Covid hit and now I reach back out to them about the situation and they tell me they are waving the $100 reinstatement fee because he was to complete it in nine months but couldn't because of covid. Oh so you think you are doing me a favor? The school closed without warning. Giving no other option then to go to Naperville. You're. Ittalking a 10 min extra drive. You're talking 45! All I want is a refund for the driving portion so I can have him take it closer to home. That was the point of choosing your school in the first place. Called today to schedule my child's driving. Willing to accept the fast it is what it is. That was until I spoke to the very rude and frustrated lady at this Naperville location. I repeatedly asked to speak to someone else and she repeatedly told me she was the only person. Refused to listen, kept cutting me off. I guess I was suppose to be happy about signing my son up close to home only to go 45min away. The owner called me and she is just as nuts. Right off the start she says "I walked in and my employee told me about the abuse she suffered" lol ABUSE!! Lady right there I knew that conversation was getting no where. Now what's the point of taking driving there. I totally lost trust and feel they might fail my child just from how they reacted over the phone. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE GO SOMEWHERE ELSE! The owner even said to me what was the difference traveling to them when I travel for baseball? Ummm let me tell you the difference crazy lady! My response was that is funny because I schedule them with you and you did not say a thing. She lost it on the phone. He clearly communicated that he was not comfortable taking the road test yet and only wanted classes. Instead of listening to that, their response pushed him toward scheduling the road test anyway and encouraged him to purchase additional lessons. It felt more like a sales push than actually helping the student. My brother is autistic, and driving situations can already be stressful for him. He tried to explain that he wasn't ready and just wanted more practice, but that didn't seem to be taken into consideration. We asked for a refund for the road test fee since the service was never performed and was never even scheduled, but they refused and cited a strict "no refund" policy. It's disappointing to see a company refuse to refund an unused service instead of working with the student.

I had her for 7/10…read morelessons I had, and each one, I felt immensely under pressure, and every move I made was critiqued even if it was correct. she often tapped the break when I was driving fine, when I asked what was wrong, she just said I messed something up without actually telling me my mistake. all of the other instructors I had were great and incredibly informativ, except her. One of my friends recently took a driving test there with her to finally get her license she has been waiting for, for so long. but she failed her because she was barely over a yellow line when turning at an intersection. This was her only mistake. You better hope you do not receive her as a driving instructor. 2 of my other friends also had her a hefty amount, ans have horror stories of how much of a jerk she was.

His primary focus is improving the student's road skills; everything else comes second! He provides really good guidelines about the road rules of Illinois. He would also make us feel comfortable by talking about his learning experience. The USP of this driving school is that, unlike other driving schools, Imran is focused on ensuring his students become excellent, efficient, smart and defensive drivers, no matter what their current level of expertise in driving is! He identifies the areas of improvement and the mindset shift that is needed and gives us more practice in those areas. For example, I am used to the driving attitude from a different country. I had to unlearn those guidelines and shift my mindset to tune to the driving attitude of Illinois. I am really glad I learned driving from Imran sir! Kudos to his efforts and sincerity!!

The instructor was super calm and knew exactly how to help with road test nerves. They were based in Westmont but worked around the Chicago suburbs too -- super convenient. Enrolled our child over the summer of 2024. Child states classes were incredibly boring (instructor was lazy and rolled around in his chair, while teaching) and videos were "out of touch". It did not captivate my child's attention nor did it pique any interest in learning. We enrolled our child in this class for drivers education. He turned 16 in late spring. Classroom is sufficient but the students state "an old fat man that never stands up but rolls around on his office chair". Incredibly boring and monotone. Part of the class includes a "behind the wheel" driving with the instructor. Scheduling "behind the wheel" (BTW) instructor times was, to say the LEAST, one of the worst and most horrific experiences ever! EVER!! Instructions were very unclear on how to schedule - no phone calls allowed, only texts. This could be perceived as innovative however it was in fact obnoxious! Responses to texts were untimely (up to 10 hours later), during hours "outside of normal busier hours" and inconsistent, ie no response after several follow-ups). The scheduler was mean, rude, uncooperative, prejudiced and lacked any sense of decency. She refused to give out her name, so henceforth will be known as "Karen". Karen claimed that students needed to finish class work before being scheduled for BTW and, that they would need to practice driving before BTW scheduling occurred. WTF!! - I thought the instructors were to teach them with their specially equipped cars(brake on the instructors side)!!! That's why we send them to driving school - to learn how to drive with equipment that's not accessible to the public!!! We as parents do not have the proper automobiles that are equipped-the instructors should be taking this on as that is what we pay them for!! We as parents have the responsibility to hone our children's BTW experience after the basic concepts are taught! Seems this school is backwards and doesn't want to be held accountable for the outcome and wants the students that have driving experience! I do not recommend this school at all if you want to get your children licensed for the first time. It was not very expensive but I suppose, you get what you pay for. Never, ever have I encountered such terrible customer service from a person; I do not understand how this business still exists!! Whether it's "Ken's Driving School" or "1st Breese" (Breeze?) -- stay far away.
