I've ever been to. Not only is it 5 minutes away from home, they are very affordable and efficient. I walk a wedding next week & I brought my dress in to get altered & they did such an amazing job & fixed it so fast for me. I literally brought it in last week & just picked it up today. AMAZING! Greatest find my laziness has taken me to! I was across at Lucky's and realized I needed to find a cleaners and looked up across the parking lot to see Excel. It was too hot and I was far too tired at this point in my existence to even drive elsewhere let alone look up reviews. I went in and got greeted by the most professional and sweetest person. I needed to have a vintage maribou feather robe cleaned but due to how delicate it was I became worried about doing it myself. She totally understood, took the robe to assess it, them even had their fur specialist look at it, called me with a quote and cleaned it. AMAZING how they got a 60 plus year old robe to look brand new! The feathers are fluffy and even old stains completely disappeared. I'll be bringing every vintage garment and specialty item to them going forward. It's worth the drive from Fort Lauderdale to Plantation. read more

Extremely friendly & quality service! I immediately fell in love when I walked in one night right before closing. I was livid because I had just picked up 2 Blazers from my regular dry cleaners that were pretty much ruined. There was a customer in there with her dog stroller (oh geez one of those) that seemed to have seen way better days. She wanted the fabric to be sewn back where it had come off from the side bar. The woman working was very patient with the customer who just couldn't understand why she couldn't fix it. After a few minutes I was ready to just tell the lady to throw it away & buy a new one. But the employee kept explaining it just couldn't be done with the equipment she had. Finally the employee referred her to a different shop that had heavy duty sewing equipment and the lady left. It was 5 minutes past closing and I offered to come back with my issues another day but the woman said she would take care of me. I showed her the blazers and she seemed shocked. I appreciated the honesty when the woman was up front in saying that they would do the best they could even though one spot looked like a burn mark. 4 days later Excel was able to at least lighten the spots that were stained onto my blazers and while the spots are still there I think they are at least wearable. I have brought a few other things in since my first visit and have been extremely pleased with the service. Only thing is they do seem a little pricey. But then again I guess I got what I paid for at my old cleaners. I just wish pricing was posted for all types of items to be cleaned & services offered. The turn around time is 2 days but I believe you can pay extra for rush orders. I'm not sure how much but if you call them, they'll be able to assist you. Once you drop off your clothes, you will be given an itemized ticket with how much you will be paying at pickup. Bring your ticket to pay and pick up your clothes! Really Terrific Dry Cleaner!! I brought my husbands suit, his Quicksilver silk shirt and my daughters Cashmere Sweater there and I was pleased to see they do all their work on the premises. Unusual but much appreciated since I don't have to worry about my clothes being stolen. (That has happened to me more than a few times so this was really appreciated; it's something most people wouldn't think would happen to them so I am so happy to find this place.) The work was done on time and very nicely finished. The shirt had the sleeves pinned up so they didn't get that tell tale folded mark on it.
