As the painting contractors on our Fig Garden address tri-plex here in Fresno, Bill and his brother Steve Petzolt have completed our project today. From top to bottom, in every possible way these guys exceeded expectations. Their amazing crew worked everyday on time and stayed late providing my family and I with the most beautiful paint job. As a former painter of 10 years, I know how important the preparations for applying a finish are. If you're not going to treat and think about each surface specifically (and prep it), you might as well not do the work. They fussed over each surface, completely washed the entire building and eves, they patched, chalked, primed and then applied two coats to everything. Bill's guys pulled out the dirt from the foundation and patched and primed the base! Even specialty materials (paints) were used on things like metal fence posts and our security doors. The crew, led by Pepe, who's been with them for 16 years, attended to every wish with positive attitudes and prompt services. They checked with me and checked again. Before they were getting ready to finish the job asked me to come and and approve each area and point out anything I felt needed another touch. They had actually got those few areas before I had to ask! They even chalked around every outlet and the windows we had replaced years earlier. Our tri-plex looks amazing, it's tight and sealed and looks like it was dipped in paint. I can't recommend any paint contractor as highly as Bill Petzolt's Painting. If fact, we're getting another bid on our house up at Hume Lake! Buyer Beware In…read moreJanuary, I hired Michael, and agreed upon work to repair water damage leaks that appeared on the corners of my house rain gutters. He recommended cleaning/removing leaves and debris out all the rain gutter-- which he did. Also the roof, along where the rain water runs down into gutters. He did as agreed too, I paid him in cash, he offered no receipt, I did not ask for one. Yes, I know, as a senior citizen, I should have known better. Here is my issue: 95% of the work completed except for the harden sealant that he used to seal leaks, didn't hold . It needed to be smoothed out and touched up to match up. He said he will come back to finish it.. few days at most. Cool. It shouldn't take that long. That was is January. It's now March!! I Reached out repeatedly via text roughly every 10 days.. Each time "I promise to be by to finish the job" each time, no show. Only excuses to get it done. My finally call was direct, last time mid February. No response, no show. See pictures for proof. Always, ask and get a receipt, no matter how trustworthy one may appear. Buyer beware, don't pay it until it is 100% complete. I hate being lied to- just be honest and say you never intended to come back!
